Suchhh a fun spot! I came with two friends and we tried a little bit of everything on their menu. Our collective favorite dish had to be the butter chicken wings (flavorful with slight sweetness & very meaty). I also really enjoyed the Ahi Tuna Tostada (light, refreshing, zesty & fresh) along with the oyster mushroom bao buns (earthy, herby, and juicy). For drinks, my favorite was the Beullubeli which featured vodka, blueberry syrup, fresh lemon and elderflower. My friends said the Ube Esperesso Martini was excellent. It was indeed very creamy when I tried it. To end the meal we had three desserts. The strawberry cake was airy with a layer of strawberry mouse, the chocolate lava cake was very sweet but paired well with the ice cream, and the chocolate mousse was a salty and sweet flavor. All of them were on the sweeter side. The service was excellent, very attentive and easy to talk to! I loved the ambience. Slightly upper scale, great for a date but also for a casual dinner or brunch with friends or family.

Salmon I was given instead of the smoked salmon toast I asked for

The Ambiance was pretty good. The restaurant was designed nicely and the atmosphere was good. Although my salad was soggy, the food was okay, but it wasn't what I asked for . I told the server I wanted the Smoked Salmon Toast, but asked if I could replace the poached egg on top with something else like some avocado. She said it could be done and read my order back to me to confirm. She end up coming out and giving me an avocado toast instead. I asked whether there was salmon under it because I was confused but she thought I asked her to replace the salmon with the avocado. As a result I asked if I could just get a plate of smoked salmon on the side. Guess what she brought out. A plate of GRILLED salmon . At that point I just felt bad and stopped asking. She was nice and left the grilled salmon off my tab for the mistake she made which was really considerate of her though. I'm not gonna lie though, a restaurant who tries to look more high end should have better service. At the beginning of the meal the waitress asked me if I wanted tap, still or sparkling, and my friend asked what still water was. She told him it was just tap water but refrigerated. Debatable. The higher prices of the food are definitely a result of the ambiance they try to market, but the service needs to keep up.

Tried Toast & Tonique and it did not disappoint! Everything we tried looked and tasted good-- huevos rancheros, garden skillet, and tiramisu French toast. I'll be back to try more! Our server was really sweet and attentive and it just added to the experience. The strip mall it's located in is kinda sad looking- ignore it. Because once you enter the vibe completely changes.

Love the interior- kinda seems like an upscale sports bar. My wife appreciated that the World Cup was on when we ate there. Lots of tv around. Food is mid, sadly. We almost love getting pork belly buns everywhere that offers them, but this one was just not iT. Very flat, sweet tasting. The butter chicken was not bad, specially with the salsa on the side. The rice was very tasty. The flatbread kinda tastes like a microwavable one. The servers were very attentive though! Lots of potential, hopefully it gets better.

IG reel for this business was definitely effective since it got me and a friend to go here. The place was disappointing. Altho the ambiance is good, inside is spacious, the service needs improvement. Ordered coffee. Coffee was pretty bad. I think if you're offering brunch meal, you should have good coffee. It tasted like 7-11 coffee is better than this place. Curry omelette was eh. Steak and eggs was not good. We ordered medium rare and we got well done. The steak cut isn't really steak. I think if they up the price and serve good steaks, it's going to be better. Honestly not sure if we want to come back

Had the joo-ya skillet, birria skillet, and an ube martini all solid. Our ube martinis came out really strong at first, but Joy noticed and made sure it was fixed up so it tasted just right. That's the kind of thing that tells you someone actually cares about your experience, not just taking orders. Honestly though, I keep thinking about the service more than the food. Our server Joy was warm and attentive without hovering, gave good recommendations, checked in at the right times. Made the whole night feel easy. Ask for Joy if you go. She made the meal.

Had heard many wonderful things about TOAST & TONIQUE; it's the weekend and didn't have breakfast yet, finally made it to brunch, was pleasantly surprised. Where to begin? Located inside a very busy plaza; parking is free as there is a huge parking lot was available but very busy and crowded. Upon entering, I noticed that the waiting area is quite spacious. Lovely ambience, very chic! Seating is available while you check in and wait for a table. As we were a party of two and we didn't have a reservation, the hostess at the front desk informed me that the wait time is about 20 mins or I can be seated very soon if I choose bar seating. So, we chose bar seating and we were seated immediately. We were greeted immediately while seated at the bar and we ordered drinks and entrees. As it's brunch, menu for brunch was available. For the drinks, we had chose the cappuccino and chai tea and for the entrees, we chose the chocolate pancakes and steak & eggs. Our drinks were ready within five minutes and our entrees were brought to us about fifteen minutes later. Was a little disappointed in the drinks; the chai was very watered down and bland, tasted very watered down. Didn't finish the drink. Portions for our entrees, however, were decent sized and it was good. The staff is very kind and did check in on us, very patient and friendly. I would definitely return in the future; very open to trying something new on the menu. Very clean restaurant. Lovely presentation and quality; the food is good; reasonably priced. Would try a new drink next time. Definitely a hidden gem in Newark, looking forward to my next meal at Toast & Tonique!

