Really hard give 2 stars for this dental office, their front desk employee is really mean, every time if you want to ask a question about their charge, their first reaction is something wrong with your questions. They never answer questions directly, always tried to push you away to ask either insurance company or yourself. For doctor Meng, I can't tell more about his skill, just wondering why the filling material in my teeth gets dark soon in half year? I did not change the daily routine of coffee or tea in this year. I was tried to ask the same question to the doctor, you can imagine his answer is that cause by drink too much coffee or tea. read more

I really do love our dentist! He's awesome. We were referred by a friend who had a terrific experience with Dr. Meng. And I must say, ours has been good as well. I've had two cleanings so far, and they've both been excellent. Beautiful office, kind staff, up to date x-ray technology and affordable pricing. Today, Dr. Meng helped me with some dental pain; this is twice now that he's offered helpful, reasonable solutions that don't involve a ton of unnecessary dental work. I went to this place because one of my friends recommended who has been going this place for several years. But they end up charged twice as much as what they told me before the service. Even though in the middle of service, when doctor said lets take a X-ray. I asked the doctor whether there is extra charge for X-ray. Doctor said no, insurance will cover it. That's why I agreed to do it. But in the end, the front desk still charged me the fee for X-ray and a twenty more dollars checking fee which I did not know this fee at the first place. And she did not give me a formal receipt with details. Just a handwriting one with a total amount on it. I probably will still go this place but I hope they could list all the detail charges and how much insurance will cover at the beginning. And get my agreement before I start the service. read more

I've been coming here since Dr. Meng opened his in 2009. He is extremely customer friendly and his staff even though changes I believe he does his best to teach. The atmosphere is very soothing. His classical music calms me and Dr..Meng is mindful with my pain ridiculouness. I hate pain, so numbness for me is delightful. The only bad experience we had was when two of my children got their wisdom teeth pulled. Both kids mouths were swallon like orangutan cheeks...lol.. but who wouldn't be in pain after that. The facility is new and nice but be careful with Dr. Meng. I spoke to him before my kid was treated and he said he was going to charge me a specific amount per cavity. Then, when my kid was already with the anesthesia and he had already started the procedure, he said: it would be another more expensive amount of money (3 times more than what he had told me). He knew already the type of cavity my kid had because of the X-Ray, but he pretended he did not know how deep it was. I did not have another choice than say "ok". Despite being far from my house, my husband and I still go there. Dr Meng is really a good dentist . His fees are very reasonable and he will work with you . He is honest and won't do unnecessary procedures to get the insurance pay like some dentists. The only warning is to make sure arrive alittle early since his office is downtown across from the courthouse so you'll have to park in the parking structure and then walk to his office but they do validate so you don't have to pay for parking read more

This facility is very new. It's nice, clean, and up to date. The staff is super friendly. Dr. Meng is very knowledgable, professional, patient, and willing to work with you to make sure you are well informed. Dr Tommy is very nice and he will take really good care of your teeth! It's also very kids friendly. I bought my 7 year old son here and he gets to watch Netflix cartoon on tv. Worst dental experience in my life, literally! I scheduled my first appointment there for a teeth cleaning and all the dentist did was scrape a little plaque off for two minutes, showed and told me what cavities had to be fixed and that my bridge needed to be cut (first out of many good dentists to tell me this after 10 years) and his prices, and then had his inexperienced assistant literally floss my teeth (just as I had done that morning) whereafter she basically lightly brushed my teeth for three minutes! It was a total waste of money and I ended up going back to my old dentist a week later to get my teeth cleaned properly because they even felt as unclean as when I went here. Do not be fooled by the appearance of their office. I didn't even get what I paid for. I left dumbfounded and literally had to process for days how I had essentially been robbed! read more

Dr Meng and his team have been taking care of my Family and I, for several years. I visited the dentist when he was located in santa ana by 4th street back in 2013 if im not wrong. I really liked the service. I just visited the dentist at their new location in irvine on September 25th for a molar stract. We discussed about fixing it or stract it. I took the cheap way " stract". He tried different tools and i felt he was putting too much pressure in different angles. The dentist couldn't take the molar in one piece so he used an electric tool to brake it and get it out in pieces. I went home and the pain was getting worse and i was taking pain killer for 7 days. I had a feeling that there must be something wrong. I felt something sharp all the way back and i pulled it out and i thought there was a piece of the molar stucked in there. I was shocked!! So the next the day i scheduled an appointment. An x-ray was done and the dentist said there was no pieces of the molar there. However the bone was fractured!!! I was shocked. He said he had to open the wound and scrape the bone to make it smooth. He did it and he took out a piece of bone of almost a 1/4". I got stitches as well. I just couldn't believe that i was going through that. I never even expected this, i never saw this coming. It's obviously that if you put too much pressure or too much force more damage it can be caused. This is a total negligence!! Today October the 5th i had to miss work due to this procedure.
