Friendly attentive service was experienced by everyone there. We were first-timers but felt welcome. The dark wood and green furniture seemed suited. A pleasant place for lunch. Ordered soup (creamy green chile), a wedge salad, and the Tuesday special meatloaf that came with mash potatoes, steamed veggies, the most wonderful dark gravy, and warm bread. It was all great! The star of the show was actually the gravy, so full of flavor. The wedge was fresh and crisp with maybe a couple too many ingredients for my taste. The soup was "creamy" by title but not as creamy as I expected, and that's actually good. Wonderful flavor. The potatoes were really good too. Portions. Price. Everything met or exceeded expectations. We will certainly be back, probably for lunch again. One last thing: we had a couple leftovers and, I'm surprised I'm saying this, but it was packed up extraordinarily well. Meatloaf in one carton, potatoes in another, a small cup of extra gravy in a separate container. I mean who does that? So considerate. Great attention to detail. Highly recommended.
