We were in the Temecula area overnight & hoped to find a scrumptious breakfast spot before our hike. We were thrilled to get a table at Toast. To get seated more quickly, we chose an outside table. They provided adequate heat lamps for the chilly morning. Plus their drink menu is extensive! I sampled the honey lavender latte and was very happy that it was tasty but not too sweet. The other people in our party tried the pumpkin spiced latte with either cow milk, almond or soy milk. Half our party ordered omelettes and the other half had French toast. We were all full and happy! It was a great meal w friendly, helpful service. I'll come back here next time I'm in town. read more

Brunch on a Saturday, nothing really beats a delicious serving of French toast with a tall glass of orange juice. I ordered a couple things in the menu, typical breakfast orders. They weren't bad. I would say the best thing on the menu is French toast however it is very sweet. Be sure to order some milk . I would come here again but I wasn't wowed by the food and the wait time is super long. It was just okay. Not bad but not great. I was hoping for more. read more

So I was the one that made our party of 4 stop here for brunch before we went wine tasting. Everyone else in my group were fine with Del Taco, but I said this place looked super cute. When we got there, the hostess said it'll be around a 30 minute wait. We ended up waiting a full hour. The hostess was extremely not helpful at all, and seemed quite fluster and kept putting her head down to avoid eye contact with any of the customers. I was very annoyed and frustrated with her. Our waiter, on the other hand, was much better when we finally got seated. We ordered the Crab Cake Benedict, Creme Brûlée French Toast, and Shrimp Ceviche to share. The benedict was decent. We did not care for the dry baguette on the bottom though. The French toast was quite nice. Not too sweet. The ceviche was a mess. It was literally tomato soup with a few small pieces of shrimp. I also got the California Love for my cocktail, which tasted like spicy guacamole, which isn't a bad thing. My friend got the Vanilla Ice Charcoal Matcha. They barely put any charcoal in, so we asked the waiter for more and he gave us a small carafe. Overall, not impressed with this place and probably won't come back. read more

The food is good but the service from our waitress (Yvonne) was really bad , I've noticed that she was serving to other tables a different way (being really nice and attentive) versus how she was serving us; she hardly came to our table to check how we were doing, I felt that it was very poor service. I FEEL SHE WAS DEFINITELY BEING RACIST WITH US (HISPANIC PEOPLE) ,this Waitress is named Yvonne (an older women about her lates 40s). I hope management takes action about this. read more

I love the food here! The service is another story. They CLEARLY don't like, or want to deal with take-out orders. For awhile they would not do them on weekends, then had enough complaints ( we are supposed to stay home, remember?) that now, they will. When you call they will tell you it's going to be up to two hours and your breakfast will likely be cold when you pick it up. To the owner: Just designate someone to answer phones and process takeout orders!!! You will start losing customers. read more

I want to come here again as I am typing this. I had seen some so-so reviews on the Crab Cake Benedicts. So I was very happy when my friend and I just devoured ours because it was so delicious. The hollandaise sauce was something else. Even though our Creme Brulee French toast didn't come out with the sugar crisp on top, we still very much enjoyed them. They were fluffy and not too sweet. Definitely recommend. read more

Took my friend from England to try out the place. We went early (8am) to beat the crown. It worked. We were seated right away. Service was good. Food was excellent! The diners next to us had an annoying little girl that was using the high table as a playground. Annoying, but not Toast's fault. By the time we left there was a line waiting to get a table. I had the Radical Stack. Looking forward to trying different things. read more

I really enjoyed my chicken fried chicken for breakfast. I had just done a four mile incline hike, so I was ready for a starchy big breakfast! It was so good. The biscuits were too good, felt so rebellious enjoying them! It's very busy so we did take out and took our picnic to a nearby park. They have some amazing bloody Mary's and mimosa flights though so if you can squeeze in before the crowds, you should! My pal enjoyed a burger and it is served open faced. She enjoyed it, but it was a little tricky to eat, so be prepared. read more

I recommend going on any day but Saturday. I like their high top booths! However, the service yesterday was less than stellar. Two coffee drinks were served lukewarm with what seemed to be sour milk. I do highly recommend the corn beef Benedict however! read more

Our server haley (hope I'm spelling that right) was by far the highlight of our experience, she was so attentive and sweet, she really made our experience better. This place is exceptional, specifically with their friendly and communicative staff. We came here after doing a Sunrise Hot-air Balloon ride and this restaurant hits the spot. Breakfast here is a must. It wasn't too busy when we arrived around 0830, but it quickly filled up and we saw people waiting for a table on our way out. The food and coffee all looked good on the menu and we need to come back and try other things. Breakfast here is superb. read more

I can only say get directions and come. Y'all gotta try them. If judging only by my drink order, i rate this place 5 stars! I was out heading towards San Diego in the morning but was looking for a new coffee place. When i found TOAST their food pics on yelp looked food stunning! Once i got here i was lucky to find parking so keep that in mind. Parking is a hassle very busy shopping center. Plus super close to the 15 fwy. From outside a line of ppl waiting to get seated. So bc of time I only ordered drinks to go. I got their matcha drink and to my surprise a ROCKY ROAD latte. Unbelievable but literally it is exactly what it sounds like. It is a crazy drink so expect the sugar rush. They have a small place for the amount of ppl that consistently stop by. But it is worth it nevertheless! I was left satisfied:) read more