What I had was good. I got the Birria Skillet. I killed it. Warm cheesy, crispy potatos. The chocolate pancakes were disappointing. Was more coconut, due to the shaved coconut on top, than chocolate. Something about the water. It didn't taste good or it was my glass, smelled like wet rag. This place has a ton of TVs. So if you want to watch sports this would be a decent place. A bit dark inside. Our sever was friendly, but nothing stood out as amazing. I won't be back

The plan was to stop by for happy hour, but we arrived too late, so we ended up having an early dinner instead. What we ordered: * Loco Moco ($20.99) - The portion was not so generous, and there was a bit too much moco sauce for my liking, and the beef patty was on the dry side. * Bombay Sliders ($19.99) - This wasn't really my favorite. The lamb made it a little pricier, and the spices were stronger than I expected. * Teriyaki Burger ($18.99, to-go) - My son tried this one and described it as "mid." His verdict: In-N-Out is still 100% better. Service: Friendly and attentive staff. Ambiance: Clean, modern, and inviting space with a nice atmosphere. Overall, while the food didn't quite wow us this visit, the excellent service and pleasant ambiance made for an enjoyable dining experience. I'd be interested in coming back to try their happy hour menu next time.

I heard about T&T through Instagram but had no idea they took over Pocha K's spot. Fun memories singing karaoke in the large room they had there. This new place raises a few eyebrows due to its fusion of not only Asian & Mexican but also Indian! Pretty cool but did they deliver? We made it on time for Sunday Happy Hour! The HH menu says it ends at 6pm and I arrived at my friends' table with 3 minutes to spare. Antonio was our attentive waiter and he put in our drink + appetizer order right on time. HH Eats: 6pc Butter Chicken Wings Street Corn Cajun Garlic Fries Aperol Spritz x2 Regular Menu Eats: Strawberry Lemonade Loaded Tots Loco Moco Oyster Mushroom Bao Buns Fish & Chips Chocolate Lava Cake Drinks came out quickly. Definite heavy pours of prosecco for the spritz. Waters were refilled frequently. Antonio took care of the group! From the mouthwatering scent of butter chicken alone, I knew I'd like the flavor of the wings. It's more on the sweet side so more fusion for sure. Comes with creamy cabbage slaw. Six wings for six dollars!! Check the menu for normal pricing. HH will be your best friend. Street corn was solid! Fries had actual sautéed minced garlic. Nice touch. Tots were topped with avocado and melted shredded cheese. Oyster mushrooms were meaty with a grilled char flavor. I had a bite of fried fish-- huge piece! I was super hungry for meat during dinner since my earlier brunch was more vegetarian so I scarfed down the loco moco patty. It was cooked well done. I wonder if most people expect to be asked temperature preference. The gravy was not what I expected. It was more Korean with the same sweet charred flavor as the oyster mushrooms. I wanted the traditional brown gravy. It wasn't bad, just not my preference. The rice was saturated with sauce and a tad undercooked. Maybe fluff up the rice a bit and use a bowl to shape it before crowning it with the patty, eggs, and gravy. Eggs were nice and runny! No complaints about them. Chocolate lava cake ended the meal on the sweetness note. Soft and moist chocolate cake with a hot melted center oozing out with each spoonful. Cool vanilla ice cream and fresh strawberries rounded it out. Sophisticated, modern interior with wooden accents and cool light decor. I like the sign that says "according to chemistry, alcohol is a solution" haha. I will come back with more friends for HH and/or brunch!

I went here to celebrate my birthday and the overall vibe was great! The whole place is definitely a vibe and the employees are all super nice. I ordered the pork belly bowl and my favorite part about it was honestly the fried rice with it. My family and I agreed that the top foods were definitely the apps like the street corn and tikka flatbread. Overall, great experience but in my option would only come for a night out and special occasions!

My dad and I went here last week and the interior is really cute, parking was easy, tucked in the corner. I ordered a chai latte with banana foam. I was misheard and received a matcha at first, second go I received a dirty chai with no banana foam. Finally on the 3rd try one of the baristas delivered the drink directly to me and it was finally what I ordered. I don't think I'd order the banana foam again from here. I got French toast and my dad got a burrito, the food was good. It is a bit out of the way for us so I'm not sure how often we'd be back, if ever but it's always fun to try new places!

As we have our dog with us all the time and visiting your restaurant for the first time allowed us to have a breakfast date which we haven't been able to do in a while & it was nice to sit down and talk. The staff was incredibly friendly and created a warm, family-oriented atmosphere - I believe we met all of their hosts and even the owner Alex who introduced himself and spoke with us. We truly appreciated being checked on, although the only thing I'd advise is that once your customers get their food and you have asked if everything is OK 1-2 times, to please allow your customers to enjoy the food.. We were approached almost every 2 minutes by different hosts, the owner and another maybe co-owner Fidel - constantly being asked if everything was OK or if we needed more coffee which was asked in total about 8 times (not exaggerating as we were asked by different people lol). We felt as if we were being monitored the entire time and couldn't enjoy our time to eat and talk. Again this is just a feedback & advice to allow your customers to enjoy the food and the company or family they are with. If they are not looking for staff or any help -- Maybe check back every 10 minutes. Otherwise, we appreciate all of your service & kindness, and we will be back soon to try out other dishes from your menu. Thank you!

I've probably ordered that exact combination over a thousand times, and Country Way in Fremont makes it better than anyone. The bacon is thick-cut, generously portioned, and cooked exactly the way I like it--crispy without being burnt. The country fried potatoes were outstanding--crispy and golden on the outside, yet soft and almost creamy on the inside. They're the kind of breakfast potatoes that are so good you end up finishing every last bite. The staff is warm and friendly, making the place feel like a neighborhood institution rather than just another breakfast spot. One thing I also love is the building itself. Country Way is housed in a wonderfully preserved vintage A-frame that feels like a trip back to a different era. Instead of chasing trendy, it embraces its history, and that charm is part of the experience. If you judge a breakfast restaurant by how well it executes the classics, Country Way absolutely nails it. Sometimes simple food, done exceptionally well, is the hardest thing to find
