I texted Ningma on Wednesday requesting an appointment on Thursday and she responded in minutes that she had an opening on Thursday at 12:05pm. When I arrived expecting to have my eyebrows waxed, Ningma informed me that threading would be best. I informed her that I've never had threading done before and was a little scared. She assured me that she will be as gentle as possible and not to worry. She was absolutely right. She was very gentle and I did not feel any discomfort during the threading. It was a lot better than waxing. She has very good hands and made the process so easy and pain free. I'll never wax my eyebrows ever again. Her studio is very clean and private. However, I decided to play with getting the idea of just getting the under arch waxed and the top tweezed in hopes of not breaking out. I reached out to Evelyn to see if this was an option and she agreed to do so with the disclaimer that they may not look as polished as they would with wax which was a risk I was willing to take.