Ummm this place is amaze balls. Wish we had more spots like this in Temecula because we definitely need it. It's trendy, innovative, fresh and one of my go to spots for a wholesome meal. It's also affordable. My only downfall is how busy this place can get but I definitely suggest that you come during the weekday if you can because there's never a wait when I go! I went in for breakfast with a gf after a night out and I really needed a hearty carb filled breakfast. I wanted breakfast! when checking in I mentioned I was vegan and they told me they had options for me. Well there were 2 options and you could have the quail gg removed from the Avo toast to make it vegan, ok whatever they should make the egg an adder so that you don't have to pay so much. Anyway I settled on lunch food and ordered the Vegan BLTA Sandwich this thing was huge and delicious, they let me sub breakfast potato for my side so. The portions were huge the service was great, they coffee kept coming and they had a few creamer options that were not animal based. Side a friend had the spicy Bloody Mary and she likes spicy, but this was super spicy, she wished she had ordered it 1/2 hot and 1/2 regular. Just something to consider, I didn't drink it because they mix is pre missed for the day with Worsteschire (sp) sauce. read more

This place is SUPER cute and the atmosphere is fun and trendy. Customer service is incredible and fast. Everyone is really friendly and attentive. However, the food is a little underwhelming but that wouldn't stop us from coming back. There was enough positive things to make up for that. We got the following: Shrimp and Grits- a bit bland Bacon Flight- AMAZING! Rocky Road Mocha- AMAZING Pancakes- eh, the came out hard and tasted like the mix that you add water to Radical Stack- AMAZING Biscuits and Gravy- AMAZING Would 100% come again and wish we could give it a 4.5 stars and try the other menu items. 5 stars wasn't quite there because of the food but 4 seems low and unfair. 4.5 is where it's at. Toast was a great place! We were in Temecula for state cup. We made a reservation for 8 and then the entire team decided to come. The staff and management were so accommodating, especially given it was the perfect Sunday brunch crowd and we had a team of dirty soccer boys! On top of it, the food was not only fast but delicious! The crab cake Benedict and the shrimp and Grits are so good. Hubby and I always get mimosa flights. They change with the season, so you'll never get the same kind. Lattes and specialty cocktails are good, and there's seasonal ones as well. Staff friendly and accommodating. Just know this: everybody wants to go to toast. When I say everybody, I mean EVERYBODY, grannies, aunties, cousins, uncles, and twice removed members. So if you want to meet for brunch at noon, somebody has to go up there at 10:45, to 11 am to put your name on this list. The temecula one is even longer in wait. But again, it's worth it. The restaurant is super cute, and there's witty writings on the walls for decor. read more

Friends and I were looking for some place cute to eat. Looked in Yelp, and found this place ! Wasn't hungry before going, but after I saw how good everyone's food looked I was like The decor inside was cute and simple. Service was fast. A lot of girls though. Y'all need some guy servers . The toast I got was amazing ! I'm not a fan of toast because of how dry it normally is but this was something so different . I wish I had a bigger appetite because the chilaquiles looked like Worth a try. For all you vegan people they had a few items on the menu for y'all! Established in 2017.

Toast opened in Dec. 2017. As a family, we have seen a need for craft food in our area. After opening a successful restaurant in Old Town Temecula, 1909, we wanted to offer an all day brunch/lunch spot to guests in South Temecula. Our valley is notorious for chain restaurants, but we wanted to offer from scratch food made with love. Our family restaurant is truly a labor of love. From the tables, to the paintings, to the decor, all of it has been done by a family member or employee of one of our restaurants. We care nothing more about involving everyone in our restaurants! The flavor profile was good and the hollandaise sauce was a nice consistency. Service was okay. Our waitress was nice and helpful. It seemed like she was busy with indoor tables and our table. We received our food before any silverware. We had to ask two different people before being brought any. Overall, experience was okay.

As soon as I walked inside, the host Dakota was super cordial and got me seated at their outdoor patio beneath sun shades, next to the vineyard and I had a perfect unobstructed view of the jazz performer on stage. After seating, I ordered a glass of their signature Cabernet Sauvignon and the Fromagé plate, which was presented shortly afterwards. The fromagé plate had a variety of cheeses, seedless red grapes, dried apricots, fig preserve spread and additionally a plate of bread... perfect for sharing or not. The saxophone player played contemporary music which was all entertaining as I noshed and sipped vino. Their signature Cabernet Sauvignon was quiet lovely; aroma and depth of flavors was perfect with the fromagé ...love!! After the lunch, a stroll around the grounds to see more vineyards, felt the breeze on a hot day was nice. Inside the gift shop there was so much to peruse through, but some of the stuff will definitely get a giggle out of you. There's an art gallery connected to the main building. I wouldn't call it an art gallery but many walls were dedicated to showcasing local artists work depicting the Temecula Valley lifestyle. In the same room is the wine tasting bar and most of the people inside the art gallery seemed to be more interested in wine tasting than the art lol This was my second time visiting, both times, I had a great first impression and last impression from the ambiance, food and service.
