    Avocado Smash Toast

The avocado toast was so good!! I'd never had watermelon fig before and was so eager to try it, and let's just say it did not disappoint! The crunch was a perfect addition to the rest of the toast, and their marinated tomatoes were genuinely delicious. I also got their "cure" juice which was also soooo yummy!! Service was great and the vibe of the place was super cute! Would def come back :)

The protein waffle - a huge portion. Topped with peanut butter and honey.

What a delightful spot for breakfast/brunch! Everything we had was delicious, fresh, and creative- they are serving flavor combinations that are unique and feel special. We ordered a blue smoothie for my kiddo that was delicious and such a fun color! We also ordered the protein waffle- a huge portion that boasts 45 g of protein! Incredible! I tried their summertime seafoam latte. Honestly one of the better lattes I've had recently! Delicious! We will definitely be back.

I have been wanting to try Toastique in Rocklin and my first takeout experience was great. I was greeted immediately upon walking in, and the worker handed over my order right away. The restaurant itself looked very spacious with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating available. As for the food, my avocado smashed toast with a poached egg was incredibly full of flavor, and the Tuscan tuna toast with a side of hard-boiled egg was delicious, especially with the balsamic vinegar adding a great extra kick. My latte with coconut milk and sugar-free vanilla syrup was also perfectly made. I will absolutely be back to try more of their menu items!

I was in the mood for something a little lighter and came across Toastique. It's tucked in the back of the shopping center. The directions drop you off around the corner. I thought they were closed but saw some movement inside. I then realized I was coming between lunch and dinner so it was probably just their slow time. Walked in and instantly felt at home. The vibe is very fresh and vibrant. I ordered the Smoked Salmon Toast and Detoxify juice. It has a to activated charcoal, coconut water, lemon and agave. Both items were fantastic. The price, however, was not fantastic. I spent $27 for these two items. I know there is justification because everything is fresh but it will definitely give me pause to consider coming back in the future. I know these kind of prices are becoming normal. Times were in I suppose.

Delicious!! This place is such a great find. The set up is sweet and relaxing. Literally everything on the menu looks delicious! The owners are sweet and kind as call be. I had the avocado smash toast with a poached egg, vanilla latte and Booster shot! I will absolutely be back! I went with 6 friends. Everyone ordered someone different and we all loved it!!

Smoked Salmon with egg & tomato ($20 Left), Tuscan Tuna ($16 Bottom), PBB Bowl ($14 Right), and I can't remember the other toast or drinks.

My friend showed me a video on IG so I wanted to try it. My friends and I went on a Sunday early afternoon and it was busy. The staff seemed overwhelmed and our orders came out so slowly one by one. I was worried my toast would get soggy waiting for all of our orders to finally come out but it held up well and I liked the toast. The Tuscan Tuna Toast didn't look very appetizing at first but it actually tasted pretty good. I also appreciated being able to find nutrition info online. The wooden board presentation was cute and everyone enjoyed their food. Main downside is it's pretty pricey. We also had to clean our own table, and there weren't enough real utensils so I ended up with a real fork and a plastic knife. Overall, still a good experience.

Tried Toastique in Rocklin and really enjoyed it. I had the smoked salmon toast and the dragonberry bowl -- both were very fresh, well balanced, and nicely presented. The toast had great flavor and texture, and the bowl wasn't overly sweet, which I liked. Service was excellent -- friendly, attentive, and efficient without feeling rushed. The space is clean, bright, and comfortable. Overall a solid spot for brunch or a light meal. Would definitely come back.

Treated a friend here for her birthday, and it was a first-time visit for both of us. From the moment we walked in, Alexis was incredibly patient, welcoming, and attentive. She walked us through the ingredients, answered our questions, and even let the birthday girl sample some of the pressed juices. We ordered the Smoked Salmon Toast and the 3 Cheese Italian Toast, and both were absolutely fantastic. The flavors were thoughtful, fresh, and beautifully balanced (the kind of toasts you'd be proud to make at home on your best day). The Italian toast, especially, had this perfect light balsamic coating on the arugula that tied everything together. Chef's kiss. It's a little spendy, but honestly, the quality matches the price in the best way. Thank you, Toastique, for helping me hit a home run on my dear friend's birthday. We'll absolutely be back!

