Toastique 2-4 Garber Square Ridgewood, NJ 07450 Blue Mystique 3 Cheese Italian OG Acai Located on the corner of West Ridgewood Avenue and Garber Square is a gourmet café. Owner Laura introduced me to a few of the most popular menu items. Blue Mystique: This refreshing smoothie is blended with pineapple, banana, mango, and blue spirulina, which contributes to its solid aqua appearance. If you do prefer an alternative beverage, a variety of shots and juices are also an option. 3 Cheese Italian: It's time to take a virtual trip to Italy with this specialty toast. It has its fair share of prosciutto and melted cheeses and is piled high and deep with arugula on jalapeño cheddar toast. Have your utensils handy as you'll definitely need them for this fulfilling starter that practically eats like a meal. OG Acai: This bowl is plentifully packed with acai blend and is topped with multiple fruits, granola, and cacao nibs. You will be satisfied with every bite regardless of whichever topping you choose. As a bonus, a water cooler is available to supplement your meal. Feel free to purchase apparel ranging from hats to sweatshirts. My dining experience at Tostique was exemplary and unique. Thank you Owner Laura and staff for serving an outstanding meal along with top quality service. #toastique #toastiqueridgewood #ogacai #bluemystique #3cheeseitalian #ridgewoodnj #garbersquare #toastiridgewood

Really beautiful interior with ample seating both indoor and outdoor. The menu is pretty simple with drinks, açaí bowls, and loaded savory toasts. The Tuscan Tuna Toast was refreshing but a bit heavy on the sauces - however, the rustic bread was still crunchy and very delicious.

I loooove this place so much it's so cute!!!! I love the vibe here it's so healthy and yummy. It's super clean eating and I love the environment. The food is absolutely delish I love the toasts here which is what they are known for I love the bread they use it holds all of the yummy toppings! Their cold-pressed juices are also a standout: no sugar, no additives, no preservatives, no water... just pure fruits & veggies packed with nutrients.

The salmon toast and avocado smash topped with a poached egg are two of my favorite breakfast go to. You have a good portion mix between protein, greens iced one opened faced toast. It's refreshing and satisfying. We tried their matcha collagen latte and was slightly disappointed that the drink was only half full and the rest was mainly froth. It was more of a cappuccino level without the strength of the drink. It could be stronger in terms of matcha flavor but otherwise it is ok. Overall, I would go back for the toast. Public street parking or in the lots nearby.

I love these kind of cafes and I couldn't wait to give this one a try! When I arrived I found parking on the street nearby. I walked into a quick cafe. The owner was behind the counter and I ordered with her and she was nice. I had: Iced Brew Smoothie Defender Cold Press Tuscan Tuna Spicy Crab PB & B bowl I liked everything but my favorite was the spicy crab! It had nice spice and I truly enjoyed it. I also really enjoyed the cold pressed juice! All in all I had a really good experience!

Toastique in Ridgewood is awesome! The ambience is warm and inviting, the food is fresh and delicious, and the owner couldn't be more welcoming. A perfect spot for a great breakfast or brunch!-- conveniently, located across from the train station.

The food was fresh (how did they find a flawless avocado in the middle of winter???) and the flavors delicious. The service was outstanding -- weekend brunch was packed, and they put your name on a list in case you want to walk around town while you're waiting. Don't go too far, because somehow they're able to move the tables without making folks feel rushed. Each person we encountered -- the host, the folks at the counter, our server -- was nicer than the last. I got a bowl that had slightly cooked spinach, poached eggs, sweet potatoes and that GOHgeous avocado I mentioned above. One thing I really liked about this bowl is that it didn't have rice in it -- something that would've made it too overwhelming. This was the perfect combo and portion size. Someone else in our small group got the avocado toast (more avocado!!) and also said it was excellent. Definitely plan to return!

The interior of the restaurant was so nice, modern and well lit. There were outdoor seating area available as well. Other than street parking, they also had free parking spots at the rear side of the restaurant. We ordered the egg benedict, steak and egg, and pancake stack. They were served within a short time. Overall all the dishes were good. Steak was cooked well. But the pieces were thick. I wish it had more flavor. The chimichurri sauce on the steak saved the dish. Pancakes were fluffy and little sweet, my daughter liked it. The service was decent as well. Both the owners (father & son) were present at the restaurant, helping out rest of the staff. One of them stopped by our table to check on our dining experience. Overall we had a wonderful brunch time here.

