Always loved titas grill and wife and I been coming here from when they was in that little building next to kahuku store way back. This by far is the saddest peanut butter bread we have ever gotten from here. The disappointment in my wife's voice when she open the container I was like what happened, she like there's no sauce. This was one of the best food trucks I've eaten from. Tita's is situated in the Hukilau Marketplace right by the entrance of the Polynesian Cultural Centre (PCC). It's a great place to stop by and fuel up before entering the PCC as I didn't see many food places in there. The food here was delicious, well cooked and very flavourful, and the portions were quite large (hard to tell from my pics). It's definitely well worth the money if you arrive hungry. There's about a 10 minute wait for them to prepare your food, but there are some tables and chairs with umbrellas to shield you from the sun right in front of the truck, so you can relax while you wait for them to call your number. read more

The staff were friendly at Tita's, ordering was quick and the food came out very quickly. We each ordered a burger and fries and a drink. The fries were the highlight of my meal. For starters, my burger came with a large, thick piece of tomato that looked like it should have been at least two pieces instead of one. The meat tasted funny. Because of the oversized tomato and funny tasting beef, I couldn't enjoy my deluxe burger. Do yourself a favor and order something else besides a burger, or just don't get the deluxe burger. read more

Whenever in Kahuku, Tita's is the spot to get your craving on!! The food portions are very generous and so delicious!!! It's the type where you leave and crave to be back just so you can have it again. Yes, that's Titas!! I absolutely love bread and to have it fresh when it's served, it's still warm, topped with butter ohhmmgee!!! The bread is great on its own, but they have koko rice that you can dip the bread in, wowser!! It's so bad yet so good!! The service is so friendly and the cook, his got lots of Aloha! I believe his also the owner, and if his not, I love that he takes ownership as if he was. Local bradda serving up local grinds, and you feel it and taste it in their food. The service was satisfactory and timely. The surroundings of the marketplace area wasn't too loud or overwhelming. Photos from the past on here for the koko rice looks nice chocolatey and thick. The one that I was served was cold and drinkable thru a small coffee cup lid. It was so watery it was like watery hot chocolate with soft rice. I've had this before else where. Nothing like this and it was upsetting. Looked at a few photos of "homemade" hamburger steak. I love a good homemade patty. Such as what they advertise on the menu....however as someone to at works for food service, the patty I was served was a store bought patty. Prime location. Easy access right off Kam Hwy in the PCC food court. This is the second time I have come here and both times were great. Loco Moco plate (not pictured) was plentiful and good. The portions are big so bring your appetite. The hamburger steak plate was yummmmmy!Smothered in onions and mushrooms over rice with gravy and Mac salad, hit the spot after a long day in Town. This is the obvious choice for CocoRice and what they call Poly Bread, which is just a big thick slice of yummy bread with or without butter, with or without being toasted. This is enough to fill you up, but if you want more protein to last you the day through, try the loco Moco or the veggie omelette. I've had both and they are delicious. This truck is one of the few spots where someone with Celiac can get something from the food trucks at the Polynesian Cultural Center. When I went here on 3/4/2022, I found out that there is only one option that can be made gluten free here, which is the garlic shrimp. You can switch out one scoop of mac salad for a third scoop of rice. My food was good but it was a mess to eat as the shrimp need to be peeled and they're covered in garlic butter. Your choices are pretty limited at the food trucks if you have to eat gluten free, so grab this shrimp plate. read more

I blame Guy Fieri for the long drive to this food cart! Haha. Actually, it's a beautiful ride from Waikiki and I stopped at a yogi-In-Temple and several beaches along the way until I arrived at this destination. While I intended on getting the shrimp in garlic sauce, when I realized it was peel and eat, I changed my mind. All of the pics on their menu show beautiful shrimp without the shell in a bed of rice. But I asked for clarification and was told shrimp in shells. Not for me! Too messy, too much work! Decided to order the Tita's pack which had two pieces of fresh hate fish fried. The fish was so tender and light. Just delicious! But they offer no fresh lemon to squeeze on it or any sauce. I went to the Kiwi Fish & Chip truck next door and asked for lemon. I need lemon with my fresh seafood! There were also 3-4 chunks of garlic chicken, dark meat. Tasty, not my fave. And 4 pieces of Korean short ribs. Plus noodles stir-fried with onion and carrot. All this over a bed of white rice, of course, for $19.99. Easily can feed two and we had leftovers! The food was good, came piping hot, like burn the roof of your mouth hot! Which as crazy at is sounds, I prefer. This means it's freshly made and I think it tastes better! There is outdoor seating around the cart and throughout the area as it's all part of the Hukilau Marketplace at the entry if the Polynesian Cultural Center. Open to anyone, you don't need to be a visitor if the center. Parking is free. There are other food cards and a home decor shop plus The Hawaii Store for all things Hawaiian. read more

I knew I wanted to eat here before I even got to the island! Couldn't wait to try this spot and it was everything I imagined. I got the loco moco plate that also came with Portuguese sausage, mac salad, and a slice of their butter bread. For just being a piece of bread, it was out of this world good! My dish was also really good, I loved the mac salad. I think it was one of the best ones I ate on my whole trip. We are here before going into the PCC and we stayed full the entire day until the luau. One thing I will mention is that there is no indoor seating and it was WINDYYYY outside. Like so windy it was not enjoyable to be outside to eat. Can't control the weather though, just hope the next time we go it's not as bad so we can properly enjoy the food and views. read more

I thought Giovanni's shrimp truck was delicious, but the garlic shrimp here blew Giovanni's out of the water! The dish was pricier for fewer shrimp, but the shrimp was larger, more tender, and more flavorful. It also comes with rice and a scoop of Mac salad.
