The Ultimate Frito Pie
Rakshak R.

great food- the frito pie was great, burger could have used some sort of sauce/aioli, the cake could have been just a little more moist. However, the food was still exceptional and the service was top tier. highly recommend to those wanting to experience fine plant based dining! Ambiance has a nice style, the interior is a bit small but seating is relatively spaced out. edit- tried the lasagna and the arrabatia pasta. Felt both of these dishes were pretty bland but the presentation was nice. Do not know if it is worth the price however.

Ambience is good ingredients all fresh and made in house. The feta cheese is amazing and house made ice creams are great. We had the 4 course tasting menu for $50 pp + there was also a 6 course tasting for $90 and you can pair with wine for $35 they should also offer a non alcoholic pairing that would be fun too!

Finally got a chance to try this new vegan restaurant with a couple of my girlfriends, one of which is vegan. She is like me and is very particular about her food. So, I knew I'd she recommended it, it's gotta be good. Upon arriving, the restaurant gives a nice, comfy and relaxed vibe. The place isn't very large. So, considering the number of folks eating, I'd recommend making reservations to secure your spot. We started with the Crispy Brussels Sprouts and Pineapple. The Brussels Sprouts were delicious and perfectly crispy. Loved the flavor. Pineapple was a bit of a shocker and took me a minute to get used to it. For my main course, I ordered Fried TLC Chick'N Sandwich with Sweet Potato Fries. I am NOT a mushroom fan. At all. So, ordering a sandwich made with oyster mushrooms was me venturing out of my comfort zone and being adventurous. I must say I was pleasantly impressed with the flavor and texture! There wasn't an overwhelming mushroom flavor or texture to it, which was perfect. The sweet potato fries were addicting for sure. Overall, we enjoyed ourselves and the food. I definitely plan on going again. My BFF is vegan, and I'm going to take her here for dinner one night. I know she would just love it. My only problem, and it's a good problem to have, is that everything on the menu sounds so good that I want a sampler platter to try it all!

This is possibly the best vegan spot in the Dallas area. Or at least on of my top places! Everything is good, as you can see I went for dinner and brunch. The peach cobbler was the best I've ever had. The chef is great! Tastes like every meal is made with love and comfort. 10/10 recommend and will be back

Our server Zach was very friendly and kind. Nice ambiance cute for brunch or date. Food was good but too oily for my preference. The biscuits were 10/10! I can't-wait to try other dishes here.

More than the food I was extremely impressed by the service! They truly take the time to get to know what you are looking for and make amazing suggestions! I even got a free dessert because they took a bit too long in getting our food out. The food was not my favorite. Even though they have a wide variety of options the ones I tried were a bit bland. I have been back to try the lasagna and did not like it that much either. Was kinda disappointed as I really hoped that I would love this place! I would still recommend you check this place out and try smth new !

The food here is so good. You can tell how much care and knowledge that Chef Troy Gardner puts into the menu and each item offered. We had: -Crispy Brussels Sprouts and Pineapples -Dinner Salad -Chef Troy's B.L.A.C (Bacon, Lettuce, Avo, Tindle Chicken) *Pictured -Broccoli and Quinoa Salad -Chilli Cheese Brat & Fries EVERYTHING we had was absolutely amazing. If you aren't in the area, make the trip. Sooo worth it!! Some of the best Vegan food in DFW!

First time trying vegan food in all 40 years of my life, and let me tell you... This place is amazing. All my life I've been a meat lovers kinda gal. If the dish didn't include a meat, then it was best served as an appetizer. We ordered the truffle fries, the TLC basket, shared the TLC crispy chicken dinner and found room for dessert. Every single thing was delicious and not once did I think "man, I wish I was eating meat". If it's your first time trying vegan dishes, I highly recommend this place. We received fantastic service from Key on a Sunday night. I can't wait to go back for brunch. Reservations are encouraged.

On Friday evening, a friend and I wanted to try this spot as we had heard great things. I ordered Frito Chili Pie as I had been craving one for a few weeks and hadn't made it. It was excellent. If no one would have told me, I never would have thought it was vegan. My friend ordered fried mushrooms. I do not like mushrooms, but I tried it since she offered. It did not taste like mushrooms and it had a really good flavor. The server was well versed in the menu and was very polite. I will be back to try other items.

This is a nice, cozy little vegan spot in Richardson. It's a small place so there weren't many people there. Customer service was great. Here's why I only gave 3 stars. I ordered the nachos which upon first look, it appears that it is a pretty good serving. I will admit that I was not able to eat it all but once I was done with the top layer, there wasn't any of the toppings. Mostly only chips. As far as taste, it was ok. One more thing is that it would be great if they offered half portions on the shareable items for individuals that may be dining alone. But I would definitely go again and try something else.

As always, this is my go to feel good food whenever I'm in town! Great service by Ki! Makes us feel welcome and appreciated. Charcuterie has the best "Brie" I've ever tasted.

I began with the hot pistachio latte and the Arabic iced coffee latte. As someone who appreciates the delicate art of seasoning, particularly with cardamom, I found the balance in these drinks remarkable. The spice was subtle yet distinct, enhancing the flavor rather than overwhelming it. For dessert, we debated between the Ferrero dark chocolate cheesecake and the pistachio baklava cheesecake. In the end, I couldn't resist trying both--and I'm glad I did. Each dessert was beautifully presented and irresistibly inviting. Both cheesecakes were creamy, perfectly balanced in sweetness, and absolutely delightful. The ambiance was ideal for relaxing conversation over coffee. The music played at just the right volume, and the décor was elegant and thoughtfully designed. It created a warm, inviting atmosphere that offered a pleasant escape from the unassuming parking lot outside. With a full lunch menu and a tempting selection of gelato, this café is well worth a visit if you're in the area.

They also told us upfront to leave our dishes at the tables after eating for them to clean up afterwards. I ordered a gyudon with raw egg yolk for myself and a loaded fries to share. The food took awhile to come out - felt like 10-15 mins. It was a good amount of food. The food was very tasty. One of my coworkers got a katsu curry - he said it was good. Trisha took my order and was super awesome at making many great recommendations while Miriam cranked the beverages for the people ahead of me. Loved the GF option for an almond loaf. This reminds me of a wonderful home cafe mixed with a nice southern coffee shop. They even have seating outside for a beautiful day like the day I went. Very Austin vibes. Seating options are from regular wood bench to a cozy couch. Loved the live plants that add fresh air and a nice atmosphere. They had low playing music that was very urban so you can carry a conversation while supporting smaller artists and working on work. Headphones if you'd like your own music would be great and wouldn't be interrupted with the music playing in the shop. Biscoff caramel latte: Wonderful flavor of coffee. I was fearful it'd be too sweet but it was perfectly sweetened. The Biscoff crumbles add the Biscoff flavor and the caramel isn't overpowering. It's a soft balance of the two together. The foam was pleasant and would recommend hot. Personally would love a stronger Biscoff flavor cause Biscoff is my favorite cracker. But other than that, a super solid beverage. Almond Loaf (GF): The crumble and moist texture were perfect. Not too crazy of a GF taste. Different but wonderful. The top has a crumble similar to Almond croissant that is so satisfying if you're craving a lil more sweet with your bite. Together: Wonderful together. The almond loaf isn't dense but it doesn't completely fall apart either. Super happy.
