If i could give zero star... I would. This used to be my favorite Tom Thumb to get my groceries. Staff was always helpful and customer service was great. However, I have noticed that the staff has changed and customer service has gone downhill. Items are always put on the wrong place with the wrong price tag. The worst part is when you checked out and noticed that the item price was wrong and go to customer service...the treatment you get from them...is the worst ever. I don't think I will be coming back to this location again. read more

People at Tom Thumb are extremely helpful and their meat including their chicken is cheap, especially when it goes on sale. If you don't mind cooking meat or chicken that day, you can get a pack of chicken or meat for a quarter of the price it would cost elsewhere. read more

Over past year this store gone from one of favorite places to shop to 'avoid at all cost'. There appears to have been a wholesale personnel change. The customer service desk acts like they are really bothered by your presents at the counter. When I brought a rude check-out clerk to the attention of the manager her response was " yeah I know", she then turned and walked away. I'm shocked this Tom Thumb has good reviews. The only reason I went to it is because it was within walking distance of my home. It is over priced for what it offers. I will say that the wine and beer section does offer a great selection. Typically the employees seem massively depressed or spaced out which means they are slow to respond. Produce seems good but I rarely purchase it since its generally over priced compared to Kroger, Walmart pantry stores. If I'm going to pay more then I hold out for better quality stuff at Central Market or Whole Foods than I can find here. read more

Best grocery store in the area! Everyone who works here is helpful and friendly. I've never had bad service. The lady who works the Starbucks counter remembers me and what I like to drink every time I come in. I tried going somewhere else a few years ago because I heard the prices were lower, but I ended up walking out and leaving my cart. They just didn't have the selection, nice layout and friendly staff I was used to. read more

This Tom Thumb gets my love for having 50% off books. I scored some really cool kid's books for the jerb and got a Rocco DiSpirito cookbook for something like $10. Also, I don't like Starsuck's but their really sweet barista sucked me in by making me a fresh pumpkin spice Frappucino sample and she talked to me like I was a real person! How can you not love that? But don't tell anyone I got the Starsuck's....shhhh. read more

Very nice looking place and well kept. Could use sons friendly employees, but I guess it's hard considering the location.

Clean, big, staff is really nice. I am new to Texas and the little nice polite things the staff did made me feel better about moving here. The store does not carry a variety of items that I am used to but it's good for basic groceries and snacks. It is not 5 stars because of open packages. In the freezer section I saw some individually wrapped items without their boxes. I bought a pizza box and didn't notice till check out that it was opened. Everything was in there so I bought it anyway. I also bought an appetizer from the frozen section. After opening the box i realized the plastic bag inside was opened and I only had 7 of the 8 appetizers inside the bag. Not sure if a person did it, or if it was a packaging error. I would shop here again, I will just double check that what I am buying hasn't been tampered with by people trying to steal some food. I also saw a woman looking around then eat some candy for free. I don't know if Tom thumb doesn't mind a little nibble and it's just the culture here or if the staff might want to keep an eye out. read more

This is a nice clean Tom Thumb. Otis a bit pricier than Kroger and it may not be worth it. Except you feel good when you visit bc you walk into a floral department and bakery that is well-kept. For a grocery store it's well laid out and easy to navigate. read more

For produce, not a lot of a selection. The quality of the produce has been wilted, unfresh & lots of bugs flying around.

Would be a great place if it weren't for a couple of employees in the bakery department. They make you feel as if you are interrupting their time. Its specifically two bakery employees. They are your definition of lazy. I used to go daily, however I started to use another location. read more

This used to be my regular grocery store, but it's gone so far downhill that I either drive further to another TT or just go to Kroger. I don't understand why they want to make it such an unpleasant experience to give them money. For example, at night, they only have the self check out open. Do you know what a pain that is if you have a basketful of produce? Or if you have a couple of coupons? Or if you want to buy a gift card? Or how about the reduced hours at the bakery and the deli? Do they think people don't want to buy anything after 8 PM? Why do they even bother to keep the store open? In addition, they need to get a new dairy manager because I can't tell you how many times I've seen expired merchandise still on the shelves. There's a reason why the store is almost always empty and nearby stores are busy. It's the fact that their management has no idea what they're doing. Time for a clean sweep, if you ask me. read more

Went in last minute to the bakery hoping to get my step son that we haven't seen in 2 years a cookie cake for his basketball tournament. The gentleman working in the bakery offered suggestions as to what to get. It was AWESOME! I will come back for any other special occasion to see Jermaine because he made this special moment that much more special. He made an awesome basketball design, put the team colors on it, and my stepsons name and jersey number. For it being so close to closing time he did not mind making our cookie cake awesome! read more

I love Tom Thumb. The bakery manager, Mildred, though was very rude when we went there to inquire about a cake. She seemed bothered that we were there and was somewhat condescending in her tone. I was surprised since ususally all employees are nice and helpful. read more

Overall, a decent grocery store. It's clean, has good selection and fair prices. Glad it is nearby. We shop there 2-3 times weekly.

The prices here, like any Tom Thumb, are a little high. However, I have found a good selection of items and friendly and competent staff, which is more than I can say for the Walmart down the road. There is a Starbucks (full SB, not "we proudly serve," so it will take your gift cards), right inside and cup holders inside the carts. It's the little things. Good selection from the deli, and the meat department has been helpful for me as well. read more

We moved into this area in March of 2016. I grew up in this area and Tom Thumb used to be the best grocery store in the area. When I move back as an adult, the service and the quality is even worse than Kroger. Kroger is low-cost so it is what it is, but Tom Thumb you expect a little bit different product since you're paying a little bit more. When we first moved in in March we were less than pleased with the produce. Several times bought lettuce that look good on the outside but when you started to cut into it was rotten on the inside. Now our understanding is they've been bought by Albertsons, I can't imagine anything worse. They rarely have baggies for you to use in the produce section, and they're out of stuff on the shelves. Very disappointing. Many of our neighbors said they drive further just to go to Whole Foods because Tom Thumb this so bad. Oh and how could I forget, I went there late tonight because my husband's sick to get him medicine, and the lady who checked me out spoke Spanish to the Bag Boy the entire time and didn't even say hello to me in English or anything. It's simple customer service here. Clearly Tom Thumb's management is subpar and needs to be replaced. read more
