I've had a total of 4 Cadillac's throughout the years and EVERY single time I have ever brought any of my vehicles to be serviced here, they come home with even more problems or I'm told there's problems that aren't even true. I'm positive that they have torn the serpentine belt on my 2013 ATS last December, because I got a brand new belt the month prior to dropping it off to be serviced for something minor. The very next day after I pick up my vehicle for the minor servicing, I'm driving around town and my car overheats. I get someone to look under my hood and the belt is completely snapped. What are the odds of a month old belt snapping right after I leave the dealership for a minor, unrelated repair? That belt was put on professionally at a Chevrolet dealership so I know the installation is not to blame. I brought my 2014 CTS for a basic inspection two months ago and they tell me that my engine was leaking oil and I needed a new timing chain. I told my father and he thought that was odd, so we took my car to two more certified places to get a second opinion and both places said my car was not leaking anything and I did not need a timing chain. Then. last week I dropped off my current vehicle (another 2014 CTS) for making some odd, loud noises when making turns and they said that something underneath the car was bent, so they unbent it and I went on my way. I had to go back 3 days later because another noise had began and this one was even worse. They tell me it's because the sway bar is loose, which doesn't make much sense because that was a brand new sway bar. He wanted to charge me for an additional diagnostic even though I just had one 3 days prior. While I'm there I hear another customer yelling at an employee for giving him inaccurate diagnostics on his vehicle. Now, the shocks are all of a sudden horrible on my car, I can feel any little bump in the road and it makes driving very uncomfortable. This was not an issue before I went to the dealership for the initial noise. I take great care of my vehicles so for there to be so many problems, one after another, immediately after I leave the shop for minor repairs, it sounds to me that they create larger problems so they can have more jobs. They fix (or barely fix) the initial problem you complain about and then loosen something to cause another problem so you can come back in next month and essentially give them more pay. I am considering taking this up with the BBB as I think their customer's safety should be above there hunger for labor. Do not ever take any of your vehicles to this Cadillac service department if you value honesty, integrity, your safety and your wallet. read more

I ordered All Weather mats for my new Escalade on 11/23/2023. The next day I received an email saying this are out of stock and be ready to ship in 4 weeks. At week 5 I left a message with order number checking on the status. Never heard back. Week 6 I left another message with order number and never heard back. Week 7 I actually got a hold of somebody in parts and they said "let me transfer you" where I had to leave another message with order number and never heard back. It is now week 11 and I still can not get an update on where these mats are that I should have received 6 weeks ago. You can't tell me in nearly 3 months they haven't had inventory updated. So back in May we took our XT5 there for some warranty work on the sunroof and check on the radio would not connect to the XM . We told them we needed a loaner car. They told me they didn't have one at that time, but would notify me when they had one. They dropped me off at the house.around 11-13 o'clock they called and said they ordered the part for the sunroof and it would not be ready until tomorrow.As for the radio issue it was the antenna which was not covered and it would be around 900 dollars to replace it. I called around 4:30-5:00 o'clock to ask the status of a loaner and the tell me our car is ready. We have it dropped off at the house and the sunroof doesn't work correctly. Have to take it back. Then now in Oct I'm looking and buy an antenna on line for 52 dollars when I went to put the new one in the problem was the wire was not connected at all. It has worked perfectly since. The certified per owned plan is why I chose to go to a Cadillac dealer and I was not disappointed. John had the car I came to see parked out front with in minutes of my arrival but then took the time to go through their inventory to see if there was a better deal available. There was a car with 20K miles for significantly less money. I love the car. Came to Tom Peacock because I have experienced abysmal service from Big Star (off 45 south). This clown show is not any better than Big Star, so I am led to believe Cadillac is joke for servicing their vehicles. It took 3 hours for an oil change. They realized I was not happy and waved the cost to me but what about my time? And then followed up with excuses of how they couldn't get my filter off. I should have known what the experience was going to entail as I walked in and seen some of the employees from Big Star. Hopefully the cancer doesn't spread from Big Star to ruin Tom Peacock- but looks like it is too late. I have a 2017 ATS. My ac has been out 4 times and every time it's something different or they are not even fixing the real problem from the get go. It has been in 3 times in this past year for ac work. They give half ass service jobs. I would have taken my car in ALOT sooner but they never have any loaners!!! I always call and make a reservation for a loaner and every time I get there the front desk ladies don't know what I'm talking about or have my reservation. This last time they forgot to put half of my dashboard back together. Now I have to go back up there again for another trip. Half ass service