Delicious turkey sub! I haven't had a legit sub sandwich like that in years. The vinegar "special pepper" is what makes it! Good price--except the cookies. I got a peanut butter cup cookie for $2.50. It was delicious but probably wouldn't pay 2.50 for it again. Also got the bottled root beer since I had never heard of that brand before. It was pretty good. I highly recommend stopping here if you are visiting the Dinosaur Ridge park or just passing by. It's right off the interstate. read more

9/22 lunch Long line meaning, they are doing good. Everyone is ordering more than they need to take home for later. That is a good thing. Now, guy comes around getting orders written down and we just hand the note to the cashier. Awesomes. ---------- its seasonal thing we do. whenever we are at this part of town, gotta make the pit stop to savor one of the best sandwiches this part of town. love the mom and pop atmosphere. always loved warm greetings frome the staff and they treat each as member of the family. we got the 6 inch italian and also philly. Italian came out within reasonable time and the guy told me philly is on the way. didn't want to eat 1st so waited for the 2nd one. i can see and hear all the commotion on the grill but nothing for us. we must have waited good 5 minutes while what appeared to be ours went into to the go box, then came out of the box and into toaster and repeated few more times and finally transferred to dine in tray and then my name was called. this mishap took few min. by this time, my italian was bit past prime and tasted greasy due to mayonnaise i requested. i would definitely rated today's visit as 3 but hey.. we all do mess up here and there and from my past visits, i am still mustering up solid 4 stars. By the way, no mustard on my Italian. Tommy uses quality meat for Philly and each order made to order. i will definitely pay more for quality ingredients. If one wants more for less, Arby's might be an option. note to the owner or staff: need to recheck the operation flow. operation has flaw in it and during the busy hours, mistakes may happen often. read more

I've lived in Littleton for 26 years and have been driving all the way to Snarfs just to get a decent sub. Oh man, I have seriously been missing out!! Tommy's is SO freaking good, and I'm a total sub snob! Their Philly is absolutely delicious and so was their Cuban. I can't wait to go back and stuff my face with the Italian. Even their pickles are delicious! And they do not skimp whatsoever on the meat like most places, these subs were stuffed full of delicious meat! I've lived by this place for 4 years and kept hearing amazing reviews about it and saw the high rating on Yelp so I had to finally come check it out! Unfortunately, it didn't meet up to expectations. I ordered the 8" Italian- it was more flavorful than a normal Italian sandwich but not as tasty as a cheba hut Italian. I think this one has thicker bread too which I'm not a fan of. My friend got the philly cheese steak and said it was just ok. It came with marinara sauce and he said there was too much fusion in the sandwich that it just didn't work well. He preferred eating it with au jus rather than the marinara. Nice to finally try it for myself but I'm going to continue to go to cheba hut when I'm craving a sandwich! read more

Stellar, just stellar. I visit this strip mall every month or so for teaching at a next-door business, and it's an hour drive. I don't mind the drive because I know I can get me some Tommy's. I always get the Cubano. Maybe I should branch out more, but it's so good I'm afraid to try anything else. Everything about this place is great: staff, food, everything. I think the Asian guy I often see is the owner, and even during the lunch rush he is supporting his employees, greeting customers, rushing around making everything work. They bring in the rolls, and stuff them with quality ingredients. I rarely have room for a Tastycake treat but they complete the experience if you're so inclined. read more

Who.would have thought the area's best Philly was hiding around the corner from the Home Depot down the road. Go ahead and say no to the hot dog guy and do yourself a favor. Cool diner set up and big open griddle so you can watch the kitchen work. Their standard is the Philly with marinara, mushroom, onions and peppers with superb, spicy relish on the side. Personally, I hold the marinara and the shrooms, but I don't think you can go wrong with just meat, cheese and bread. It's that solid. My wife's family is from the Jersey Shore, at which we spend at least a week every summer. If I didn't look out the windows and see Tommy's spectacular view of the Hogback, I'd swear I was eating in Beach Haven with the Atlantic crashing out back. The quality has severely declined in the past few years. I saw the person making my sandwhich put Mayo on (I ordered no Mayo) and the other coworker said it's not suppose to have Mayo and the girl shrugged her shoulders and kept making it. I've ate here a few times and thought that the subs were ok. Today we paid around $30 for two drinks and two small subs, and waited quite some time for our order in the hot dining room. We had planned to chow down there, but it was extremely hot inside with no air conditioning it seemed. My sub, the BCR, was extremely peppery, to the point that it was overwhelmed by the spice. I was only able to take a few bites before I sadly had to toss it. Unfortunately, me and my partner are writing this one off as too expensive and not that yummy enough to visit frequently. read more
