Stopped here for breakfast before the Water St market. It was busy but didn't take long to get our food. We ordered the Benedict and avocado smash toast. The toast came out on a small cutting board which was not very practical but aesthetically it was pretty. We had to ask for a knife to cut the toast and things just went everywhere. They had run out of English muffins early for a Sunday so I got the Benedict on toast. It was good but I had to reach over and get my own silverware as it was just placed on the counter for me to get. Overall it wasn't bad. We'd probably come back for a coffee and snack.

We stopped in for a quick coffee one night while we were talking through water street looking at the lights. Cute vibes and the food menu looked yummy though we didn't order anything to eat. The staff behind the counter was really nice - we ordered some hot chocolate for my daughter and a couple of coffees for ourselves, perfect for a chilly night in November. The inside decor is really cute with a moss mural and bright walls, it feels inviting and was clean when we visited. We'll be back to try some of the food soon ;)

First visit to Toastique was a chill vibe. Love the music being played here during my visit. The Gingerberry smoothie was a delicious healthy treat to enjoy while in store. I also purchased the recharge juice consisting of beet, carrot, apple, orange & ginger to go. The service was great. Toastique has a lot to offer!

Tried Toastique in downtown Tampa. I ordered the 3 cheese Italian toast. It came with an onion jam, arugula, and prosciutto. The flavors all went really well together and the bread was crispy, yet soft at the same time. Only complaint is that there's not enough seating in the restaurant.

I had been wanting to check out Toastique for a while now and finally got the chance to do so and now I totally understand what the hype is about! The vibe of the place, the service, the food and drinks- all amazing. I went after a 5k so I wanted something fresh and good after a long run and this was the perfect stop. Everything was so fresh and delicious, but the French toast was the beeeeeessssttttt. I would go back and have that in a heartbeat!

The latte was quite milky so not strong but ok. Now the spicy crab toast, I don't know how healthy it really is but it's friggin delicious and uses real crab and is the right amount of spicy! Toastique is where carbs go to Harvard and toppings marry rich. My Caprese toast looked like an art exhibit, my salmon toast had more layers than my last relationship, and the blue latte? Elsa from Frozen-approved. Expensive? A little. Worth it? Also yes.

Such a cute spot in the heart of downtown. The menu had so many options that sounded delicious, but had to make a decision and the burrato yelled at me. The thickness of the bread was perfect and the crunch was spot on. Had a nice balance of sweet from the balsamic and salty from the cheese and tomato. Perfect brunch item. And paired well with the ice vanilla latte. Service was quick and friendly. Staff made the order correct and was ready in a reasonable time. Will definitely be back to try more off the menu!

Walking into Toastique in Downtown Tampa feeIs super modern with bright lightening, and a fresh clean feel. The space is "instagram worthy" without trying hard. The workers were polite and really helpful with helping me pick out juices. I landed up ordering two Smoked Salmon toasts along with two cold pressed juices, Recharge and Defender. It's a bit pricey but considering it's located downtown then it's about average pricing, especially for food that's healthy. In my opinion it's worth it, especially trying to eat vegetarian/vegan/gluten free its easier and stress free doing that here. The Smoked Salmon toast was the best thing ever and the salmon melted in my mouth with every bite, it was so good! The juices were light and energizing and definitely was a good pick me up. I love that everything is always so fresh when I come here and I always come here when I'm in Tampa!