jobs. Ok. No one dreads buying a car more than me. I'd rather get a root canal. But,not anymore. I'm not sure if Tom Peacock's way is the new way of buying cars or if its just their way, but either way, it was painless. Jenny Mendez was my sales consultant. We started with the usual inquiry and follow-up emails game. That seemed par for the course. But then, she offered to drop off an Escalade for my wife to try out. Drop off? Really? I wouldn't have to step foot in the dealership and "meet the sales manager"? True to her word, she drove all the way out to Bellaire and dropped off a brand new Escalade. My wife drove it for a week. (Of course loved it.) But, we were also considering a Mercedes GL. (They actually let her take one also, but only for a couple of days.) Jenny followed up (no pressure) and asked what we thought. We asked to see a different color and guess what? Jenny drove a different one to my wife and swapped them out. Needless to say, we chose the Escalade over the GL. Within a day or two, Jenny had our vehicle-- black with Kona interior (and I added black wheels). Of course we had to talk numbers. Being busy as hell at work, I knew it would be a while before I'd be able to make it out to the dealership (which I dreaded anyway.) "No problem", said Jenny. She drove out to my office and went over the numbers. The numbers were fair and so was the trade-in offer. I told her I'd buy the vehicle. But still, I'd have to drive out to the dealership to sign the documents and deal with some additional sales pressure, right? Nope! Jenny had the car cleaned up and prepped and personally drove it to my home last night at 9pm so that I could surprise my wife-- bow and all! She didn't leave until 10:30pm. If that ain't first class service, I don't know what is. I never stepped foot in the dealership. Jenny isn't just our favorite car sale consultant, she's our new friend. I brought a CADILLAC ATS in FOR A CRACKED SCREEN (heat spiderweb) and check engine light and also tire pressure light. Darryl gave me a 5 star experience all the way, first he offered me a loaner car even though I didn't buy the car from them but I turned it down. Replaced new navigation screen and fixed all Lights with no questions asked. He never tried to charge me or play any tricks he was honest all the way and called me everyday to give me an update with the vehicle. My girlfriend and I were looking for a vehicle so we can haul the family around. We found a Nissan Armada at a Cadillac dealer. The sales person was Brittany really helpful showed us everything we wanted. Went and did all the financing got everything approved. She did tell me this is an as is sale which I totally understand but she assured us it went through every inspection and everything passed. Well first time I get to drive it was about a week ago and we've had it for about a month and a half due to the fact that I do travel for work. We were driving down the road at 70 miles an hour on the 99. I started getting some very bad speed wobbles. So I took it to my mechanic sure enough my rotors are bent. Also she told me this is an as is and it's my deal to deal with. She also stated that these are brand new tires. Well that is also a lie. Front right tire when we took it off has a patch already on it so this must be brand new used tires as I bought a used vehicle. Well I don't understand all I did was call and ask for a full inspection breakdown On what they actually look for and what they actually inspect. This past Sunday I was in a car accident that completely totaled my XT5. It was one of the most terrifying things I have ever experienced. First and foremost, the design of the Cadillac truly saved my life. The engine was cut in half due to the impact of the collision along with everything else surrounding the engine. By the grace of God I walked away with a few bruises and some pain. Everyone I came in contact with the day of accident said I was extremely lucky that I walked away from this without any sort of injury. Went in for oil change ($79.95), and break pads ($375.00)...went to pick up my vehicle and the bill totaled $1,379.52 because unauthorized work was done. Only because 4 new rotors and break pads were installed I offered to pay no more than $600 to cover some of the cost of the parts/labor...but even then I feel I shouldn't have done that because it was their fault. I'm very disappointed with Tom Peacock Cadillac and taking the necessary steps to do future service with Sewell Cadillac instead. read more

My deceased husband and I have been Tom Peacock Cadillac service customers for approximately 15 years, and we bought our new 2014 Cadillac CTS there, where we continued to have it serviced. On May 18, 2020, I brought my car in for service and liked the loaner car I was assigned. Immediately I started talking with the sales department about purchasing a car like their rental I was driving. Tom Peacock Cadillac has made my life a living nightmare for over three weeks with their sales practices. I have filed a formal complaint with the Texas Department of Motor Vehicles, and they are reviewing my complaint now. I just happened to come across this wonderful State agency. Their number is 1-888-368-4689. They will send a link to the dealership complaint form. I made my Cadillac purchase at Bayway Cadillac, on the east side of I-45 near Costco in The Woodlands, where I got more for my trades (I had two--my husband's truck and my car), a new Cadillac with better features, a better warranty, and saved more than $6,000 over the life of my loan. The Bayway sales staff are kind and have shown they care about me. I am a 75-year-old widow with a doctor-prescribed service dog because I have PTSD and MDD (major depressive disorder) following the horrific events surrounding the sudden and