Great food - great people. We hit this up after a morning of snorkeling. Look for the bizarre at the school.

The ordering system is quick, step inside and they will take your order and give you a buzzer. Then you can step out to one of the many picnic tables while you wait for your order to be ready. After that you just head back inside for pickup. When our Pancakes arrived they were impressively huge. Definitely enough to share and legitimately some of the best Pancakes I have ever had. The coconut syrup also goes great with the pancakes. Since we got the combo we also got two eggs and sausages. Overall Ted's is a great stop and I would definitely return. Highly Reccommended!

We bought chocolate macadamia nut, strawberry guava and more. 1 hour later while we were on the road by the beach, I read the ingredients before we opened them and I was appalled! The ingredients are the worst! It's like buying the most processed cake or pie from a chain grocery store artificial processed food! It contains hydrogenated oils, artificial flavor, polysorbate 60, none -dairy whipped cream topping, shortening, high fructose corn syrup, carrageenan. This isn't a home made pie. This is made at a factory and shipped to the North Shore. If you want quality and "real" food. Don't eat their pies.

For about the same price, you can get a homemade egg sandwich, hash browns, potatoes, and a fresh meal that actually feels like it was made with care. I try to support local businesses whenever I can, and this place is exactly why. The food is fantastic, the portions are solid, and the atmosphere has that small-town North Shore charm that's getting harder to find. It's a tiny, unpretentious local spot with a great vibe and friendly service. If you're in Haleiwa and looking for a quality breakfast or lunch without the tourist trap feel, Cafe Haleiwa is definitely worth a stop.

Love the feel of non touristy location with inside and outside dining. Order at the counter a they provide a number for your table. They have inside and outside dining out back. The outside dining is campy and I like it. Although we were seated inside, at the time we thought it was connected with a different business. We ordered a breakfast burrito for husband and I had the avocado toast and coffee. Really enjoyed my meal, nicely seasoned. The burrito was huge with country fries. This little gem will be on our list when in Haleiwa.

There is an upstairs seating area that must provide some exceptional views, but it was closed during our visit. Our lunch was easily 5-star. We began with the Spicy Ahi Wontons. Fresh ahi with shallots, scallions, tobiko (Japanese caviar), and cabbage. This App was extremely complex with a hint of spice. Truly wonderful! For our mains we ordered the grilled mahi mahi and fish and chips. My mahi mahi was grilled to a moist perfection, and the brown butter sauce could have overwhelmed the fish, so I went light on the sauce. Their fish n' chips are not your traditional Irish bar offering. The fish was gently battered with panko and fried just right. Their homemade tarter sauce was absolutely delicious. They have a very interesting craft cocktail menu. My Ku'Ula-Kai Mai Tai was on point and perfectly balanced - sweet and sour. Plus 1's Aloalo Fizz reminded her of a Paloma, only made with vodka with a tropical twist. Service was attentive and knowledgeable regarding the menu and ingredients. We really appreciated the chill environment, beautiful view, and the welcoming ocean breeze. Pro tip: After dinner, head downtown to walk off your lunch/dinner and check out all the shops. Dessert? If you enjoy waiting in a long line, then the famous shaved ice shop is located there (IYKYK).

This is another location I try to stay away from, but had to try this place! It's located in Haleiwa town near different shops and places to eat so navigating people on foot is the part of the headache of coming here. There were lots of space for parking right next to Stonefish grill when we were there. I was so happy to see they had many healthy choices on their menu. I decided to go with the Caesar's salad and my date chose the Prime Rib poke that was sooo good! What a great combo of protein, veggies and carbs. The Prime Rib Poke consisted of the house roasted prime, flash seared and cubed with sea asparagus, fresh tomatoes , white onions and soy based dressing topped with won-tons. Hey now!

With all the storms and flooding near by this little tourist town has caused a slow down in business. Found this restaurant on Yelp and made a reservation online. Made the drive over, it's located in one of the areas with different businesses that is walkable. There is parking in lots around them. The place was smaller than we expected, had a relaxed comfortable charm. The weather was comfortable outside so we sat on the covered porch area on interesting heavy well made chairs. Arrived early so the place was relatively quiet Staff were very attentive. Their happy hour runs between 5 and 6, took advantage of the lower rate on two items. Husbands ordered the hamburger which was very juicy and had tasty add ons. It came with garlic fries that were delish. The Tapas we tried were the Spicy garlic shrimp on rice, roasted Brussel sprouts and cauliflower dish. All were delish, be warned the Shrimp dish is very spicy, we ordered a little bread to cut the heat. All in all we enjoyed our dining experience at Maya's.
