Recently it seems no matter what I search...Tito's Market appears. A friend of a friend said Tito's empanadas were the best. She liked them better than the ones from Lord Empanadas. Since I recently sampled Lord Empanadas, I decided I would check out the empanadas from Tito's. There are 3 types of empanadas. Beef, Chicken and Cheese. We ordered one of each. The beef and chicken tasted a bit sweet for my taste. The cheese was my favorite, but I did add salsa for flavor. The empanadas are filled generously. Overall, I felt the empanadas were okay. Unfortunately, nothing with the "wow" factor either. Would I go back...most likely not. The cashier that assisted us had a bit of attitude. My family has been eating at Tito's market for many years and let's just say their beef empanadas have changed, and not for the better. We always order a dozen to take home, and it used to be juicy and filling... that changed. We call them meat pies now. The meat itself is dry, still has its taste, but there's nothing else in it except a green olive and specks of "egg." We are saddened by it because it used to be a go to and something we always looked forward to. Sandwiches and everything else are probably alright still, though, so I cannot say everything is lower in quality now since we usually don't go there for anything else. It makes me sad to do this, but we will probably get empanadas elsewhere from now on. read more

Came here to try the Argentinian empanadas and steak sandwich, the steak sand which was a bit dry and over priced, the empanadas were good, the bread on them is sweet i got beef and chicken, the chicken taste better than the beef IMO. Sometimes a little chewy but tasty and good. The sons run Tito's market (was their dad who orig started it) and have kept the tradition of the Argentine market alive and well. They only have chicken and beef empanadas, I got 4 beef ones and they were yummy. The ground beef and a single green olive fills the cavity without some weird air pocket of nothingness. It is not really flaky like other places I've been to, theirs is more of a doughy texture. I also got a small but tasty adobado de puerco ($6.49), bit spicy with the chopped chilis. Have only been to Tito's twice and their sandwiches are delicious. IMO, you have to have it with the chili sauce because it adds the magic. I've ordered the filet mignon and ribeye sandwiches- large of course - and they were both delicious. If I had to choose between the two however, I would definitely choose the ribeye which was way more tasty. Gotta have the seasoned fries too that is sold by the pound and definitely worth it. I tried the empanadas (beef) many were buying them by the dozen. They weren't my cup of tea (filling too sweet) but they were still good. Buy online and pick up inside to the left in a much shorter line. You can't order fries online but if you order your sandwich, they will let you get the fries and pay right there (same line). I ordered a 6 inch pastrami sandwich for $4.99. I was impressed with the pastrami ratio. The portions are great! I then ordered two empanadas, one chicken and one beef. ($2.09 per empanada)The beef empanadas contain beef, olives and what appears to be pieces of boiled egg. Again, the portions of meat are great and the empanadas were delicious. Overall, great food. Grossly overrated. The empanadas were too doughy. It's rare that I eat all of the filling, but not the crust. I mean, these are empanadas not pizza. The filling itself (I tried the beef) was decent. Lots of beef, a whole olive, and some hard boiled egg. Prices have gone up to $1.89 each. Not outrageous, but I would not call them a bargain. I also tried the Lomo de Res sandwich. I was really hoping to love this restaurant, but I thought it was just ok. The fillings of the empanadas were nicely flavored but I wasn't a big fan of the breading. It was too thick for my liking (maybe they are supposed to be that way?) In addition to the empanadas, we also tried their rib eye sandwich and milanesa sandwich. Again, I didn't like the bread. However, the ribeye was delicious! I didn't like the breaded steak one at all. The beef ribs were pretty good. The pork ribs tasted like regular bbq pork...nothing special. I liked their chicken wings. It was slightly sweet. Maybe they would have tasted a lot better if they were from a fresh batch. I like my fried chicken wings crispy! Interestingly, fries and wings are sold by the pound. Prices were decent. Customer service was pretty good and prompt. We got lucky and didn't really have to wait in line.
