I've had breakfast at Toast once/month lately because a group I'm in meets there. The food's been at best mediocre, and today was SO bad I have to write a review. The carnitas burrito I got was at barely room temperature, with almost no meat in it. It was stuffed with undercooked potatoes (white hash "browns"). I ate the non-potato parts and felt sick. Left the potatoes. I suppose it would have helped if the waitress had brought me a glass of water, but no. Bad service as well -- not even water! I made my own real breakfast when I got home. My solution: I'll keep going to the meetings, but I'll order nothing from "Toast Fine Food." read more

First time here and the food was amazing! Service was really fast. As soon as we got sat, we were greeted by the waitress. Food came out fast and hot too. First, parking is at a premium here so you may have to park down the street. They have quite an extensive menu and you will not go home hungry, no matter what you order as they have very generous portions. I had the blueberry lemon pancakes. They were huge! These are blueberry pancakes with lemon curd across the top. Just to add to the intrigue, they put pieces of gingersnaps on top and sprinkle it all with powdered sugar. I requested the accompanying whip cream on the side and found it to compliment the tartness of the lemon. So yummy, and I ended up bringing half of it home. Hopefully it will re-heat nicely. My husband had the chorizo omelet. It was served with potatoes and sourdough toast. Again, very generous portions. He found it delicious and just about cleaned his plate. I found the coffee to be stronger than I usually like but all in all, it was a wonderful breakfast. The service was great and efficient. When in town, we will definitely be returning. read more

This time I decided to try the Nutty Pancakes.. they're absolutely incredible. The fluffy pancakes are smothered with chocolate hazelnut spread and some sort of banana drizzle and NUTTERBUTTER!! I was most excited about the nutterbutter crumbles.. they're probably my favorite cookie. Visiting my in-laws in Littleton from Missouri, and was treated to this great restaurant. I've been in the area 3-4 times and have driven by this place so many times...it was great when my mother-in-law suggested we try it. And what a great place!! Food was SO good and came out very fast, too...that's always a great combination in my book. Good coffee (I'm pretty picky about my coffee), and I had the Bourbon Praline Pecan French Toast with eggs and bacon. My family of 6 and my in-laws left full and with smiles on our faces. I like the new location! Plenty of dining space and better parking here. I usually have breakfast at Toast, but it was high noon when we stopped by, so we changed it up a bit and had lunch. The Rueben sandwich is very good with the grilled, marbled, rye bread, corned beef, cheese, and of course sauerkraut (had to check my spelling on that one). It's a casual, homey-looking place, the walls covered with "toast" coloring pages made by kids (and maybe some adults). They have a pretty extensive menu with all things breakfast and it was hard to choose! I finally settled on a stack of blueberry pancakes with lemon curd. When it arrived I couldn't believe how huge it was! I managed to eat about 1 1/2 pancakes and saved the rest for later (yes, I took it on the plane and the bag check person laughed when she opened to check its contents). Decided to go to breakfast with my family and found this spot in Littleton on Yelp. We knew it was going to be a little strange with everything Covid related going on. We looked on their website and you can watch if there is a wait before you go. It was helpful to know we weren't going to have hangry husbands on our hands waiting for a table. The four of us were seated in a booth near the kitchen and it was a lot more comfortable than most booths and were not a small people so it was nice and cozy in a good way. We noticed there weren't any menus and saw on the center of the table a QR code you can scan on your phone to pull up the menu. Love the technology and avoid wasting paper menus like some places are doing right now. I realize not everyone has a cell phone but most do, so I thought it was brilliant! I was so excited to see they had lattes and cappuccinos on their menu so I got myself my favorite almond milk vanilla latte and it was delicious. The food was good but not perfect. My sisters order was incorrect and the boys' breakfast potatoes were undercooked and a little greasy. I think I was the only one that enjoyed their breakfast fully. My French toast was on point and my side of cheddar cheese & scrambled eggs was the perfect portion for me. Our server was excellent and the whole place ran well by management. Nice ambiance, CLEAN, nice people, tables spaced out so we were socially distanced from other parties dining there. Overall, I would give them a solid 7 out of 10 and I would return. The restaurant had a very strange chain restaurant feel to it for being independent. The menu has a lot of options, but the food doesn't taste homemade and lacks any "this is amazing" factor. My husband ordered the corned beef hash, which he really liked, but his eggs were ordered over medium and they came out barely cooked at all (I am an over easy fan and they weren't even that). I ordered the eggs blackstone. The bacon is violently sugary, poached eggs were basically hard boiled and neither my husband nor I ate the hashbrowns because they taste like you're biting into a raw potato that's been slathered in a stick of butter. Sometimes less is more and Toast is all for super charging their plates with sugar and fat and not in a balanced way where things taste delicious and decadent. They give you a ton of food! I think the pancake is the better of the 2 flights; you can taste more of a difference in flavor between the pancakes vs. the french toast. Call me a millennial, I don't care. But no boozy brunch drinks is a serious problem. I genuinely will not return for this very reason. The menu was unique and the service was fine. I got a benedict with avocado and things that was pretty average. Additionally, we were sort of shooed from our table on a not so busy afternoon.... I get it, you want to turn tables and make money but we just paid our hard earned money and might like to socialize. I don't know, not my favorite place for a few reasons and the lack of cocktails won't bring me back. Service was great, only had to wait about 15 min on a weekend so no complaints there. My friends were in town and it was their last day to try something new. So we decided to try a new breakfast spot! We ordered an abundance of specialty pancakes and the specials dishes. The strawberry and banana pancakes were ridiculously good. Fresh ingredients and fresh buttermilk pancakes. If your aiming to try multiple speciality pancakes, then I would recommend trying the pancake flight. You get four choices of specialty pancake with two mini pancakes for each stack. The lumberjack breakfast was HUGE. The ham was juicy and crispy on its edges. The egg was cooked perfectly and felt like fresh product. The sausage and bacon were juicy and crispy, just how I like them! You can substitute the regular pancakes it brings for specialty pancakes for a small cost. The honey fried chicken and pancakes was a bit underwhelming in the sense of presentation. But the main redeeming factor was its taste. The chicken was crispy and juicy in every bite. The flavor from the breading was more than I expected and the way it soaked into the pancakes left an amazing taste. Will recommend to anyone wanting something different.