When we dined in it wasn't busy at all so I had a lot of time to put in my order and advise the woman helping me that I had Celiac Disease and was gluten-free. I was assured they had gluten-free bread and the open faced sandwiches were prepped and made on their own paper and heated up so there shouldn't have been an issue with cross contamination. So I proceeded to order two open faced sandwiches (gluten-free) which was the spicy crab toast and the 3 cheese Italian. I ordered a green juice as well. Before I concluded the order I asked my husband who was beside me, do you want anything and he said no just a iced coffee. So we are waiting for our food. It comes out and I am cutting into the 3 Cheese Italian toast and the bread doesn't feel like gluten-free bread. It 100% feels and looks like regular bread. I have already touched it with my bare hands and my knife and fork so I hand it to my husband and ask him to taste the bread and he confirms it's regular bread. I look at the other toast and the bread on that one looks like gluten-free toast and it looks completely different in color and texture. So, he takes the other toast back to the counter and advuses the woman they gave me regular bread. SHE PROCEEDS TO TELL MY HUSBAND THAY IS WHAT HE ORDERED. My husband tells her, no I didn't order anything, my wife did and I was standing beside her the whole time and I never opened my mouth until the end to ask for iced coffee. He tells her again, "she has Celiac Disease, why would she order one gluten-free and they other not gluten-free?" So despite the fact that this woman is 100% wrong she is waving the receipt around arguing with my husband saying it's what we ordered despite the fact that that I didn't. She never apologized. She and the other employee there showed no concern for the fact that I could have eaten it or that I had already touched it. They didnt even direct me to a bathroom to wash my hands. When I did find the bathroom THERE WERE NO PAPER TOWELS ans then they looked annoyed with me for asking for napkins to dry my hands! This was one of the most frustrating situations and she was completely rude about it. What is funny is I even have the recording of her arguing with my husband despite her being dead wrong. This made me lose confidence in this establishment completely as someone with Celiac Disease I can't feel safe eating here when something as simple as this was messed up and we were the ONLY CUSTOMERS in the restaurant. My review of the actual food...it was mid. It wasn't any better than anything anyone could make at home. It makes sense to eat there if you want a healthy option on the go, but to go out of your way and pay for parking at Water Street for a sandwhich that doesn't even taste fresh (tasted like old delicious meat from a package, the prosciutto was tough) is not really worth it. May I also add the crab on the other toast was stale and not fresh tasting. But the employees arguing with us after I spent 10 minutes talking to her about my dietary restrictions is what took the cake.

I was attending a conference, I and tried the iced coffee brew smoothie and it was pretty good. The aesthetics of this location are very nice, but did not match the customer service. Although they were pretty busy, they were not very friendly .....professional just not friendly the food displayed, in other reviews look really good but I did not try them at this time. I definitely will come back to try the other drink options that they have they do look as if they are made fresh.

Friendly staff. Cute atmosphere right by the Channelside / Sparkman area. Cold pressed juice was 10/10, the açaí bowl was probably a 7/10. I would have liked more fruit, but I may have selected the wrong one. Worth giving it another go. read more

Where has this płace been all my life?! From all the varieties of freshly pressed (non pasteurized) juice you could imagine to various kinds of open faced toast, this place feels like home to me. The modern farmhouse decor adds to the feeling even more. I ordered the tomato burrata toast and the recharge (beet, carrot, apple, orange, ginger) juice. The avocado toast is wonderful at toastique! I recommend adding the buratta or an egg. While the food was good, ordering was a bit challenging. I wanted an iced coffee. And the girl at the counter kept trying to make it a latte. Even after I clarified I only wanted coffee on ice. We had a child in my party and he wanted something's excluded from his order. Thankfully it came out great, and he loved it. But ordering wasn't easy. I would recommend toastique. But be specific when placing your order. read more

I was waiting to write a review until I tried all of the different juices and smoothies so that I could be at least accurate in my review. I also wanted to give them a chance to fix any of the issues from being newly open. I live nearby, so I walk here pretty often. All of their juices are excellent. They won't always taste EXACTLY the same, but that's probably because they are made fresh. Even the pre-bottled juices are good if you don't want a cup and straw. I think they could go for a thicker straw. I appreciate wanting to save the environment, but I also appreciate it when my straws don't crack LOL. Their salmon toast is legitimately amazing, which is probably because of the quality of their salmon. I tried a couple other toasts that were decent, but the salmon one is the best in my opinion. Sometimes if they are really busy, the order that the drinks and food come out aren't always in the order that they were taken, but that isn't a big deal. Get over it. You'll live. It's a nice environment, both inside and out, so just take a seat and relax and enjoy the ambiance while you wait (if you even have to wait). I have personally never waited more than 10 minutes. The people that work here are excellent and always friendly and helpful. They will give you juice samples before you pick which one you want to. Some people that live in the area can be quite rude and entitled, so I could see why some people might have different impressions of this aspect. Smile, be nice, say please and thank you, and they will be nice back. Definitely come try this place! read more

Ordered the metabolizer juice which had cucumber, jalapeño, pineapple, apple & mint. Then I ordered the dragonberry açaí bowl. Both are a 10/10!! The ambiance is very tranquil, & the woman who worked on Wednesday morning at 8:30 on 3/27/2024 was incredible. She was so friendly, had great repor with consistent customers, helped me choose a drink based on my likings, all while training another worker! I'll definitely be coming back! read more

