Solid Mexican food, pretty typical for the area. We went because they sent a coupon in the mail and we figured that was a good excuse to give them a try. Plenty of parking, not crowded at dinner time. Service was friendly. We had to ask for chips and salsa. We had the fajitas and a burrito. Portions were good sized. Near our house and always very good, Tito's has become our go to Mexican restaurant when we're in the mood for "classic" American/Mexican food. Margaritas are tasty, queso is wonderful, and the food is always well prepared and serve promptly by an attentive staff. The variety isn't all that great but we know what we're going to get and we always enjoy it. And the highway 100 location has outdoor seating which is great on a spring or summer evening to enjoy the outdoors while sipping a margarita. read more

My family has been coming here regularly since they opened a few years ago and we enjoy this Mexican restaurant more than all of the many others that are in the Bellevue area of Nashville. I love the way they prepare their chile rellenos and absolutely love their spicy steak burrito. They have a large variety of sauces that you can order in addition to what comes to your table with chips and a lot of those are really good and have different spice levels. I think they're margaritas are one of the best in the area and they have a variety of those as well. They even do a tequila flight so you can try different tequilas. You may not have enjoyed before. My two small kids love this place and adore some of the staff that have been there since they've opened. read more

We have fallen in love with the Chori Pollo dish and the Horchata. We returned for a second Sunday and added the Creamy Shrimp to our menu. We always call and ordered ahead for pickup to go. This last time while I was waiting for my order to be ready, I saw them turn away groups of people because the wait would be around an hour. The sad part is there were plenty of tables available, but clearly they must not have had either the wait or kitchen staff to keep up. It was bustling nonetheless, but it's sad that they couldn't serve all who came through their doors. It's a very popular place and for good reason! We returned to dine in person and brought a friend. I was in the area and decided to check Yelp for Mexican food. Tito's looked like it was at the top of the list and stood out above the rest. So I decided to try it. I walked in and they said I could either sit in a high top or wait 10-15 minutes. I opted to wait the 15 minutes. I was finally seated near to the bar in a booth. The booth was comfy and clean. The interior was nice and it was a Friday night so there was a sizable crowd dining. The pictures and selection of margaritas and similar drinks looked very good. I was almost tempted to try one of those but decided to have a beer instead. Already off to a bad start, it took about ten minutes for anyone to acknowledge me after I was seated. Someone who isn't a server placed chips and salsa on the table but nothing else. I started munching on these - the salsa is very good. Just the right amount of Cilantro. When someone finally came they asked what I wanted to drink. I told them water and a Modelo. After checking my ID, she walked off. Several minutes later (this will be an ongoing pattern) she returned with my water only, and took my order. I ordered the Carne Asada with corn tortillas. I continued to munch on the chips and salsa. I got some salsa all over my chin and just now realized I never was given any silverware or napkins. I had to stop another server and ask for those items. This second server happily got them for me. Still beer-less, I ate all the chips. The beer finally arrived literally two minutes before the food. (it took a good 20 minutes). No tortillas were delivered until I had specifically asked for them. Now onto the issues with the food: The carne asada was not what you expect in an asada. Something was off with the flavor. It may be seasoning or what I don't know. But I was not a fan. The Pico, consisted of tomatoes, onion, and cilantro. I could not taste any salt, or lime, and there were no visible Serrano or Jalapeño in the pico at all. So the pico had a sweet flavor. The rice was also an off flavor. Not the flavorful garlic, or tangy taste I come to expect with Spanish rice. The beans were very loose and soupy. So much so they spread out a big portion of the plate (sorry I didn't get a photo). But they spread out and were very thin all over the plate. I asked for a to go container and I packed the food I couldn't eat. So a plus side is the amount of food they do give you with the entree. Server asked if I wanted dessert and I said yes. I got the Lemon icebox pie. Minutes later she delivered it - with the dirty plates from dinner still on my table and no other silverware. I asked if she could bring a "fork" so I could eat the dessert. She left again. Many minutes later she came back and dropped a spoon on the table next to the dessert. I didn't press the issue. I don't dock anything from her because servers get the worst treatment, but the long periods of time I waited, the food quality, and the forgetting of items I asked for, make me not want to visit this location again. I was in the area, but will look elsewhere next time I am there. Always be skeptical of reviews and even pictures online. I saw this place and the reviews and pictures motivated me to choose them over other Mexican places nearby. Now I know. read more

