Amazing food, generous portions, and a great atmosphere. If you're lucky, they might even send you home with an extra loaf of bread! Highly recommended.

From top to bottom, chicken katsu, garlic shrimp, killa loco moco (comes with spam and Portuguese sausage).

Our go-to Hawaiian food place, even though it's a bit far from Waikiki. Best loco moco in the island, love their gravy. Big servings. Their chicken katsu is amazing too! And so is the garlic shrimp. I love that there's plenty of parking and in an outdoor mall. We discovered Tita's awhile back when they had their place off the highway by the ocean.

I come specifically for this peanut butter bread. But today the peanut butter sauce was just not enough for how thick the slice of bread is! You can bet I'll be back. I'm just gonna order it with extra sauce if that's possible!

Very tasty food! Great island options & flavor! Ladies were very friendly! Shrimp were very large & juicy! Brisket was very tender & flavorful served with rice & Hawaiian macaroni salad . Large portions! Great location next to Polynesian cultural center .

Came to Hawaii and decided to try this popular spot. Got to the stand 30 minutes before they opened, but decided to wait. The wait was well worth it! This authentic killa loco moco was everything my daughter expected plus more! I had the garlic shrimp, nice, big and the shrimp tasted fresh! Truly enjoyed the food!

This was one of the best food trucks I've eaten from. Tita's is situated in the Hukilau Marketplace right by the entrance of the Polynesian Cultural Centre (PCC). It's a great place to stop by and fuel up before entering the PCC as I didn't see many food places in there. The food here was delicious, well cooked and very flavourful, and the portions were quite large (hard to tell from my pics). It's definitely well worth the money if you arrive hungry. There's about a 10 minute wait for them to prepare your food, but there are some tables and chairs with umbrellas to shield you from the sun right in front of the truck, so you can relax while you wait for them to call your number.

The staff were friendly at Tita's, ordering was quick and the food came out very quickly. We each ordered a burger and fries and a drink. The fries were the highlight of my meal. For starters, my burger came with a large, thick piece of tomato that looked like it should have been at least two pieces instead of one. The meat tasted funny. Because of the oversized tomato and funny tasting beef, I couldn't enjoy my deluxe burger. Do yourself a favor and order something else besides a burger, or just don't get the deluxe burger.

Maybe they had an off day but this was very expensive food, which tasted meh. Lacked any significant flavors that were not memorable. Customer service on both the order area and the pickup side were both lacking. The ambiance is nice with it being in PCC but that is really it. Not coming back.

We used to drive all the way here when they were on the side of the road. It's been awhile... Didn't see Uncle Junior at the stand, but wanted to show my son the places we used to eat at all the time. Ordered the usuals, a killa moco, a cheeseburger, the peanut butter toast, and the garlic shrimp! Everything was fantastic and we had had a lot left over! My son loved it! The wife said the shrimp were great as usual and I destroyed the peanut butter toast on homemade bread! One of the best plate lunch places on the north shore!

Whenever in Kahuku, Tita's is the spot to get your craving on!! The food portions are very generous and so delicious!!! It's the type where you leave and crave to be back just so you can have it again. Yes, that's Titas!! I absolutely love bread and to have it fresh when it's served, it's still warm, topped with butter ohhmmgee!!! The bread is great on its own, but they have koko rice that you can dip the bread in, wowser!! It's so bad yet so good!! The service is so friendly and the cook, his got lots of Aloha! I believe his also the owner, and if his not, I love that he takes ownership as if he was. Local bradda serving up local grinds, and you feel it and taste it in their food. This is one of the lunchwagons on the PCC grounds, so you can have a great meal than make it a full day of watching the PCC shows.

This place hit the spot..... thank you Tommy for your kind hospitality and quality food!!!! Def coming back! Everything was delicious!!!!

Food (5/5): Ordered the Killa Moco which includes white rice, brown gravy, beef burgers, two eggs, veggies, Portuguese sausage and spam for $21. Overall the dish was pretty good. My friend got fries and brisket sandwich which they claimed was also good. Portions were plentiful. Service (4/5): Food came out at moderate speed and you pick it up on your own. Ambiance (5/5): Situated in the Polynesian cultural center entrance area, there is a solid amount of seating.

Ask the Community - Tita's Grill and Catering

I know covid may have changed things so I was wondering if you still do catering and if you have an online menu?

Please call Aunty Almira at +1 808-372-9937 for our current offerings. Thanks!

Yelp says your open at 7a, but the lady I spoke to on the phone says 8a...which is it?

I will definitely find out for you. Covid may have affected hours. Update: it was confirmed that it is now 8am. I have changed the information on yelp. Thank you for bringing this to our attention! Mahalo!

Is there a catering menu anywhere?

Yes. Call Aunty Almira at +18083729937 and ask her to give you a catering menu. Mahalo!

    Breakfast all day?

No. We have a breakfast time cutoff. Mahalo!

No one has been answering the phone? Are you open? Checking to see if you have hot bread today 10/3/19

We're so busy we hardly have time to answer. We are open every day except Sunday. Stop in and see us!

Is this the same Tita's Grill that closed down before, and that was pretty famous for its bread?

Hi Jimmy! You're exactly right! Same people, same food, different location. You can now find us at the entryway to the Polynesian Cultural Center (PCC). Since we are outside the park, you do not need to pay admission to enter. Come on over and have…

Do you have to have a ticket or pay to enter the center to be able to eat here? It was one of our favorites at the old location.

No you do not have to pay admission to enter. It is part of the Hukilau Marketplace that is free and open at 7 a.m. Monday through Saturday

We were welcomed into the small hole-in-the-wall restaurant in a neighborhood strip mall by a young woman named Telani. Telani could not have been more excited to tell us everything there was to know about the entire menu and the history of the family who owned it. Telani was so genuinely interested in us and asked question after question that made us feel like we were celebrities that had just walked into a small town diner. Telani is the star of this story, but I want to mention that the other two employees left a positive impression as well, amazing service is clearly a culture at this restaurant. Our shake took a little longer than usual because they were accommodating a young boy with a severe peanut allergy. At the end of our meal, Telani walked over and handed us a personalized postcard that she had written to commemorate our visit! This 17-year-old medical student at BYU Hawaii just put my own customer service expectations to absolute shame. I cannot wait to get back to my hotel staff and share this story and hopefully inspire them to start writing some postcards of their own. I've just finished writing one of my own. P.S. All the food was AMAZING! We got the Shez's paniolo burger, the Sterlings teriyaki burger, the paniolo fries, the banana bread, and a vanilla shake with Nutella and Oreo. Gonna have to hit the hotel treadmill hard tomorrow.

This trip we had a full breakfast with eggs, bacon, and potatoes; bagel; pancake;, oatmeal; and assorted drinks (latte, tea, juice, hot chocolate). The food is genrally good, but it is a bit pricey. I suppose that is to be expected in Hawaii and in a hotel. A very modest breakfast for 2 with tax and tip usually exceeds $50. Service is friendly and the food comes out moderately quickly. You order at the cash register, they give you a number, and you find a table inside or outside and they bring your food. We like to sit outside and enjoy the weather so the ambience is pleasant. There are other restaurants in the area that are cheaper if you want to get in your car.
