Love Tonnam, food, service is exceptional!!! They make whatever you order to the degree of spice you like! Can't live without the Tom Ka Gai soup (coconut chicken soup)

It was time for Friday night dinner. Didn't want the usual and wanted something we haven't had in a while. My boyfriend and I decided on Thai! We are very happy with our decision! We ordered off UberEats, so I cannot comment on the service. For an appetizer we went with steamed chicken and shrimp dumplings. They had a delicious flavor and the dipping sauce complemented them well. Our only complaint on this was that there were 5 dumplings and not 6. But we still shared evenly, haha! For my entree I had chicken pad Thai medium spice. It was delicious. Let it be known that the "medium" here is much hotter than a "medium" elsewhere. It wasn't unbearable, but just beware if you can't handle spicy/spice that well. I throughly enjoyed it. Generous portion also. My boyfriend had drunken noodles with beef mildly spicy. He said he really enjoyed it and it was like a "sweet spicy." I had a bite of his and it was yummy. Spice level was indeed mild compared to my entree, but it was still present. His portion was also generous. He agreed they deserve 5 stars! He said he'd definitely order from again, or go to dine-in!

10/10 would recommend. The found out of this would delicious. The prices are a bit higher than what he had hoped but the taste in food made it worth it. Service and ambiance was great. We will be returning.

Pad Cha Seafood - traditional ingredients. Very flavorful- spicy, salty, sweet.

I always look forward to Tonnam Thai. Chef V has a great hand! If you want to have delicious thai foods, this is the place to come. Traditional recipes are not easy to find. This is a small restaurant with only 6 tables, concentrates more on delicious to go orders. Majority of Thai restaurants here are all the same .... fusion with bland flavors, another words, not so Thai. Tonnam Thai is definitely an authentic Thai restaurant. Highly recommended!

Ordered some take out from here after hearing rave reviews. Honestly it was quite disappointing. The pad see ew was so salty. The Chinese broccoli tasted burnt but the noodles and chicken was way too salty. The chive cakes were way too oily. I have definitely had better. The curry puff and taro puff was good. Ive never had the taro puff and it was not overly sweet which was good. The mango sticky rice was very standard. Not the best ive ever had but decent.

Saw this place written up in Newsday and it did not disappoint. Inside is super small if you want to dine in but we were ok with it. I got taro bubble tea, drunken noodles and the bread pudding for dessert. Husband got basil fried rice. We shared curry puffs (the dough is amazing) and a side of roti (buttery and delicious ). They ask the spice level and I chose 4 which was amazing and delicious but my husband was definitely unwell so proceed with caution.

Food was delicious! The server was so sweet and attentive, it's a cute little spot inside if you're not taking out. Normally I'd say $18 for chicken pad c-u is a bit much, but it's so yum it's worth it!!

The best authentic Thai food for me. There are many menu, I can't choose to eat them all in one day. Therefore, this restaurant will be a regular restaurant for me until I eat the entire menu.

Delicious Coconut soup and we loved their pineapple fried rice. I tried a curry soup and got the least spicy one and I absolutely loved it.

"OK" is the most apt description I have of this place. Generally, the idea of buying a salad when I…read morecould make my own isn't the most appealing to me, so the salad has to be great or at least good. My wife thinks the salads are great. I think they are good. So why not a 4 or 5 review? Because this place really overcomplicates things--and I can't quite figure out why. There 6 or 7 people working at any given point. It's actually kind of funny watching because there are usually 2 who don't know where to stand or what to do. But they make you fill out a form and then, more times than not, THEY ASK YOU INFORMATION THAT YOU JUST GAVE ON THE FORM! YO! C'MON! I imagine that the form idea came around in the name of efficiency. But this is asinine, and this is either one of those solutions for a problem that doesn't exist... or it is a solution that is implemented very poorly. But the best (worst) is today when the form is filled out that I want the salad chopped and the dressing on--and the person asks me if I want the dressing on--and then the salad comes neither chopped nor dressed! All the while, there are all these people handling my salad and form (because, as I said, people need to find something to do), and no one bothers to double-check?? Wouldn't that be a good use of a person?? So, this place is OK. The salads are good or better. But the processes are odd, if not a little funny.