Came here today and loved it. Staff was super friendly, the place is really nice inside, they serve alcohol which is a nice touch, and the food was refreshing and delicious with lots of options to choose from. IMO they're a little heavy handed on the sauce so I'll probably ask them to go light next time but other than that we loved it. Will definitely be back!

I was surprised by how busy it was when I went in. I saw a lot of people in gym wear, and noticed a boxing gym next door. I guess it's a healthy treat after a hard work out. I downloaded their app and received a birthday smoothie reward. Nice, as their regular sized smoothies are $11. I ordered the superfruit smoothie, which I enjoyed. I'll have to try one of their toasts or bowls next time if I'm in the area.

We finally got to check out the new spot in the Rocklin Commons, Toastique. The Seafoam Latte is what brought me here. We picked just the right time to go because after we ordered the line stayed long. We decided on: Iced Seafoam Latte - So pretty. The coffee was delish and the Seafoam (spirulina and vanilla) topping was different and such a nice surprise. I loved it! Iced Seafoam Matcha - Pretty. Looked like the Earth in my opinion. The girl said their matcha isn't sweet so she recommended adding vanilla. Even with the added flavor, it was not sweet at all. Peach Smoothie - Not sweet at all. But refreshing. Unicorn Yogurt Parfait - So colorful. The granola is stored separate in the cup so it doesn't get soggy or if you don't want to add it. It was delicious. It took awhile for our order to be ready but not surprised due to how busy them are. We sat inside and enjoyed our drinks and yogurt. I'd love to go back for another Seafoam Latte!!!

Stopped in during the week to try out this new spot in Rocklin! The location has plenty of parking & inside is very cute and aesthetic! Staff was very friendly and informative but a bit slow to bring our food out despite them not being busy. The food tasted very fresh and of good quality but for the portions felt a bit overpriced in my opinion!