unexpected death of my husband. I will never spend another cent at Tom Peacock Cadillac where I feel I have been taken advantage of, abused, harrassed, and treated disrespectfully. In my dealing with Tom Peacock, I've found some great customer service, which is the #1 reason i enjoy dealing with a business! When I was shopping for a car and came here to look and drive (and although I didn't buy here), the sales staff were low pressure, compassionate and extremely helpful. They knew their vehicles and did help me look for exactly what I wanted but unfortunately we're unable to find. That being said, I would happily return here if in the market for another vehicle. The service department and body shop also stands out for excellent service and they treat their customers extremely well. My most recent occasion had me coming in to the body shop due to some damage on my vehicle...they promptly took my info and inspected the car and had the estimate ready to go. Customer service at Tom Peacock has steeply declined. Because this is a luxury car dealership it is especially appalling. I have been coming here for service since buying our Cadillac here. When buying this car, we were promised that when we came in for service, we would always get a loaner so that we would not have to wait while the car got service. I am a busy professional so I do not have time to wait around! I had texted a service agent to reserve a loaner for me 2 days ago, Anders assured me via text, that all would be ok but and that he would be on vacation. So, he said Kassidy would take care of everything for me (vehicle loaner, oil change and engine light check). When I got to the dealership, I was told there was No Loaner for me! And Kassidy said she got a text from Anders but did not do anything for me! Although, I was assured by Anders that I would be taken care of with a Loaner. I was told by a Customer Service Agent that no Loaners had been returned and that it was first come first served. So, I told Kassidy that I did not want ANY Service because I was not given a Loaner as promised. As I was standing there waiting for my car to be returned, another customer came in half an hour after me, Coral the Customer Service Manager told her right away that they RESERVED a vehicle for her and that it was ready! After they had told me NO LOANERS WERE AVAILABLE!! The customer went outside to see the Loaner and told the customer service manager that it was "Unacceptable ...and was not a vehicle she would roll in." After about an hour, Kassidy returns and says that although I had told her to stop the oil change and service diagnosis; she says the Oil Change had been done and that the service is a Valve Replacement that would cost about $360. All this, AFTER I told her I did NOT want an Oil Change and Did Not want technicians to diagnose the engine light problem. Kassidy then told me I would have to pay about $180 for the diagnostic work! Needless to say, I was very upset. I asked to speak to the General Manager about this problem but he never came out to talk with me! I am very disappointed with the Customer Service at Tom Peacock, first, when we bought the car, my Salesman and the GM, who signed the agreement, PROMISED that we would be given a loaner when we had to service our vehicle. Second, I was told by Anders that Kassidy would take care of me which included reserving a loaner. A Loaner Was NOT RESERVED while my car was getting serviced. Third, I was told it was a first come first served loaner service (first time I have heard that, before it was always by RESERVATION) yet, I came in BEFORE a customer who got her loaner right away, without any hassle or wait. My wife and I went to Tom Peacock Cadillac looking for a pre-owned 2017 Cadillac XTS. A salesman named KT greeted us while we were getting out of our car. We told him what we were looking for and he immediately knew exactly what they had in stock. He showed us one with only 13,000 miles on it and we went for a long drive. My wife fell in love with the car so we went back to the dealer to negotiate the price. Since I had been online checking out prices for a 2017 Cadillac XTS, I knew what price I wanted to pay. Naturally the price KT quoted us was much higher than I knew we should pay. Finally, after going back and forth, KT asked us what price we would pay for the car. We knew what we could afford, and we were ready to leave if we could not get the price we wanted. We gave him the price, thinking there was no way he would come down that low. Well, we were pleasantly surprised when he accepted our offer. We had planned on financing through our bank, however Greg in the finance department gave us a very good interest rate so we decided to finance through them. We were very surprised, since this was a pre-owned car, that we still got 3 free months of On Star and SiriusXM. We left the dealer that night with my wife driving home her new car. After we got home we realized we only had one key for the car. When I called KT Monday morning to tell him we only had one key, he told me the car only came with one key and we would have to pay $200 to get another key. It never occurred to us we would only get one key. Since I am in my 60's, I have bought many cars, and this is the first time I have only received one key. This is the only reason I give Tom Peacock Cadillac a 4 star rating instead of 5 stars. I would gladly change my rating to 5 star if Tom Peacock would not charge me for the extra key. Showed up on Thursday, he took me to the loaner car desk and was told they don't have one available! he turned around and asked me if I wanted to wait while they service the car? I told him no, you scheduled me for today to make sure I get a loaner car but he didn't seem to care. I just took my keys and left. ARE YOU SERIOUS ????!!!!!
