Came here with my husband and daughter over the summer, since we noticed the parking lot is always slammed. I can see why! Food is good with large portions for the price. I had the shrimp and scallop provencal which I enjoyed and boxed the rest to bring home. I never got to enjoy the rest since my husband ate it but he said it was good leftover too! The food was pretty good. The amount of breadsticks they gave us was amazing. Even the food portions was big. The vegetarian pizza was addicting but it did have oily bread. Impressed with the entire experience. Waiter was fantastic and dealt with our large party of 15 that can be a little "extra" at times. Ordered the Greek salad and was very pleased with flavor, portion, and overall order. Everyone loved the breadsticks especially with the cheese dip. Sat up at the bar had decent service but was pretty disappointed with the food. Breadsticks were yummy but that was about it Caesar salad was mediocre could've used more than 4 croutons and some dressing, the chicken Parmigiana was the big disappointment soggy chicken and cold pasta :/ when the bartender noticed I had barely eaten it they just boxed it up rather than ask how I was enjoying it. I'd imagine this is a big place in the area for date nights and occasions to get fancied up. It was extremely busy on a Friday night, mostly families and other big groups. They serve humongous portions. They shouldn't give so much, honestly. We all had plenty of leftovers to take, but I'd imagine takes stuff home. Had the tuna salad sandwich, served on a French bread. Very good. We were also served complimentary bread, which was nice. For how busy it was, the service was pretty on point. A favorite of mine! Tomato Brothers is likely to be one of my favorite all time restaurants as the service is always as great as the food. The pizza is awesome! Likely to be the sole reason you are visiting but don't be afraid to try some of the other dishes as they are just as great. Appetizers too! I recommend the breadsticks! This restaurant used to be so good. But ever since Covid it has gone way way way downhill. The last three times I've gotten take out something has been wrong with our food. Ribs are overcooked and burnt on one occasion. They put the wrong toppings on the pizza that my sister ordered My sister is a vegetarian and they ended up putting meat on her pizza for some odd reason and the pizza was was raw and not definitely not presentable to customers. I got a Tomato brothers salad from there maybe about three months ago, it was very skimpy, lettuce was not fresh, and the raspberry vinaigrette just had an add taste to it. I will stick to Getting takeout from Gus. I just wish they had the Tomato brothers salad at their takeout sites. I really do hope Tomato brothers gets it together and monitors their kitchen cooks better. This used to be a favorite restaurant of mine. They are open until 10 on Tuesday! Got here at 9 after the outlets closed (5 minutes away) and got great, friendly service. They have a full service bar, know how to make a decent bourbon old fashioned to boot. *i am from NJ and spoiled as hell for Italian food, especially pizza and stombolies* I was impressed with the pizza dough, crisp, appropriately chewy and flavorful. I'm in town for a business trip and someone I was working with told me I needed to try this place! It far exceeded my expectations. I travel often for work and I've been a lot of places. I have never had such an incredible meal for such a modest price! Don't get me wrong this place is NOT CHEAP but it's also not meant to be. It is a nice restaurant with excellent quality food, what I'm saying is they aren't overcharging for what they serve which is high quality. I was told to try the breadsticks and I was not disappointed! I had the scallop and shrimp provincial and a Cesar salad along with the bread sticks and the garlic Creme cheese spread. If you're looking for any recommendations I would say to try: 1. A glass of Chardonnay with their seafood pasta. 2. A glass of toasted head with cheese raviolis. 3. A glass of grand traverses Riesling with fettuccini Alfredo, add some blackened chicken with that too of course ;)! The Greek salad is a MUST. Our waitress was very friendly and our drinks were refilled before we could even finish them which was great. My coworkers also enjoyed their sandwiches that they ordered. I'm not from the area but I was told that this place is popular among the locals and I can totally see why. This was a nice little surprise after outlet shopping. In fact anyone who spenda a day at the Howell Outlets really needs to head here for lunch/dinner. It's really large inside so chances of getting seated right away are high. Everything is really efficient as far as seating and getting served right away. Good bar selections. The bread they bring you is AMAZING! I could have just gotten a small salad and that bread and been done. My husband enjoyed the clam chowder. We also got the Tomato Brothers mostacoli and the chicken parmesan. This is where they lost the one star. Their sauces just aren't my thing. The marinara was a bit bland and in my chicken parmesan it was also watery. My husband's mostacoli was nuclear hot and a huge portion. The noodles we're pretty overdone and even after I was done eating he said it was too hot to eat. It had the meat sauce which was tastier than the marinara but still just wasn't my favorite. Now overall I would definitely come back and I did enjoy it. I will just order differently. read more

This was our second visit to Tomato Brothers. Both times we went with another couple who were more familiar with favorites, portion sizes and menu items. We should have split an entree and ordered an extra salad. The food was very good and the portions huge. The breadsticks are the star of the show to the point that an order of breadsticks, a salad and soup would be more than filling. I had lasagna and my mate had spaghetti with meat sauce. Our companions split an order of spaghetti and meatballs. Both couples carried home two containers of leftovers! Plus a bag of breadsticks! We look forward to returning with somewhat smaller portions. read more

Looked pretty busy on a Sunday night; however, we were seated almost right away. So this place can accommodate a big crowd, which is good! As we walked by, we saw the salads and pizzas at other tables and decided to get a pizza as well. For the price, it was not too bad (~$14 for three toppings). Unfortunately or fortunately, they got our order wrong, and we somehow ended with getting another pizza free. So we were definitely filled and had leftovers to take home. A peer of mine ordered their grilled chicken sandwich, and that also looked very filling and delicious as well.
