My husband and I had VERY different experiences when we came to this location. I'm sad that his experience was not ideal. I can totally understand why he doesn't want to comeback. He ordered the biscuits and gravy meal, and his food was COLD when they brought it out. He told me, so I touched it and informed the waitress. The eggs were cold, cold- like they had been sitting for at least 10 minutes. The hash-browns were cold. Just not good. The waitress apologized and my husband had to wait 15 minutes for them to remake his meal. Meanwhile, I had already scarfed my food. My poor husband had to sit there, watching me eat, while his food was re-made. It came out hot the second time, which is good. My husband said the gravy was not his favorite. He always judges a breakfast place by the gravy. For some reason that is really important to him lol On the other hand, my experience was GREAT. I actually loved my meal! The shrimp ceviche was extremely fresh and I love the presentation. The granola salad was a real surprise! The whipped ricotta was so light and delicious. I enjoyed the fresh fruit and warm mini pancakes. Both of these dishes were a win for me. Ambiance was crowded/. Very busy. We waited an hour just to be seated. The noise level was exceptionally high. It was hard to have a conversation with my husband. This is not the place if you want to have a nice, quiet breakfast/ brunch experience.

Between 3 and 4 so rating up - toast was a cute little place. More of your typical breakfast place (some items could be a little pricier than expected but ya know .. today's economy). Anyways, the toast did look good in pictures but the crème brûlée (the one we got) fell a little flat , I'd probably try the tiramisu one. Staff was super nice and quick! Wait times also weren't too bad which is great when you ar hungry for brunch!

Went here last weekend to celebrate my friend's birthday with a group of 8 (plus a toddler!) the day before Mother's Day, so we already expected a wait. We called ahead and were quoted about an hour, but ended up waiting closer to 2 hours after checking in. Honestly though, with the holiday weekend and our big group, we understood. While waiting outside, they had Jenga and Connect 4 set up, which was a nice touch and definitely helped pass the time. The restaurant itself had a lively brunch atmosphere and was clearly packed all morning. Once we got seated, our server Ryan took care of us right away. She got our drinks and food orders in quickly, and honestly the turnaround time for everything was surprisingly fast considering how busy it was. Ryan was super fun, attentive, and really matched the energy of our group. She even brought out a little birthday treat for my friend, which was sweet! My friend and I both ordered the "life size" mimosas -- which isn't shocking because of the glass size, but because it's basically a whole bottle of champagne LOL. Huge shoutout to Ryan for recommending the freshly squeezed orange juice because it balanced everything perfectly and wasn't overly sweet at all. I ordered the Mind Your Own Biscuits & Gravy. Solid, classic brunch dish, and the hash browns had an amazing crunch to them. Overall, pretty standard brunch food, but the great service from Ryan really made the experience enjoyable!

My experience at Toast was a great one. I made a last-minute reservation for a large party, and the hostess worked with me to secure a reservation close to the time we originally wanted and get us seated in a timely manner. They did seat us separately, which wasn't what we would have preferred; however, we understand that the reservation was made last minute and we were also on a time crunch, so getting seated quickly was a priority. I know it's not easy accommodating a large group, especially on a busy day, and given our time constraints, I was initially nervous about whether we would be seated and served on time. However, the staff was organized, patient, and friendly throughout, and everything ran smoothly. Despite how busy it was, we received our food promptly, and everything came out well-presented and delicious. The chilaquiles were especially flavorful, and the egg omelet and potatoes were also excellent. Our group also ordered the Korean ribs, which were very tasty, and the French toast as well! For drinks, our group wasn't a big fan of the iced coffee, and the mimosa flights were a bit too sweet for my personal preference. I only really enjoyed two out of the four options. That said, they were beautifully presented and very photogenic. One thing we really appreciated was that they accommodated separate checks for such a large group, which made paying much more convenient. The space offers both indoor and outdoor seating. It is on the smaller side, but they still managed to accommodate our group comfortably. Overall, it was a really positive experience, and I'd definitely consider returning.

Wait is long so remember to join waitlist well before you visit the restaurant. We joined the waitlist around 30 minutes before we arrived and then wait for another 40 minutes onsite. The service is attentive and friendly. Food is really yummy with HUGE portions especially the potatoes. I'd recommend getting a patio seating because the inside is a bit humid and stuffy maybe due to the semi open kitchen.

Saturday, 6-07-2025: This review is so overdue! This eatery isn't very big but they did have outdoor seating in their spacious side patio. It's a very casual and relaxing ambiance. We had a big group and I was grateful they could accommodate all of us. Of course, I made reservations. This was a nice meet up with our dear family & friends. I do recall we all enjoyed the food and truly appreciated the attentive and absolute care that two servers gave to our large party. We would definitely return. We were impressed with their food and customer service.