Dropped by on a rainy Sunday cause Yelp ratings of all others in the area were abysmal. Did not regret it. My husband loves horchata so he was super happy to see that on the menu. The salsa was great, just the right amount of chunkiness and cilantro for me. I ordered a fajita salad and was so disappointed when it came with just chicken. Thankfully my husband ordered the Fajitas so I stole his veggies and added my side of black beans. His fajitas were huge, hot and delicious. Tito's is a great Mexican restaurant. We got there around 11:30 and there was plenty of room on a Friday for lunch. The employees were all wearing mask and asked for you to wear a mask until you were served with chips and drink which took maybe 30 seconds upon being seated. They have a good sized lunch menu with lots of different options. I got the Huevos Rancheros which was 3 fried eggs in a ranchero sauce served with tortillas, rice, and beans. The ranchero sauce needed a little kick for my taste so I also ordered some homemade hot sauce that was made with habaneros and it was a wonderful flavor. The homemade tortillas were the absolute best. If they make their menu items with these flour tortillas I couldn't see how anything would be bad. They are very delicious. The rice and beans were good as well. The cheese dip was perfect consistency, not too thick not too thin. Chips were freshly made and served warm with salt and the salsa had a great flavor to it. My sister ordered Lunch #1 which had a beef hard taco, and a chili rellono and the chili rellono was lightly bartered in egg whites and fried with a cheese filling. She said the hard taco shell was amazing and see freshly made and very crisp and perfect. Overall the service was great, the restaurant was very clean, employees were very kind and friendly. For a lunch special, drink, and split cheese dip it was $16 before tip. Which was well worth the money. read more

Nestled in the heart of Bellevue TN, in a great location, this place is one of the best choices for mexican food in the greater nashville area. The food is unrivaled! I ordered the Titos special with steak instead of chicken; the ratio of rice to steak was perfect with queso drizzled on top. The manager Marco is absolutley the best! He is constantly walking around making sure you are being taken care of and are getting the service you deserve. Tito's in Bellevue just opened with a few weeks of soft openings. We were greeted about 4 times. Salsa is very good. However when asked for anything - it went on deaf ears. Disappointing. The kinks need to be worked out. It was Covid with masks to table then off. Food was not memorable - we had fajitas salads with the protein hidden at the bottom. Salsa was the best part of the meal. I am mixed on this one, but I am going to err on the positive side, at least until I get a second chance to try and see if things are better after they have a chance to get everything in order. I will determine adjustment up or down based on a second try later on. Atmosphere: Nicely redone. Nacho's, the previous inhabitant, appeared a bit cheap. If it were a warmer day, the patio would be a nice place to sit and have a meal. It must have been the crowd, but there were actually a few people crazy enough to sit on the patio last night (some visibly shaking). Service: Very accommodating. I like places that train to pay attention to all tables, including those outside their section. In an age where empty glasses are the norm, rather than the exception, it is nice to go to a place that feels service is important. Margaritas: We tried the Tito's margarita, which is a bit more top shelf. I really enjoyed the pitcher, er glass, we each had. The splash of orange juice adds a nice touch. Food: This is the mixed part. I appreciated the salsa. Very fresh and chunky. Reminded me of a mix between salsa and pico. The cheese dip was fairly standard, perhaps a bit runnier, but a good start. I thought about the bean dip, but l may not have enjoyed it as much - this will be evident in a second. I order the sopes, which is a nice variation of the "normal" Mexican you find around the Bellevue area. My wife ordered the Special Pueblo burrito. They messed up her burritos and did 2 chicken rather than one of each. No real issue here, as she loves chicken. The Sopes were a bit salty. With a thick soft corn base, the salt was not overpowering. The refried beans on my wife's plate were far saltier, almost like a slightly bean flavored salt lick. A bit too much in the rice, as well, although not quite as bad as the beans. Long term, if they can get the salt story under control, I think this will be a fine restaurant. Nice atmosphere, friendly staff who are very accommodating, and great margaritas. Get the food on point and definitely two thumbs up. read more