This place is popping, and for good reason. The servers are quite attentive and always present so it's not hard to flag someone down if you need something. I noticed they were also quick to clear trash (like straw wrappers) from the tables frequently. The food is also really good - i recommend the k-chicken & waffles and the lemon ricotta pancakes w blueberry compote. They also have lots of fun drinks (both coffee/tea-based and fruity refreshers). Parking might be a bit difficult but if you're lucky you might find an open spot on the street right outside. Otherwise, there's a lot nearby as well.

We had several servers handling our order. To start, I had a hot tea with honey. The honey was an interesting consistency and was not as thick as expected. Seemed to be a little watery but the taste was good when mixed in my tea. For appetizer, we split the Crispy Ddukbokki which were sweet & spicy crispy rice cakes with a side of a soft boiled egg, topped with everything seasoning. We both really enjoyed the flavor of these rice cakes. For my main course, I had the Rainbow Salad with grilled chicken. The portion was very good and all of the veggies in the salad were super fresh. The presentation was very pretty. Parking can be a bit tricky but luckily we were able to find parking on one of the side streets. Overall a cute little breakfast/brunch place in the Glen Rock downtown. It does get very busy on weekends so reservations are a must.

What an adorable restaurant! If you are looking for a cozy, beautiful brunch spot, this is…read moredefinitely it. They do offer quite an array of brunch items. When we sat down, the server brought a small bowl of complimentary popcorn, which was a welcoming touch. My nephew ordered the short rib benny and he cleaned off the plate. He thought it was a savory bomb. I had him try their horchata, which was his first time trying, and he loved it. I ordered the Thai chicken salad. I like that they use Goffle Road chicken and it came out nice and tender. The veggies were fresh and good quality. I also thought the portion size was perfect. I asked for the dressing on the side and the dressing came in two small cups. One seemed to be a mix of soy and oil, I think there was a bit of sesame oil too. The other was a creamy dressing. I was expecting, nutty, sweet and savory dressing, but it was kind of bland mayo like dressing. The dressing would have also benefited from acid like lime juice. While I liked the salad, the dressing was a let down, so I'm not sure if I would order that dish again, The service was wonderful, everyone was smiling and our server was attentive. I would definitely try again and next time, looking forward to trying some of their brunch/breakfast dishes.

THE GOOD ----------------…read more+ PHENOMENAL FOOD!!!!! ++++ Miso Marinated Salmon - Was absolutely delicious. Salmon was cooked perfectly, wasn't dry and still moist. The citrus scented wild rice was excellent too. ++++ Truffle Burger - Honestly, one of the BEST burgers I've had in a longggggg, longgggg time. Everything was perfect about it - the caramelized onions, gruyere on top, bacon, truffle aioli, and, of course, the burger itself. The patty was dripppping with juices with every single bite and cooked to medium excellence. Oh, and those truffle fries that came with it? To die for! Loved the thinness of them and there was PLENTY of it to go around. ++++ Kids Macaroni & Cheese with Fruit - Relatively simple, but the creamy kind of mac and cheese. Kids absolutely loved it. The fruits were just grapes and a few little slices of pineapple, which we would have liked a bit more of. ++++ Kids Cheeseburger and Fries - Burger was DEFINITELY, without a doubt cooked well-done. It was a bit on the tiny side, but we still split it between the kids. Once again, fries were fantastic and there was more than enough to share. ++++ Banana-Rama Smoothie - Strawberry, banana goodness. Could definitely tell this was not artificial from the "true" flavor of the smoothie. It wasn't super sweet. + Service was very good throughout the evening. ++++ Food came out shockingly fast and fresh. ++++ Our waiter was friendly, on point and came by to check on us a few times. + Plenty of space inside of the restaurant, including an outdoor-indoor tent that is heated. + Decor was modern and contemporary, very clean inside. + Ambiance for dinner was dark and intimate, which caught me off guard because I thought it would be more casual, but perfect for group gatherings still and casual dine-ins. + PLENTY of parking in the large lot in front and to the side of the restaurant, which is shared within a little strip mall. + They take reservations online. THE NOT SO GOOD ---------------------------- - Nada! MIXED THOUGHTS --------------------------- = Nada! RANDOM OBSERVATIONS -------------------------------------- = Dined from 5:45 - 7:15 PM on a Friday and most of the evening crowd was older and there weren't many families with kids. There were maybe 2-3 families with kids, but they left by 6:15 PM. Most of the groups were groups of 4, seemingly catching up during a nice meal. CONCLUSION -------------------- = I was pleasantly surprised by the experience we had here. I figured this would be a super casual Friday after work/school dinner with the fam, but this turned out to be one of the best meals we've had in North Jersey in a while. Food, service and ambiance here was excellent. Wish they had .5 stars on Yelp because Saddle River Cafe is as close to perfection as it can get at 4.5 stars!