I work in channelside so I've been seeing all the new restaurants pop up on Water Street over the past year or so and I've been making sure to check them off my list! Toastique was the most recent one to open so I went for lunch with a coworker. Toastique has a sleek, chic look in the interior. They have smoothies, açaí bowls, and toast, along with some other items in that realm. It's definitely a little bit pricey for some avocado toast, but I was pretty happy with the size of mine and it filled me up for lunch. I got the burrata toast which had delicious fresh tomatoes, burrata, basil, and a balsamic glaze on top. A friend of mine got the avocado smash which I felt like would be their signature toast, but the taste was actually a little off and I definitely liked my burrata toast more than the avocado one. Was surprised that the avocado toast wasn't great but I was happy with what I ordered! read more

I've been waiting for a quick breakfast restaurant to open on water street, and Toastique is a great option! There are SO many options to pick from, such as Tuscan Tuna, Tomato Burrata, and my favorite, the avocado smash. I added a delicious egg to it, and it was the perfect combination of spicy and sweet. It was overflowing with avocado, so I definitely felt like I was getting a lot for what I ordered. I'll be coming back to try their delicious looking smoothies and bowls! read more

Great little spot. We came on a Saturday morning and it was very busy. We were able to get a seat and ordered right away, but still waited at least half an hour for our small order. They ran out of poached eggs while we were waiting too and offered boiled instead as the only option. read more

While our Sunday girls walk. We came across this place and immediately felt hungry. I loved how cute the restaurant was and the food options looked lite and lots of healthy options. Service on this visit was lacking, since it was our first time we didn't know that they would either call us up or bring the food. No one took our names and we sat there for a solid 15 -20 mins for our toasts to be made. We kept walking up and waiting but there wasn't much direction given by the staff. But when the food finally arrived it was perfectly made and beautiful executed. My avacado toast with poached egg on sourdough hit the spot! Sweet tomatoes, evoo,salt and some herbs that was a fantastic mix. I loved the moss wall and all the interior designs. This little spot seemed to be off the beaten path. Its was the first time seeing it while walking around waterstreet. If you're in the mood for some healthy bites and pre made drinks.this was a wonderful visit and hit the spot. read more

I'm now a repeat customer of several times. The coffee is absolutely delicious. I got a iced latte with light honey and a cappuccino with lavender have not tried their food yet but the avocado toast look delicious. It is a smaller seating area better for a grab and go. Customer service has been pretty decent every time I've been. Absolute wonderful location Right on water Street !!! highly recommend checking this place out read more

When I saw the name of this place, it honestly thought who in the world goes out for toast! Boy, was I wrong. We joined them for their grand opening. They were speedy and ready to serve the long line of folks anticipating the opening. We ordered a latte, Burrata toast with prosciutto, and avocado toast with egg. Visited this location b/c the companies IG account looks great. Coffee was decent (ordered macchiato and flat white). Service was fair. The atmosphere was not what we were expecting - it was very loud and obnoxious. We were highly disappointed in the food. Ordered 2 avocado toasts and found small pieces of hair in the food. The staff tried to make it right by making a new one but the experience was already diminished by the occurrence. Would not return after feeling completely turned off. read more

Tried this place out for the convenience of it being under my building. Cool location and nice storefront however limited space. Do not expect to be served under 30 min. Ordered a hot coffee and received iced. Asked for a to go order and had to specify that it be boxed. For 32.00 USD you would expect a higher attention to detail and quality of service. Overall food is underwhelming as there is a limited amount that can be done with "artisanal" toast. Takeaways: -overpriced -slow - lack of care/attention -underwhelming read more

gave this place a second chance with my family. we ordered 2 orders of toast and a yogurt parfait. the parfait had mold on it and they were kind to remake it, but 3 orders that came in after us got their food before us. when we finally got our toast, they totally disregarded my moms gluten allergy and gave her the wrong toast saying "well it didn't say it on there". put the remake on the line and took an additional 10 minutes while still prioritizing other people's toast first. for what was supposed to be a quick breakfast it took about 45 minutes to get 2 orders of toast. one lady with brown hair was very apologetic but the lady on the register/coffee line was rude about it, still both did nothing to help the situation. read more

I was excited to try this new restaurant but was very disappointed in the service. I requested gluten free bread and when handed to me, I asked to confirm it was gluten free after waiting almost 30 minutes for my order that had been forgotten. She looked at me and said it wasn't specified that it was gluten free. They offered to remake it and again after almost 20 minutes of waiting and multiple other customer orders going out it was finally made. There are a lot of choices around to eat and when the service sucks, I will go elsewhere. read more

By far the biggest surprise on our last visit. My daughter lives nearby and mentioned she wanted to try Toastique. We give 5 stars and say "go". Toastique is immaculate! The service is friendly and respectful and the food is made with love! Great gluten free options too. No need for pictures, just go and see for yourself. Toastique is a gem! We can't wait to go back.