This is THE best Tito's! There are a few Tito's in Nashville and Franklin area this is by far the best. Food is high quality and very consistent. Service is extremely friendly and fast! Margs are top notch, great value too. My go to is the shrimp tacos: lots of juicy shrimp, fresh avocado and cabbage, under $10 for 2 of them and they're delicious with generous portions. We have been coming to this Tito's for over a year every Friday and the Bellevue Tito's crew feels like our family! They take great care of us and they will you as well. read more

After reading the reviews, seeing the accolades and buying into the buzz, I will say that we were very disappointed with our recent trip to Tito's. Tito's is an award winning, local Mexican spot with several locations around the Nashville metro area with this particular location sitting alongside Publix in the large shopping plaza on Highway 100 in Bellevue. We have a go-to Mexican spot over by us on Charlotte Pike, but we wanted to try something different and ended up at Tito's on a Thursday evening for dinner. We arrived at 7:00 PM on Thursday evening and the place was busy, but not packed and they seemed to be well staffed as we saw 5 or 6 waiters cruising around the dining room plus there were 2 bartenders at the bar...so we felt good about our choice at first glance. Well, sadly this turned quickly as service was absolutely horrid from start to finish. We were sat at a high-top in the bar area and it took our server close to 5 minutes to come see us. At first visit, we could tell she was irritated they had sat us in her section and instead of making it known to the host, she made it known to us. For the rest of our meal, she was pretty sparse in interactions with us. Twice during our meal I had to get up and find someone else to assist with refills and my missing tortillas. Normally we are very forgiving with service issues given today's staffing concerns, but this was not due to staffing as there were a lot of people working, hanging out with each other at tables and behind the bar...this was just bad service and it was frustrating and disappointing, and the main reason we will stick with our go-to Mexican spot from now on. The food was okay, nothing special, especially for the elevated prices. One of us got the Pollo Popeye, which was grilled chicken topped with spinach, pico and queso...sadly it was light on the spinach. I personally got the Chile Colorado, which is where the missing tortillas come into play from above. Outside of the missing tortillas, which I did not receive for several minutes after my food was delivered and finally only got once I went to the bar and asked if someone could help...the steak was tough and way overcooked. The red sauce was excellent and I will say that the homemade tortillas, once received, were a treat. The place is very nicely decorated and laid out, plus it is in great condition and clean. I did enjoy the open tortilla making area, it was cool to see them in action and to see the process from start to table. Overall, a wildly disappointing trip to Tito's. As mentioned above, we will remain loyal to our other local Mexican spot. read more

No bartender or manager in sight, we work in the industry too here in Nashville on Broadway at hotels and big bars, so this is so just upsetting, a good day ruined by a very unprofessional worker and manager isn't even in sight! I t was great the very first time! The second, I ordered queso fundido which they pour Bacardi 151 on top and then light on fire to make the cheese all gooey and melty. He poured the 151 on top and then served it.... I asked him if he were going to finish and he was just confused... cheese dip with raw Bacardi 151 on top... grossss. I received a very nice explanation from manager as too why it was so challenging last week. Clearly they continue to have staffing issues. I feel bad for them and for our food server. He had tables all over the restaurant. I counted seven tables he was serving. He looked dishelved but was trying so hard. Drinks went without refill, we had to ask someone to get us our drinks. Might suggest serving waters with chips and salsa. People will wait more patiently. Food quality was ok. Did not see a manager on the floor helping out during our nearly hour and fifteen minute visit. Food time was 20 minutes and my daughter said the Chicken Fajita Quesadilla, "slapped". read more

My wife and I had never been to Tito's and decided to stop one day for lunch. The environment was great very up beat and the staff was great! I had a fajita taco salad and my wife had steak, chicken and shrimp fajitas. We shared our meals so we could try both. I also had "Tito's Margarita" awesome!