Very family friendly! Inside and outside seating. The food was great, as well as the ambiance! Service was quick , it does get busy so depending on when you go there is a waitlist. 9/10 definitely a great spot for brunch or Bible study meetup.

I've been wanting to try this place for a few months now and we were finally able to make it in today. No wait time which was great of course even though they were steadily busy. I bet this place gets insanely busy on the weekends, but it looks like there is the option to join via the Yelp waitlist & I love that. Inside is cute, I really like the booths and their design. There is a one stall restroom for everyone to use, but it was kept pretty tidy so that was great to see. Our food was pretty good, I love corned beef so the Reuben Benedict was perfect, one of us got hash browns and the other go the pecorino potatoes. The pecorino potatoes were good, I think they needed salt in my opinion and they would have been perfect. The portion size was pretty big. I am a big eater and I struggled to finish my food. The crème brûlée french toast was good too. I wasn't a huge fan of the custard in the middle though, there was a lot of it and it was just a bit thick in my opinion. The bread and the syrup with the fresh strawberry were delicious though. I'm excited to come back again and try more menu items. Highly recommend this spot for a brunch outing.

Great breakfast spot. We secured our place in line through their online booking system, nice and easy. Arrived around 10:30 am and it was very crowded, but we had our reservation so we only waited 10 minutes. They have indoor and fully covered outdoor seating. Nice shaded benches for these waiting. Parking wasn't hard to find. A lot of families and people with celebrations making this place an energetic atmosphere. The food and drinks were very delicious. My sister had the chilaquilles and I had the fried chicken yum! The biscuits that came with the fried chicken looked home made and we awesome, so we're the potatoes and gravy.

Well, here's a toast to Toast!! Me and two friends came here because we were looking for a good brunch spot when passing thru Temecula. We came here because of the good reviews on Yelp, so I thought I would add my own to the menagerie! They were able to seat us on a Friday morning right away and I believe this is because they also have a lovely heated, outdoor seating area. We were very comfortable and happy to enjoy the ambiance outside. I had to try their rose matcha and I was so very pleased with both the presentation and taste. It looked and tasted special, especially with the dried rose garnish. Another unique menu item was the Reuben Benedict. Corned beef is a very big favorite of mine, as is hollandaise sauce and a poached egg. All of it came together beautifully and really deliciously too. The choice of cheese was a very good accompaniment. I got the Parmesan potatoes and they were really tasty too, I did add my own salt, but that was fine because all the other tastes and textures were on point! A special breakfast that was worth a couple extra dollars! For me it's either diner food for breakfast or a special brunch and this fell into the special brunch category and they did a wonderful job. While in town, I wanted to try this spot for brunch with family and compare to the location or version of it that we have in NY. It didn't disappoint. The menu wasn't overwhelming but had more than enough choices. I probably had the best shrimp and grits in my life so far here. It's a must have if you like shrimp and grits. They have indoor and patio seating which is nice and service was really good even though they were busy for a weekday brunch meal. I highly recommend stopping in if you're in the Temecula area.

We had a pleasant breakfast this morning at Toast. The cookies and cream cold brew was very sweet and chocolatey for the chocolate lovers. So good. The steak and eggs were cooked perfectly and very flavorful. I don't think there's anything you could try on the menu that wouldn't be delicious. It's a great place to come and have a nice breakfast. We will be back!

I had brunch this Sunday with my family and oooo mmmm gggg it was great! We all got something different and tried each other's. The pecorino potatoes were amazing and even tasted great on our long drive back home! My sister had the chilaquiles and they were perfectly crisp and tangy from the tomatillos. But the star of the show was deff the Bloody Mary. It was the Best Bloody Mary I have ever had and I would go back just for the drinks! This was my first (and only) experience so far dining out since the pandemic began. I gave my name, then waited at my car until they texted me my table was ready. Tables were more than 6 feet apart, they took my temp before seating me, and servers were masked. I felt pretty safe (and I seldom do lately!) I had the crab cakes benedict, and a mimosa flight (apricot, strawberry, colada aka pineapple, and blood orange.) Everything was so good, including service, and I already have recommended them to others. I would go back in a heartbeat when in town. read more

