Such a great new family-owned spot! You can truly taste the freshness and care that goes into the food. Everything we tried was delicious, but the pupusa bombs are absolutely to die for; definitely a must-try! You really get that welcoming, family-owned feel, personal, kind, attentive, and genuinely appreciative of their customers. We will definitely be returning and are excited to support this local family-owned business!

Everything was really good, we got pupusas de revueltas, de queso, frijol y queso, pollo y queso & pollo flautas. Even the curtido / tomato sauce's were very flavorful... Looking forward to our next visit

Tita and her family are incredibly welcoming, and the ambiance feels like you're right at home. The pupusas are absolutely delicious, and it's definitely a must-try!

We ordered five customized pupusas ahead of time over the phone: two revueltas, one cheese and jalapeño, one cheese and chicken with added jalapeños, and another revuelta with added jalapeños.

Taking a star off for the owners snarky comment to my review which just proves my point about their…read morelack of care for their customers. Instead of trying to find out HOW meat got into my bean and cheese pupusa, she chose to be sarcastic and defensive about my experience without taking any accountability. She also said that their prices are "a little up there" and "are not meant for everyone" even though no one mentioned they had high prices. So she just went out of her way to...what? Call me poor? Weird. Please stop telling people that your cheese and beans are vegan; they are not. And it's not even always vegetarian either because I 100% got meat in mine and if you say you don't use ground meat in your pupusas, then I am even MORE concerned about what was in mine if it wasn't that. No wonder it upset my stomach all day! What the heck kind of meat was that?! You are clearly not a doctor so please don't try to tell me to go to the ER for an upset stomach. When vegetarians (and vegans) consume meat, we end up with a bad upset stomach - often for a full 24 hours or longer. It's like food poisoning to us. And I got it from your pupusas. She says: "We never said we are vegetarian connoisseurs." LOL lady, you're not even pupusa connoisseurs! I do agree with her on one thing though: Las Ploras pupusas "are not meant for everyone". I would keep that in mind the next time you're looking for good pupusas.

I really wish I had read the reviews before coming here because my experience with customer service…read morewas very disappointing. My husband and I came in and the first thing we noticed was how incredibly hot it was inside the restaurant. The older lady at the front was very nice and took our order. I ordered a torta and forgot to mention that I didn't want beans. That's completely my fault. After sitting down for a while, I suddenly remembered and immediately went back to the register. There was another older lady with glasses working the front. I politely said, "Oh my gosh, ma'am, I'm so sorry. I forgot to ask for no beans. Does the torta come with beans?" She said yes. I apologized again and asked if there was any way they could remove the beans or simply change the bread. Her response was, "No, it's already done. You should have thought about that when you first ordered the torta." I again admitted that it was my mistake and that it had simply slipped my mind, and I asked if there was anything they could do. She said no and told me that if I wanted a torta without beans, I would have to pay for an entirely new one. I understand that I made the mistake, but the issue wasn't the beans, it was the attitude and lack of customer service. I work in the food and restaurant industry myself, and if a customer came to me and said they accidentally forgot to mention something on their order, I would do everything I could to make it right because that's how customer service should be handled. I love my customers, want them to return, and want them to leave happy and share positive experiences. The pupusas were absolutely delicious, but customer service is top-tier for me, and because of this experience, I will definitely not be returning. It seemed like this employee simply didn't care about the customer experience, and unfortunately, that's how businesses lose customers. I hope management addresses this issue because the lady with glasses either needs additional customer service training or needs to change the way she treats customers. A little kindness and understanding go a long way. Also, my boyfriend is a content creator and was recording our experience, so this interaction will likely be featured on his YouTube channel as well. Great food can bring people in once, but great customer service is what brings them back.

They have a surcharge for credit card so we paid cash but still came out to over $30 for one Pupusa Loca and an horchata. The cashier explained the Pupusa Loca was a lot more bc it included all the meats, including shrimp. Of course, NO SHRIMP inside. Nada. Not even an errant shrimp tail to be found. Just a glorified quesadilla tbh. More cheese than anything else inside. Though the shell was crisp and delicious, it wasn't worth $20-25 for fried masa. More insulting was they went out of their way to ask if we'd like our horchata now or when the pupusa was ready. I opted for now. No other customers around but us and our baby waiting without shade in the summer heat. My bro politely waited for them before asking if we could get our drink now. Then they hand us two horchatas by mistake and snatch the extra away instead of just giving it to us for waiting with our baby who is yelling, "Cha cha, cha chaaa!!" Cold blooded. The horchata was one of the worst I've ever had. Just sugar water. No cinnamon, no rice, no love. Pretty much sums up what they are about.
