It was delicious though as it was seasoned with sesame oil. 2) pork hock - first time we've had Korean pork hock from a restaurant. It was quite good. The dish came with two dipping sauce, jalapeno peppers and garlic slices. It came with a plate of romaine lettuce. Then the server brought us another plate of sesame leaves. This made me happier because there weren't many romaine leaves on the plate! 3) two bowls of rice - it was a slightly healthier version compared to plain white rice. We only received one side dish, which was somewhat of a disappointment as side dishes are one of the things we love about going to a Korean Restaurant. We're used to getting 3-4 side dishes every single time we go to a K restaurant: therefore, getting only one was disappointing.

This was stirred fried with cabbage, onions, bean sprouts broccoli, and green onions. The portion of the meat was a little less for this, we found that there were more cabbage/onions compared to the meat. [ RICE CAKE / KARAAGE ] The deep fried rice cakes had a nice soft and chewy texture, but crispy on the outside. The batter for the chicken karaage was a little hard, but the meat wasn't dry. Both were topped with mayo and a tangy (tonkatsu?) sauce. [ SOUP ] A soup of the day comes with the meal and we got ox bone soup. This was literally the highlight of the meal! I recently saw a few foodies post about this spot so I assume they're going to get pretty busy soon. I will try and get a group of friends next time so we can try more things. Meat was good, but a little too saucy. Beef Soondubu - generous portion. Son enjoyed it. Beef Dol Sot Bibimbap - also very generous. Pot was extremely hot, so the rice was extra crispy on the bottom. Came with miso soup. Very filling. Hubby ordered the Spicy Seafood Spaghetti (aka Jampong), which was decent. A little sweet, but plenty of seafood, and the texture of the noodles were good. And Kalbi Tang - this one got extra points b/c hubby loves piping hot soup. Broth was so tasty. The meat however, could have been cooked longer. Should be falling off the bone. What made the situation even more frustrating was that customers who arrived approximately 10 minutes after us were seated at a booth, even though there were only two of them as well. They were immediately provided with plates, cutlery, and glasses of water, while we continued to be completely overlooked. At that point, I became so frustrated that I simply got up and left. I understand that restaurants can be busy and that there may be a system for seating guests, but customers should still be acknowledged and served in a fair and timely manner. Unfortunately, this experience left me feeling ignored and unwelcome. Customer service is an important part of the dining experience, and in this case, it fell well below my expectations.