Our group of four came by for brunch today. Waited about 20 mins for a table. Service was noticeably quick and good even before we sat down and got served. The hostesses were nice enough to take down the numbers of people in line, and actually called customers to let them know that their table was ready if they happened to not be around when their names were called. I'm not sure about you, but that's a service I don't see around much anymore.. it's usually, three shouts, and you're out. Between the four of us we got Steak and Eggs, Reuben Benedict, Crab Cake Benedict, and Biscuit and Gravy. EVERY DISH WAS GOOD. Gravy on the biscuits tasted like it was homemade with love. The corned beef on the Reuben Benedict were in actual slices and did not look like ground beef. The crab cake was orgasmic. And of course the potatoes... How can we forget the potatoes? Service was perfect! Patio dining is set up definitely to make their customers feel comfortable. Outdoor umbrellas and misters. My steak and eggs was cooked perfectly and lots of flavor. Avocado toast unfortunately was very bland. My girlfriend got the smoked veggie eggs Benedict to satisfy her gluten free lactose free and more diet and she was very pleased. Another girlfriend had crab cake Benedict and she loved it, nothing left on the plate. Food was awesome, had to sign in to get a table and wait about 25 mins but worth it and we were told to wait in the car. Service was awesome as well. Can't wait to return! read more

We don't live in Temecula but when we checked out our wedding venue we went here. This place is AWESOME! We went there on a Wednesday afternoon and it was packed! The food and service were excellent! Love the ahi bowl. My fiancé love his burger and we also get some biscuit and gravy. OMG soooo good! A perfect place to eat brunch! read more

My daughter and I were very disappointed. How do you mess up eggs? But they did. Mine were rubbery and had no flavor. My daughter didn't really enjoy her French Toast either. Not sure why there is such a long wait to eat at this place. read more

Stupid dumb long wait time. Not their fault but DAMN! They seat you outside right now due to covid. Food is OK...overpriced. Mimosas are weak (or maybe I'm an alcoholic? ) Either way...it's ok. This is absolutely my new favorite breakfast spot!!! The food is just absolutely out of this world! My kids and I are HUGE French toast people and this is by far the best French toast we have had at any restaurant. Great service and the food was fresh and delicious. Definitely worth going again or even making it a regular breakfast spot. The prices were in my opinion what you could expect in this era, and the portions are good so I didn't feel ripped off. I feel I got my money's worth. We were in town for a wedding and wanted to try a great brunch place. After a quick search, my party of 5 came here. For reference, it is located in the parking lot with Epic Wings and Cvs. We were quoted for a 30 minute wait on a Saturday at around 10 am, so expect this wait time if you have a similar size party. Parties of 2 were quoted at 20 minutes. They do have free WiFi while you wait. The instructions are a bit confusing to log on so just asked the hostess if you have issues. Our group ordered shared plates of chilaquiles, corn beef hash, crab cake Benedict, biscuits and gravy, and creme brûlée French toast. The highlights were the tender corn beef in the hash, and the French Toast. Although I was full, the French toast was the last thing I dug into, and I could not stop. It is SO amazing. It was sweet, but not too sweet and decadent. Cool brunch spot in you're in town. read more

Excellent food and a trendy, upbeat atmosphere. The Lavender honey chai tea latte was a dream. My avocado toast was scrumptious and I loved the adorable quail egg. It's so nice to have an upscale, interesting breakfast place in Temecula! Service was quick and efficient despite the crowd and the seating area was comfortable and felt spacious even though the restaurant was nearly full. I will be back! read more

The service has been wonderful!! I have had the sameAjj server both times. Dawn remembered me and greeted me with a smile. Such a wonderful touch. I have tried the Honey Lavender cappuccino wonderful choice and the salted Carmel latte hot. Did the pour over. I love the presentation!! Food choices Korean short ribs very tender and shrimps and grits. The shrimp and grits had to much in it. I don't do bell peppers in this dish. They were ok. I have had better. Now trying the chilaquiles verde and avocado toast. Let's hope it's amazing!! read more

I love the food especially my favorite creme brulee french toast but what sucks is, they have days when they dont accept takeout orders. I have called for takeout three times now (third one today, just a few minutes ago) but was told they are not doing takeouts today. Why even bother doing takeout ads when you cant do it all the time. I understand the business is doing great, a lot of people love and go to Toast but it's either 100% takeout or none at all or maybe NO TAKEOUT on weekends ever so you dont get disgruntled customers. Just sayin'. Addendum: just read owner's post and it says no takeout during weekends. Oh well, I guess I have to go really early or wait in line for more than 40 minutes to get my french toast fix. read more

