Saturday afternoon, when we were craving breakfast for lunch, my friend immediately and without hesitation declared "TO THE TOAST!" -- and away we went. The parking situation is a bit complicated-- the main lot in front was full, so you have to continue to the right on S Rapp st, then take an immediate right (there's a small sign that says "additional parking" with an arrow). Even that was nearly full, but I take that as a good sign at a restaurant. There were 5 of us, and we were seated immediately. The waitstaff was friendly, the portions were generous, especially for the reasonable price, and the selection was awesome. If you're looking for a unique, casual meal, you'll be hard-pressed to find a better place than Toast! read more

We met friends here for brunch one Sunday morning. None of us had been here but heard good things. We all agreed it was "just okay". A bit overpriced and limited space to wait for a table. Our server was quite abrupt but when he said he was from Boston it made sense. Lol! I don't think we'll be back unless we're in that area and have no where else to go. I have been using Yelp for years and never written a review but the service I received today was non-existent. My family and I waited to be seated which is usual. Once seated we waited for over 15 minutes without being acknowledged until I decided we had waited enough and walked out. Every table in the immediate vicinity was visited numerous times and we did not even get a, "I'll be with you in a minute". The food at Toast is some of the best that I have had in Littleton. It is close to our house so it is convenient as well. We will NOT return until I know that the Hispanic Rodney Dangerfield is gone. Pretty darn good. It's difficult to be blown away by any breakfast place. How much can one do with eggs? But this place was far from disappointing. I'll be brief; Toast is reasonable, tasty, supplies good service and good food. They also have an interesting lunch menu that I would definitely like to try. OMG! The best breakfast EVER!!!! Although we had a little bit of a wait, as this is a very popular place, it was so worth it. A cute, urban feel upon walking in the food just blew me away. I had the Santa Fe French Toast which had an over-easy egg atop a huge piece of French toast (I'm talking HUGE here people...it covered my whole plate!) smothered in guacamole, sour cream, cheese, green chilies and more! Just had lunch here for the first time and it was great! They have a large menu, which is unfortunate because everything sounds so good! The portions were also a good size for the price! I can't wait to come back to try their pancakes! The service was great but it's very noisy in the inside, at least in the front half of the restaurant. I hate to be a naysayer, but I just wasn't impressed with this place. When I moved to Littleton, I was excited to have a place where I could go with a friend and grab a nice breakfast, but while the interior had a whiff of character, the food was average and the price about knocked me over for something I've averaged half as much in other major metropolitan areas for diner-level breakfast food. For whatever it's worth, I went once, and haven't ever felt the urge to go back. Had the Denver Omelette, which rumor has it is award winning? I coulda made it at home! Nothing stood out to me about the food. Regarding my visit, the service was great. The clientele was on the creepy side (went early on a Sunday) and I think their French Toast is where it's at, which is what I will try next time. Their coffee was delicious! Great location! I grew up near downtown Littleton, so I always get nostalgic when I'm in the area. This location is better then Cherry Creek's and has much more appeal. Great food, good service and offer local Novo coffee. Snaps for that! Try the bananas foster pancakes, berries and cream or Santa Fe stuffed french toast. read more

This is not your ordinary breakfast/brunch place! Everything here is fantastic and very unique. For example, for the corned beef hash they make their own corned beef here. Also if you like French toast or pancakes they have seven different kinds of each. It's always really busy because of its reputation and consistency. Even though they're busy the staff is great. I have eaten here for breakfast 3 times over the last few months. Everything I have tried has been delicious: the Breakfast Burrito, Chai Tea Infused French Toast, and Denver Omelet. In fact, the Breakfast Burrito (with spicy chorizo) was so good, I have had to force myself to order anything else. Next time pancakes! The Novo Coffee (served in oversized coffee mugs) is some of the best for a breakfast place, so much so that I will ask for a refill to go. Toast has a small dining room for its popularity and can be crowded as well as noisy. The noise factor prevents it from being a cozy breakfast joint and is the only reason I rated it 4 stars instead of 5. I have found the service to be good; the waitresses/waiters are easy to flag if necessary. This is one of those places you pay at the register, so if you find yourself waiting for a bill, as I have a couple times, just walk up to the front. read more

