Oh Toast. I'm a big fan. I'd give Yelp a solid 4.5 stars - only because I'm fairly stingy with those 5 star ratings. Toast was pretty darn great! To start, the staff is all very friendly. Having worked in food service prior to and throughout my college years, this is super important to me. From the girls who greeted us at the door to our waiter, I was thoroughly pleased. We were told our wait would be 20 minutes and we only waited 10 on a Sunday morning. Nice! We ordered an iced chai which was delicious. For meals, my honey got the corned beef eggs benedict which he LOVED. He was full after eating one of the eggs and 1/2 the potatoes and we took the rest home. It reheated surprisingly well. I got the chai infused french toast with a side of sausauge. My french toast was great, and again, a HUGE portion. I took 1/2 of it home and it too, reheated pretty well. The only thing that kind of failed was at the end of the meal when it came time to get the check. We let our waiter know we were ready for the check and it took a good 15 minutes for him to return with it. Then it took him probably another 10 minutes for him to pick it up again and nearly as long for him to bring it back a final time. Went here this morning for my moms birthday. The chai was good, our server was kind and attentive. The eggs Benedict had a good flavor. Except that my plate was not hot... It was even a little bit cold. And there wasn't enough hollandaise sauce, but when we asked for more she was kind to bring out a side. The atmosphere is warm, but the decoration is nothing special. I ordered the peach berry crumble pancakes and I really like that they don't fall apart after they have been sitting for awhile. There's nothing worse than mushy pancakes! If they used real fruit instead of over sweetened canned fruit It wouldn't be so overwhelming. The restaurant itself is small and cute. The ambiance is great, modern hip and unique. The food was ok I got the Avocado toast, eggs nice and fluffy, avocado was fresh, but the potatoes were undercooked. I wish the menu had something that incorporate both sweet and salty, that's my favorite type of breakfast plate. However overall food wise was a solid 4-stars. The waitress however was a bit awkward I'm not sure if it's because she was new or simply overwhelmed. She said about 3 sentences to us in the almost 90 minutes we were there "what did you want to drink?" "ready to order" and "is everything ok" granted maybe I'm being super judgmental but I'm used to waitress being more attentive and upbeat than that. I think why it took 1 star off from my experience was when she came to give us to check she just stared at me and slid it on the table without a word...We weren't done eating, never came back and we never got offered boxes? All in all ok plate for me my husband liked his. Awkward service but would definitely try again. If the experience is different I will update. read more

We stumbled upon this place one day just to try it out. It was amazing. We especially love the breakfast burrito and banana chocolate chip pancakes. My husband loves their coffee so much that he bought the coffee beans. Lol. We have been to this place more than 10 times literally. We even took our families here to try it and they loved it. Use the yelp app to be put on the waiting list while you drive to this destination. The dining room is small and can maybe fit 50 people max, so it can be loud. Be prepared for that. The food...unique and simple all at the same time. I ordered the gravy cakes, biscuits and gravy in a pancake form. It was fun and the gravy...YUM! My fiancé ordered the Denver Omelet. It was a good sized serving. The only complaint is that the potatoes were a little on the dry end. They don't have a gluten free menu, but they do have a flyer of what items have gluten, which is very helpful. If we go again, I'm going to try the avocado toast. We heard so many good thing about this place and it was terrible. The vegetarian/vegan options are poor and for vegan non existent. We ordered a side of avocado with our meal and the avocado was rotting and park of it was black. No veg options when it comes to chili or gravy. It was hard to substitute anything on the menu. Past that, the service was HORRIBLE! We didn't get a knife when we asked and had to eat part of the meal with our hands and never got checked up on during the meal. Went to downtown Littleton for the first time and am in love with it! Stopped in for lunch and coffee at Toast. Had the turkey Pedro and was quite impressed. Delicious tomato bisque: pizza in a cup. I would definitely say that this is a place worth checking out. We were able to find parking pretty easy and were seated with no wait. I ordered the French toast flight and a chai and both were downright amazing. The French toast flight offered so many different flavors and the chai was so rich! My girlfriend ordered the Oscar Benedict because she read about it online and loves filet Oscar. That was actually what convinced her to give Toast a try. This was a bit of a let down. There was not a lot of hollandaise at all so she had to ask for extra on the side. The meat itself was delicious and cooked how she ordered it, but the other flavors just didn't not compliment each other the way they should have. She did order a white raspberry truffle latte or something like that and it was wonderful! All in all, we look forward to coming back and giving it another shot! read more

I overeat here. I admit it. The food makes it easy to do so, as does the portion size. Whether it's pancakes (it's usually pancakes) or eggs, potatoes and a bowl (ok it's only a very large cup, but sooo bowl like) of chai tea, I always get enough to eat and drink at Toast. I've been a fan of the lemon blueberry pancakes since my first visit, and as I recall it was the first meal I had here, but I've now tried the Devils Food (so chocolatey, sweet, and sinfully delicious) and the Banana's Foster as well as the Nutty (Nutella) Pancakes and can hardly pick a favorite. I like to try something different each time I come and so far that's paying off as I have a lot of favorites at Toast. I loved the Corned Beef Hash (theirs is made in house), and the Salmon Omelette I tried recently was delicious too. Both meals offer unique flavors, with the Salmon omelette not skimping on the salmon as is the Toast way. The Chai Tea that I mentioned earlier is that type that tickles the back of your throat with it's spiciness but offset as it is by the cinnamon and foam still goes down awfully smooth in it's generous serving size. The service is usually excellent and unobtrusive which is something I appreciate when I eat out. I'm not a fan of an overly solicitous server, and Toast folks seem to be smart enough to be close and distant at the same time. Likely it's because they're busy enough with other nearby tables, and observant of yours, but not hovering. I love Toast, and though the parking and wait times can be a bit of a pain, it's worth it to fill up so completely with so many favorite options. read more

I like a diner atmosphere, but I was not at all impressed with this dump. Didn't enjoy my meal at all, it was the worst biscuit & gravy dishes I've ever had. The "sausage" had the texture of three day old ground beef and was overcooked. The gravy was ok. I worked my way through about 1/2 of a biscuit & just couldn't stomach any more. I didn't even bother bringing it home for the dog, it was so nasty. The place is noisy and somewhat chaotic, and it felt dirty to me. Sorry. I won't go back. read more

A great breakfast spot in downtown Littleton! E and I decided to go for brunch and showed up around 11:30am. After about a 20-minute wait outside on a chilly and windy morning (there is a little to no room for waiting inside, just as an FYI), thankfully with free coffee that Toast provides, we were sat. The restaurant is pretty small on the inside, but turnover is pretty quick for how busy it is. It's a laid-back spot with a killer menu that will keep you wanting to come back for more! E went for a Denver omelette and I chose the Chai French Toast. The omelette looked delicious but E wasn't really sharing ;) The french toast, though, was absolutely epic. Although the plate was only two slices, those slices were absolutely enormous, and bathed in chai-spiced sautéed apples. I only managed to eat about half - with E's help! They were served with maple syrup, which ended up being highly unnecessary! Besides the great food, the coffee was delicious and our server was fantastic. Prices seemed to be on par with other similar breakfast spots (Snooze, Three Little Griddles, etc). We will definitely be back! read more