BEST EVER BRUNCH SPOT! So many unique food and drink options. The restaurant puts a lot of love into everything they serve you. Terrell our service was very attentive, even with having so many tables. The timing of ordering and getting your meal was spot on. Bloody Mary's delicious, cotton candy champagne was fun (didn't make it too sweet), breakfast fries a must, even the coffee came with a funfetti biscotti! The French toast was delicious but very rich. And the pancakes has too much cream in between every pancake...recommend asking for lighter cream or some on the side so it doesn't overwhelm the pancake. We will be back!!!! read more

I went to toast for brunch. They had a good outdoor setup and were quick to seat people during this time. I ordered the crab cake Benedict and thought that it was so good. The crab cake was fresh (didn't taste fishy) and was perfectly crisp. I also thought the hollandaise, capers, dill, and egg were good balances to the fish. It also came with a side of potatoes. It wasn't my favorite since it wasn't super crispy and lacked flavor. They have a lot of other brunch items on their menu. I do want to try the mimosa flight next time I'm there! read more

What a great spot for breakfast! We went on a Tuesday, pretty busy but we were seated right away. Service was outstanding! Our waitress Bonnie (I think) was very quick and kind. Gosh the food was so mouth watering! We ordered chilaquiles & biscuits & gravy - both totally different worlds but equally delicious. The flight of champagne was tasty & colorful! Loved it. My friend told me such good things about the food so I had to go check it out. It must be so good that they have a long wait time. I follow a ketogenic diet so I am glad they did have keto friendly dishes. I ordered the steak and eggs with a side of salad and a water. The salad did have a sweet dressing so I actually didn't end up finishing it. The food was good I reach liked it. I mean u can't go wrong with steak and eggs. But idk if u would wait 1 hour for that lol I think they're mainly known for the Carby breakfast food so I can't speak on that but it did look good lol. After a great workout, I felt like a truly indulgent breakfast. I kicked around a few ideas before seeking Yelp!'s helping hand. Toast came right up, accompanied with great reviews and I eagerly went right over. **LOCATION:** In a shopping center. You'll need to turn into the shopping center and drive into it a bit. Parking is readily available, but consider that this establishment needs to share parking with other businesses, so if you choose to dine when the rest of the world is awake, you might not get to park right up front. It's also not the biggest restaurant. If you have a big party, I'd call ahead and keep the intimate setting in mind. **SERVICE:** I was greeted right away and seated promptly, so kudos to the staff. My server made great drink recommendations and was clearly familiar with the menu items. That's always a big help. **FOOD:** I started my meal with a nice cocktail (9 am PST, 5 o' clock somewhere!). I ordered the Soju Boy to start. Mango-y, but not too sugary sweet. It had a subtle freshly squeezed juice consistency. It was perfect! Next, I ordered the Corned Beef Hash. Served nice and hot in a cast iron skillet. Good presentation, flavor and food amount. I ordered mine with Egg Whites and enjoyed every bite. I was finished with my Soju Boy by the time my meal was served. My server promptly offered my another Soju Boy, but I decided to make the most of my visit and try another cocktail. He suggested the California Love to accompany my Corned Beef. It did not disappoint! The blend of favors and hint of avocado was a perfect match to my meal. Delicious spot! Probably going to be a new fav of our family. We've been meaning to come here for quite sometime but every time we came by, lines were out the door. I know why now! Delicious decadent food, excellent customer service and really cool boutique like drinks. We tried the creme brûlée French toast, avocado toast, coconut latte (my fav) and a salted Carmel latte! First time at Toast, came during the week as it's really hard to get a table on weekends. Ordered eggs and bacon with pecorino potatoes....meh, nothing really special, potatoes were cold and soggy, probably they make a big batch and keep them under a heat lamp, who knows. My wife ordered chile verde chilaquiles, they were very tasty, crispy and flavorful. Over priced mimosas with flat sparking wine, delicious coffee and biscotti. Service was very good and attentive. I'd give a 3.5 starts, since a I can't, I'm rounding down to 3. I think I'll be back and order something else, want to try eggs benedict. read more

Eh, it was okay. Long wait so we expected to be blown away and it was just meh. Crème brûlée French toast was just French toast with some sweet frosting. Everything we got was just okay. Prices are decent and lots of stuff sounded good so maybe there is something here to come back for but I wouldn't deal with the wait again. read more