We went with a party of six. Despite it being during the busy Sunday brunch time, we were seated pretty quickly. Food was timely delivered after we placed our orders. The server was very attentive, keeping our water and tea glasses filled. Everyone enjoyed their food. Pancakes and french toast were delicious. Would give the food 4.5 stars. Had carnitas benedict and it was very flavorful and tasty. They went a little too light on the hollandaise, but otherwise no complaints. I'd give the atmosphere and decor 3 stars. Inside, the space has more of a greasy spoon feel, which doesn't quite fit with the price point and quality of the food. I love greasy spoons as much as anyone, but Toast isn't a greasy spoon, so it just feels weird that it isn't nicer inside. With a new space or some significant renovations at the location, the overall experience would be worth 5 stars. read more

This is the best breakfast place I have experienced since moving to Denver. It is I Lakewood and if you really enjoy breakfast this is the place to come. IHOP needs to come here and experience what real pancakes taste like. They have a melody of different types of pancakes to experience and have to say its hard for me to pick a favorite. The potatoes are out if this world. The biscuits and gravy were perfect. But the coffee is the best that I have ever had. Overall if I could give it more stars I would. Everyone needs to cone and experience what breakfast is suppose to taste like. Side note the eggs were perfect. I can't believe that for 47yrs I thought I knew what a great breakfast was until today. I have no idea why this place comes up when you search for Vegan, but don't be fooled. Nothing is vegan. That being said, after I waited 45 minutes to be seated for brunch and learned this, my better half thoroughly enjoyed her breakfast and they went well out of their way to find something I could eat. If you are vegan go elsewhere. The staff is great and the food, as my lady said, was tasty. I had great breakfast potatoes, some toast and fruit. I will say this. They read every single load of bread they had to find a vegan one. Really great people and good food, but if you are a vegan you might find somewhere else with more options and disregard Yelp on this on for veg options. read more

Toast had great food. I had the Santa Fe French toast. Serving sizes were huge!! Two people could most definitely share this. We loved getting on the waitlist via Yelp. Staff was decent. We had a bit of a wait and while we waited we went to a few of the antique shops across the street. When our table was ready I got a phone call so we weren't stuck just waiting around. We waited 52 minutes to get in, so I would expect really great food, but what we got was not great. The potatoes, which are one of my favorite parts of breakfast, were so undercooked, several bites were actually just warm raw potato. Worse though, they were coated in so much rosemary, I literally couldn't smell anything else. My husband already vowed never to go back because of the poor service he got last time, and now I'm on board with him too. I NEVER write reviews, but I was so disappointed, I get compelled to say something. The waitress never even came back to check that everything was ok after the food was delivered, so even if I wanted to send the potatoes back, I would have had to search her out to do it. This place is FABULOUS! I had the salmon eggs benedict...completely delicious. Very rich but could not stop eating it! The have good coffee too and specialty coffee drinks. The service was very friendly and fast. I immediately had a drink and got great suggestions on what to order. Not that attentive during the meal, but I was alone and on the phone for a little bit so that didn't bug me much. Parking is limited but the location doesn't really allow for it to be any different. The food is average with larger portions, however the price is elevated to match the portions. Waiters and Waitresses were very polite and friendly with the exception of an older lady receiving customers at the door who became very rude when we were unsure if a 5th person would join us or not. She went off on a anger tangent with my wife about table space if we were unsure. This lady doesn't have the public skills to wash dishes let alone deal with customers. Our waitress was extremely friendly. The pancakes were so fluffy and delicious. It cured my craving for blueberry pancakes. I just moved here and was missing my favorite small diner that had out of this world pancakes. Thankfully, I have found my blueberry happy place here!! Love their food. Very small place though with excessive long lines every morning, especially weekends. It is good food, but not good enough to wait in line for an hour and them be cramped in at a table with too much crowd around you. The staff are friendly and do try to do their best to keep things moving, but it so cramped that you and other customers and staff are accidentally elbowing others at tables behind or beside yours. I don't know why they always keep that back room empty and reserved for only business meeting customers. They need forget about reserving that back room and instead open it up for regular daily customers. read more