Review #100! Thrive…read moreNutrition & FITClub offers FREE Cardio Drumming and Strength Training classes Monday through Saturday. As of summer 2022, 1-hour weekday classes have been 6 pm, and Saturday classes are 8 AM Strength Training and 9:30 AM Cardio Drumming. Strength training classes are on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays. It is suggested you bring your own mat and hand weights, but there are some provided in class. This was my first experience with cardio drumming. Caroline is our beautiful, fit instructor. It's super fun and clever way to get in your steps and cardio effortlessly. Class is clearly popular and addictive with a loyal following. My favorite routines are the ones with salsa and arm movements. Cardio drumming classes are on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. Cardio drumming involves using drumsticks to pound on an exercise ball on top of a laundry tub set to the music. You might stretch, squat, lunge, or dance in front your ball/tub set-up at times. You might lower yourself to pound on the laundry tub. You might be pounding the exercise ball to the left or right your own ball. Some people run around the ball as they drum. Here's a video clip: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WTnjelSLoBA If you want to pick the perfect spot to exercise for cardio drumming, arrive 30-45 minutes early. Beginners should start in the 2nd row or further back and be centered to have people in front, behind, left, and right of them to copy. The instructor and experienced cardio drummers stand in a line in the front of the classroom. Regular class attendees can often tell you are new and will greet you and help you get set up. There is no formal sign-in sheet, I don't think. Thrive is located in Sierra Meadows Plaza, where BarnBurner, Jing Jing, Kathrin's Biergarten, Wally's, and Sushi Kakogan are located. It isn't hard to find a parking space, but if you're bringing your own equipment, you might want to find a closer spot. Arrive at least 10-20 minutes early if you want to place an order for the shake service or mega tea. Shake service consists of 3 drinks: a pre-workout aloe shot, an energy & metabolism tea during workout, and a post-workout high protein, low calorie shake. Most shakes are 200-250 calories and 24 g protein! You can also place your order ahead of time: Call 916-259-1964 or text 916-835-2228. As of summer 2022, shake service costs $11.50. You can order a 2-drink service of the aloe shot and tea for $3.50. The energy and protein powders are Herbalife brand. Rhonda Hansen and Char Avila are co-owners with the Tsutakawas and skillfully handle the food and drink orders. Rhonda impressively memorizes your name over time as she takes your orders without any formal introduction! Aloe shots come in 3 flavors: Mango, Cranberry, and Mandarin. Mango is my favorite. The energy and metabolism teas come in these flavors: Original, Lemon, Peach, Raspberry, Pomegranate, Green, Chai, Cinnamon, and NRG. Raspberry is the customer favorite. Shakes comes in over 80 flavors!!! These are some customer favorites: #15 Butter Pecan #34 Coffee Toffee Crunch #39 Cinnamon Toast Crunch #19 Chocolicious #67 Chocolate Butter Pecan #23 Reese's Peanut Butter Cup I enjoyed #26 Cherry Garcia, my very first shake, and a sample of #50 Banana Split. Craig's favorite shakes include: #12 White Chocolate Caramel #39 Cinnamon Toast Crunch #48 Banana Nut Muffin #80 Lemon Pound Cake (+$1 for juice) #53 Raspberry Lemonade (+$1) There are seasonal and holiday flavors. Ask for the Secret Menu, or look for a specials menu. From Facebook, I gathered this information on special menu items: #80 Lemon Pound Cake #81 Candy Cane (winter) Pumpkin shake flavors are available in the fall, starting in September: #74 Pumpkin Cheesecake #77 Pumpkin Latte #85 Pumpkin Pie #86 Pumpkin Toffee Cheesecake #95 Pumpkin Toffee Popular Mega Tea flavors include Pink Lady, Watermelon Jolly Rancher, Summer Breeze, and Beauty and The Beast. Pink Lady and Summer Breeze are Caroline's favorite mega teas. On Sundays, you can order a Waffle Bowl Sundae, a breakfast shake made with 1/2 of a hot protein waffle. 31 grams of protein and 350 calories. Thrive also sells protein cookies in a variety of flavors. They also sell protein donuts on Tuesdays. Group photos or videos are taken every class. Most people are unmasked in this indoor class. Hand sanitizer, masks, and disinfectant spray and wipes are by the cash register. I'd recommend taking a fun trip to Guitar Center in Roseville to choose and purchase your own drumsticks from a huge selection. I got Size 5A drumsticks. 5B is thicker. Timbale sticks are similar to Cardiostix. However, Thrive has plenty of equipment if you don't buy want to buy your own. The free cardio drumming classes got me start exercising again after a torn calf muscle, so thank you very much to Caroline and Craig Tsutakawa for getting me into Thrive. What a wonderful, generous, and healthy contribution to our community!

