My husband ordered the short ribs. He enjoyed his dish but wished there were some vegetables in it. My favorite part was the complimentary bread. So warm and delicious. We came for my husband's birthday, so they actually prepared a small piece of chocolate mousse cake with candle for him after our meal, which was a nice surprise! It was very good--not too sweet. Service was also excellent. Gratuity is already included into your bill, and they're kind enough to remind you of it when giving you the check.

Empty glasses and dishes were left sitting, and we constantly felt like we had to flag someone down to get any attention. I understand that large parties come with an automatic gratuity, and I have no issue with that. But if you're going to automatically charge a service fee, the service should at least reflect that level of gratuity. Unfortunately, it didn't. The atmosphere was nice, but that can only carry a restaurant so far. Between the burnt paella, bland food, inattentive service, and having to repeatedly ask for basic things, the experience was not worth the price. There are plenty of better options in Palo Alto. Not sure if I would return anytime soon which is sad because I remember this was one of my more favorite spots on my list.
