This gentlemen assisting me through the window offered house green or red sauce with it and friendly and courteous the entire time. Fries were fresh, seasoned, crispy, burning hot (this is a good thing!). Dish had tons of their chili and cheese. House green sauce was tangy, fresh, spicy, and very flavorful. Legitimately better than some burrito or taco places that I've tried. Cool little burger joint with all the right prices, flavors, and portions. Tried to dine in for a late Saturday dinner (8:30pm) dinner but they told us their dining room was closed. This wasn't posted anywhere, only that they were open until 10pm. However, this was a blessing because ONLY from the inside can you see that they have a B health inspection rating. Was not disappointed! Immediately I appreciated the freshness of the fries; hot out of the fryer and generously seasoned with my guess of Lawry's Seasoned Salt. The double cheeseburger was delicious, in presentation and taste. What set this burger apart was the genius idea of thinly sliced red onion, that gave the burger a unique dynamic and the perfect amount of onion zest to balance the burger. The chili cheese fries were as expected: a mountain of crispy fries covered in an avalanche of thick chili with a thick blanket of Colby Jack Cheese. My husband and I live close by and this by far one of our favorite places to eat when we don't want to cook. I love their fries, they're seasoned well. The burgers are always a hit. We recently went for breakfast and I got the pancakes meal and it came with 3 pancakes, eggs, and 4 sausage links. It was so much food, I had to take it home for later. Fries have that nice seasoning perfectly cooked crispy outside soft inside. I am reluctantly giving Tom's Jr 3 stars for a few reasons. First off, the breakfast sandwich I ordered was delicious. My boyfriend also loved his breakfast burrito. Now, there weren't a ton of people inside for a Sunday morning, yet the floor was very dirty. There were flies inside. The restaurant did not seem up to standard cleanliness wise. The staff was just friendly enough. They did have a steady line of cars in the drive-thru. If I return, it won't be to eat inside. This is my second time eating here. I had some hope this time. The first time the fries were over salted and stale and the burger was burnt. This time the chili cheese fries were great but the burger was unseasoned and looked like it was warmed up in the microwave. I couldn't finish it. The lettuce was gross tasted bitter and had nothing but the stems in the burger. The drive thru workers were nice and did take a while to give us our meal. They seem like they like their jobs. I hopped on Yelp and looked at nearby burger joints. I always drive by Tom's Jr. I decided to give them a try. I ordered a double bacon cheeseburger and side of onion rings. Everything was delicious. The burger was fantastic. If you like Douglas, you'll like Tom's Jr.'s burgers. Same charbroiled goodness. The onion rings were phenomenal as well. Nice crunch.