Unfortunately, our visit on Friday, 8/28/26 was incredibly disappointing. The young woman working the counter seemed either very new or simply in need of additional support, because something was definitely off operationally. First, the vanilla machine was down, so that option was unavailable. Of course, that was no fault of hers and completely understandable. However, when my husband and I walked in, we were the only customers there. I'm still fairly new to the Pressed community and didn't have my membership barcode readily available. I was spending about $40, so I asked if she could look up my account using my phone number. She told me she couldn't. That honestly felt absurd and unnecessarily unhelpful. At places like Jamba, Starbucks, and countless other businesses, there is usually some alternative way to assist a customer when they don't have their barcode immediately available. Nonetheless, we placed our order. By the time we finished, two additional parties had come in, and she proceeded to take their orders before preparing ours. Fine. I understood that she was working the counter alone, and when someone is managing both the register and fulfillment, customers have to allow them some grace and time to balance both. The problem was that she never seemed to make that transition. As she continued taking orders, more customers entered, and she simply kept ringing people up without preparing any of the outstanding orders. The small lobby became increasingly crowded while completed orders remained nonexistent. My husband and I had an appointment and were already pressed for time. At one point, he tapped me and asked, "Is it always like this? Is she ever going to start making the orders so people can get out of here?" I finally asked her about the wait and mentioned that our order still hadn't been started. She told me she "needed to take all of the orders first." I asked, "Is that Pressed policy?" She said yes and continued ringing up several more customers before finally beginning our order. That made absolutely no sense to me. If that is truly Pressed policy, I would strongly encourage management to reconsider it. If it isn't, then this employee needs additional training on how to manage the counter efficiently when working alone. There has to be a reasonable rhythm--perhaps take two orders, fulfill two orders, then return to the register. Continuing to accept order after order while an increasingly crowded lobby waits for anyone's food to actually be made is inefficient and creates unnecessary frustration for everyone. As a business owner myself, I would have cringed watching the customer experience unfold this way. It wasn't simply that the location was busy; it was the lack of effective multitasking and workflow that created the backup. I've enjoyed Pressed enough that I'm not writing off the brand because of one poor experience, but this visit definitely missed the mark. And unfortunately, it was my husband's first impression. His final assessment was: "All this for some non-dairy ice cream? I'll pass." Not exactly the introduction to Pressed I was hoping to give him. I especially like that this version makes it clear you're not attacking the employee personally--you're calling out the lack of training, workflow, and customer service, which makes your complaint much stronger. Hopefully the next time I return, Cam will be there. She was a great front face for Pressed. I have to give Pressed a 2 stars for today. Subpar service, no vanilla, and long wait time. Hopefully next time will be better, and I'll get it points.

Located directly on Rocklin Rd. and just west of I-80, this tiny coffee shop has been opened for business since October 2024. Since I was passing through this area, I decided to pay a visit during the morning of Friday 8/22/2025 at around 10:50am. I will say that the exterior is absolutely amazing as a ton of work went into making everything come to life. The white colored stone work complete with a variety of seating options really looks wonderful. Additionally, there is a little hidden rear seating area complete with an umbrella and enough seating for five. The inside is very small, quaint and cozy though with seating for around 3-4 guests. The menu offers a huge variety of coffee/espresso classics as well as juices, teas, and seasonal options depending on what time of year it is. Their food options consist of pastries (muffins, Danishes, croissants, etc.) as well as bagels, breakfast sandwiches, and English muffins. Since I was in the mood for food & drinks, I decided to go with one of their "Iced Horchata Lattes" and a "Bagel, Egg, & Cheese Bagel" with Everything seasoning on it. Total price came to around $17; quite pricey for just a quick simple breakfast. Since there was only one person working there (as well as other customers ordering + DoorDash orders coming in), it took around 10 minutes to receive both the bagel & latte. I will say that I did not care for the latte at all; and I am not a picky coffee drinker. Sadly, this was so watered down to a point where I could not taste the espresso while the Horchata flavor was almost nonexistent. The bagel though was hearty, delicious, and absolutely hit the spot which is one of the main reasons to give this place an above average rating. All in all, "New Brew Cafe" was a positive (but not great experience). The coziness, decor, ambiance, and aesthetics were spot-on. But the taste of my coffee was such a let down. However, I am still giving this small business an above average four-star rating as the employee worked solo in making sure every customer was being served. Will I be back? Probably not. But definitely give them a try since they have a huge variety.

However, when we started asking questions about the menu, it felt like she wasn't really in the mood to help us -- which made it a little bit awkward. The menu was hard to read and the options were confusing. That said, take this review with a grain of salt. We didn't try the coffee, just the protein shakes. We ordered one vanilla and one chocolate, both with peanut butter powder added. Unfortunately, they were packed with too much ice and lacked flavor. Honestly, we weren't even sure if any protein powder was actually in there. We'll probably come back another time to try the coffee itself, but the combination of the subpar shakes and the off-putting service left a bad taste in my mouth, both literally and figuratively.