Toast opened in Dec. 2017. As a family, we have seen a need for craft food in our area. After opening a successful restaurant in Old Town Temecula, 1909, we wanted to offer an all day brunch/lunch spot to guests in South Temecula. Our valley is notorious for chain restaurants, but we wanted to offer from scratch food made with love. Our family restaurant is truly a labor of love. From the tables, to the paintings, to the decor, all of it has been done by a family member or employee of one of our restaurants. We care nothing more about involving everyone in our restaurants! One thing that stands out to me is how diverse and knowledgeable the staff is. Many servers are well versed about Latin flavors, and it makes the experience feel more authentic, welcoming, and internationally minded, which is very important to me. The winery itself is beautiful - elegant, clean, and always impressive. The views are some of the best in Temecula (I think they even won an award for it). I'm proud to bring friends and family here when they visit from outside the country because it consistently leaves a great impression. I personally don't drink wine, but when I go with people who do they say it's very good. I also appreciate that they offer excellent non-alcoholic options. Their cappuccino is fantastic, and it's nice that people who don't drink (whether permanently, temporarily, or for health reasons) can still fully enjoy the experience. The food quality has always been excellent. I like high-protein meals, and the steak frites with chimichurri sauce is one of my favorites. Everything tastes fresh, high quality, and consistently well prepared. To start, our visit began on a positive note with a pleasant hostess who graciously escorted us to our seats. My husband and I perused the menu for quite sometime, before or waitress showed up, but she seemed somewhat flighty. She would pop in occasionally, only to disappear for prolonged periods. Unfortunately, this led to a few slip-ups, such as forgetting our extra items. The culmination of this was evident when we requested our check, only for her to head on break without addressing our request. At that point, we had to wait for another staff member to assist us with payment. The food experience was equally disappointing. The biscuits and gravy lacked flavor, rendering them bland and uninspired. Additionally, the avocado toast, priced at $19, seemed over-the-top as it was overloaded with toppings--a waste when the essence of the dish is simplicity. Now, onto the good stuff - the food! I had the avocado toast and it was delightful. I usually don't order Avocado Toast for brunch but this one looked so good I had to give it a try. Stumbled upon this gem t9day and can't say anything more than...amazing! Service is top notch. From the host, to our server, to the other servers that helped, everyone was friendly and helpful. Food is great as well! We ordered the radical stack, crab cake eggs benny, raspberry latte and the farm bloody Mary. All were outstanding. The radical stack is huge so you definitely didn't need a side. The farm is a meal within itself. One of the best bloody marys we've tried. The crab cake eggs benny were cooked to perfection and the caper hollandaise (I think that is what is on it) is delicious. Decor is also outstanding. We've celebrated many milestones in our lives here. they are recently under new management and all I can say is that this place is going downhill extremely fast. the food has had a drastic change in quality, the new servers are less friendly and attentive. This restaurant used to ooze friendliness , familiar friendly faces, consistency and community. Lately, that's completely gone. I hope ownership takes a step back and seriously reevaluates the direction they're taking. before they lose the loyal customers who helped build this business in the first place. Price is fair, but for a breakfast place a little pricy. Food is good. Would recommend the eggs Benedicts it is delicious. Would not recommend French toast. Food here better than your standard breakfast places, they know how to actually cook breakfast... if you order the right things. If you can get seated inside it is very loud and crowded. We went for the first time and they had ample outdoor seating set up with umbrellas to shield from the heat wave. There was a wait but they were doing their best to get people in. The food was delicious! This will definitely be our new go-to brunch spot. They had a little bit of everything to accommodate foodies and those that want more traditional fare! My boyfriend had the Tiramisu French toast and I had the Crab Cake Benedict. Both were delicious and beautiful! I was hesitant to try but had heard good things about it. They were right. It was a little loud, it was a little cramped, but the food and the service were worth it. When you walk in the door, you notice the ivy wall and the high booths. The keg beer wall also catches the eye. The tables are too close together and if the whole place wasn't so loud, you could definitely hear the neighboring tables conversation. That was really the only bad part of our experience there. First time I ate here was with a friend and the food was ok, atmosphere was busy crowded and the staff was busy but pleasant. The second time was the same but took a while for service and food was cold. The last time I was waiting for a table for over an hour, service was slow and thry had forgotten my order then when it arrived it was deseased. Got a twinge when I first tasted my mimosa and couldn't eat more than a single bite of my custom breakfast burrito. Was stomach sore with diarrhea for the rest of the day. One of the tastiest restaurants I've ever been too! The wait was only 25 minutes. Very friendly staff very nice restaurant and there was plenty of room outside patio dining area and inside. It was 10 minutes after we were seated before anyone even acknowledged us. Then, it was another 15 minutes after we ordered our drinks before they finally made it to our table. We recently visited Toast Temecula for the first time and absolutely loved it! We're regulars at the Murrieta location, so it was great to support the Temecula spot and see familiar faces while Murrieta is temporarily closed. The food was amazing, and the holiday cocktails were delicious. My husband especially loved the Shot for Tots specialty shot even better knowing the proceeds go to charity.
