This is a super delicious spot to enjoy brunch, but be prepared to wait! I've driven past here hundreds of times but never knew what a hidden gem this place really was. I brought my parents here to celebrate my moms birthday and was told to expect a 45 minute wait. They had complementary Novo coffee out front, which was nice, so we grabbed a coffee and did some window shopping to kill some time. The wait ended up being an hour and ten minutes, however, which was pretty unfortunate. The food was this place's saving grace because it was sublime. I had the chai latte and honey chicken biscuit which was superb. The chicken was crispy and went great with the flaky biscuit all dolloped with gravy. The country potatoes were average, but it made for a very generous meal that I took half of home. My mom enjoyed the pancake flight with a raspberry white chocolate latte (sooooo good) and my stepdad said the corned beef Benedict was excellent as well. Minus one star for service--we spent the last half of our wait for the table inside and it was ridiculous how little space there was. But what was worse was the staff who would make us go one place only to tell us we were in the way and go another. We must have been moved around at least 4 or 5 times before we got our table. You'd think that a restaurant named Toast would make that food the star of the plate, and it's good; the bread is tasty, but what is put on top of the toast is lacking. Avocado toast is delicious but why the small Smuckers packages of high fructose, high sugar fruit spread? I know during the pandemic, sharing homemade jars of jam was not possible, but now it would be good to see them on the table to highlight the toast! I asked for a half-portion and was looked at like an alien. Why so much food? Please offer half-portions for those who don't want to eat warmed up leftover eggs. And, for a place that praises its pancakes, please serve with real syrup, and again, not high-fructose substitute. Ordering real syrup is an option. I was so sad when I first thought Toast had gone under, when in fact they had just moved from their location on Littleton Blvd and Santa Fe to their new location on Bellevue. The new location allows for stress free parking, which is nice. The old place was always hard to get into. If that was a turn off, now is the time to try Toast for the first time or again. The flights of pancakes are something I could eat all day. Eggs Benedict is quite good. Their burritos are great. A little extra green Chile would be nice. It's just right, not too hot and a complexity of flavor that makes you want more. So many dishes, so good. It's a shame the last trip left me missing my simple cup of black coffee. I got a simple omelet with bacon / cheese & upgraded to the french toast instead of toast. I have been twice now and the food does not disappoint. Small parking lot but there is usually parking around downtown littleton and you can go for a walk. There is usually a wait but never more than 25 minutes - they provide you with free coffee while you are waiting outside. My only issue, which is pretty minor - is the staff can talk and talk while you are just trying to order / enjoy a meal with friends / family. We put in an order at 12 today said it would be ready at 1:10 seems long but I get it, Sunday, just reopened, etc. my husband gets there and calls like the signs say for pickup and no one answers the phone several times. He He walks in at 1:10 and is told it'll be a few more minutes, waits in the entrance for 10 minutes. Then hostess suggests he wait in the car and they'll bring food out. then waits in his car for 15 more minutes before coming in where our food is sitting on the counter and the hostess is chatting with coworkers. Usually not a big deal but he was waiting an extra 25 minutes for our food. Definitely will have to rethink next time read more

Since we moved to Littleton, we decided to give this popular place another try since we didn't have the best experience the first time. We arrived at 1pm on Saturday and were seated immediately. I had to try the chicken fried steak again to confirm that the first time was a dud. My wife ordered the Monte Cristo. The chicken fried steak was well cooked and wasn't anywhere near as tough or burnt as the first time. The eggs were hidden underneath all that gravy, so much so that I forgot they were there until I saw running yolk. The french toast side is huge! It is made with some really good bread, but because of the size, it was a little dry and not very well saturated with the egg custard. The Monte Cristo was great -- instead of regular toast, french toast was used for sandwich, which added additional richness to the dish. The berry dipping sauce was the perfect compliment to the sandwich. My wife chose tomato bisque for her side, and it was the best item on the table! It was incredibly smooth, slightly cheesy, and very creamy. Next time I have my eye on trying the fried chicken and pancakes. Also, if you check in on Yelp here you get free coffee! read more

I was only able to eat a quarter of my Bourbon Praline French Toast. My friend got trough half of her pancake flight, and my other friend barely left a dent in her Chicken Fried Steak. The french toast was on the sweeter side, but was extremely filling. My friend who got the pancake flight said her pancakes were really tasty.