I ordered a Build Your Own Bowl with all my favorite things and it was yummy enough. I wanted a little more flavor and in retrospect, should have asked for a little more lemon juice. It tasted like it was left out but I didn't mention. Pro tip: If you like your salad chopped, I recommend you ask them to chop it smaller. My friend ordered hers chopped and it was barely chopped. So I was glad I was able to intercept mine before it was prepared. I don't like it finely chopped but I like the lettuce to be bite-sized, not big pieces. I mean, what's the point of asking for it chopped? Lots of options for add-ins. Most of my friends liked their salads too. Space was lovely, super clean, and the manager who helped us was great. I wish I got her name but she had impressive biceps. Looking at the photos of The Greenery in Sayville, you could say the Islip location is an annex. It's a much smaller space with seating for about 13. I wish the Greenery much success in my neighborhood. Solid eatery for fresh salads, bowls and smoothies. I hope they might participate in 2 Good to Go. :)

If you're like me, but live in Suffolk County, Metro on Main is on my personal Top 3 Picks! Their GF crust is made from cauliflower and is imported from Italy-how can you beat that?! I ordered one with pepperoni and basil leaves, and it was phenomenal! The price was also very reasonable and under $20, including a Hals Seltzer. I'm very impressed, so impressed that I crave this pizza! Too bad Uber Eats can't deliver it to me here in Brooklyn. XD: When I'm out in the 631 area, I'll be back! We were told they had a great bingo night and fantastic food and drinks. That proved to be an excellent recommendation. The Wayward is located in the heart of the quaint village of Sayville. It is a spacious establishment with a large bar, plenty of tables as well as booth seating . We sat at the bar and were immediately greeted by the bartender Brian. He was friendly and extremely knowledgeable about the food and drink choices. He took the time to note our preferences within the dishes offered. It was apparent to us that Brian and the 2nd bartender Meg were extremely hard working, friendly and efficient. We started with a few drinks. Nothing fancy. I had a rum & coke and my wife went with Prosecco. Both were good. For dinner I went with gnocchi with chicken sausage in a pink cream sauce Absolutely fantastic! The kicker was the large dollop of fresh mozzarella on top. My wife chose the Chicken Milanese with roasted potatoes . She noted that the chicken was pan seared, breaded , moist and delicious. She opted to get it without the tomatoes and onions that accompany it. The potatoes were amazing. (I snagged a few so I can confirm this!) Deliciously seasoned, crispy on the outside moist and creamy on the inside. The bingo was also great! Chris was a great host. The prizes were great , although we didn't win anything. All in all a great night! A pleasant change of pace . We fully recommend The Wayward whether it for bingo night or dinner and drinks . Fantastic atmosphere, great food, great service.

Not a lot of parking out front, but there is a rear entrance you can use that has a much bigger parking lot for your ease. Service was decent, we got forgotten about once right off the bat, but once we got things straightened out staff were helpful, kind, and attentive. Starting off with drinks, I had tried their gingerbread old fashioned and their boozy coquito. The old fashioned was nothing special, but I did enjoy the little gingerbread man it came with. The coquito on the other hand was very tasty, albeit a little bit boozier than I expected, but I don't often mind a heavy pour. Next up for food, starting with apps, I tried the pretzel which comes with a cheese sauce and mustard on the side. Just as good as you'll find it at any bar serving it up these days. For entrees, I had their signature burger and tried a bite of my girlfriend's steak sandwich, and she definitely came out the winner. Burger was good, but nothing that made it standout much from other good smash burgers. The steak sandwich though was cooked well and didn't all just pull out on the first bite, which to me is the key indicator of a good steak sandwich! Was overall a nice dinner and I'd certainly like to comeback and try more of the menu and I've often been tempted to stop by for their bingo nights, they always seem to have awesome prizes.
