I went down to Tony's shop to have him read an error code on my car. The error code wasn't popping up in his machine so he didn't charge me, and he also topped off my engine coolant for free as well. I called different shops around the area for a dealership recommended brake fluid flush, rear differential flush, and fuel injection cleaning for my 2013 Toyota Tacoma TRD Sport. Even though all the shops had the EXACT same 5-star positive reviews and the prices were all comparable, Tony's patience and mannerism over the phone and Yelp messaging sealed the deal. He was patient enough to answer all of my questions. I came in on a Friday and was surprised he took me in since he had many cars/customers waiting for service in preparation for the long Labor Day weekend. They even went to the extent of flushing each brake line without extra charge!! I want to write this review mainly FOR MY WOMEN DRIVERS out there! I had initially written a a review for Tony because there was a misunderstanding and after successfully having him work on my vehicle two times, the third time my issue wasn't resolved...so long story short I wrote a review about my experience and how I was unhappy with it. My car had been making noises and Tony initially told me that it was the shocks causing it (which were also really bad and needed repairing too) but when he repaired them my car was still making noises and so that is when I wrote my review. Well, Tony reached out to me via yelp and invited me back to look at my car and repair the noise for FREE, in addition to loaning me a car (with gas) for the day, while he worked on my vehicle. Now it's been about 3 days and the noise was gone the moment I pulled out of his driveway, my car is running smoother than ever (turns out it was a suspension issue.) He also topped off my oil and fluids, did a full inspection plus he left a list in my cupholder of what further work needs to be done on my car in order of importance . I was beyond grateful and so so SO happy that my car could go down bumpy roads without sounding like it was falling apart! Tony is officially my mechanic for as long as I live in Southern California and his business remains open. We had a talk about the misunderstanding and I think the whole experience really made him gain my trust so if you're looking for a mechanic or you're a single woman who knows nothing about cars like myself or your new to the San Gabriel Valley and are just looking for somebody to help you with your vehicle then I really hope that you call Tony. It was his customer service skills, car knowledge, very fair prices and his ability to turn a negative into a positive that made him regain and maintain a loyal customer. I not fan of the big auto repair franchise like Firestone or Jiffy Lube. They tend to overcharge for simple oil change service and often there is a line. I think there has need to be more love for smaller local own auto shop like this one and others. They are provided same and usually more service and cheaper than many more well-known establishment, best of all usually no line in the weekday. My friend's car is badly needed to change engine oil, this one was closest to her place. The price of oil change was only $18 total, that's included adjust the tire pressure and added windshield and other fluid. It took less than 20 minutes and was fast and smooth. Tony's is my go to shop for any work that I cant perform myself. I have had them do a bunch of different work on my SUV and they always do a great job. They are quick efficient and are willing to discuss whatever is wrong with your car to properly diagnose it. I have had a number of different things done here. It seems that the pricing for msot of the work comes in under the initial estimate as they are estimating the time involved and if they are able to do the work more quickly, well you can get a cheaper rate. They dont just stick to the quote. This saved me an hour's labor on the last job that I had done. I think that they do a great job all the way around your vehicle. Consequently it makes things very easy to have someone nearby you can trust to do the work right and do it right the first time. If something seems amiss after they complete their work, they will investigate it further. If additional work is warranted, they will let you know what that is. As well as an estimated cost. So if you need some work done on your ride and need a shop to head to, I suggest these guys. Check them out if you have the need for some work done on your ride... read more

I've been coming here for years and my car has been running great. Fast Service and mechanics are great at what they do! Quick oil changes and you get your car right away once they finish, give it about 20 mins. They are busy, but I try to call ahead of time just to make sure I don't have to wait. I've replaced my brakes here with them and they're super thorough in checking on other things to make sure the car is running fine. Tony and his crew have been servicing my brother's car as well. Wow, what honest and helpful mechanics! I brought my car here a couple weeks ago to get my oil changed and it was about $20. A couple days ago, my car was making weird whishing noises while I was on the freeway and, when I looked under the car, something was hanging out. Today I stopped by Tony's to see if he can fasten the loose screw or whatever it is for me. They were pretty busy with multiple cars in the lot. I talked to Tony and told him I literally know nothing about cars. He took a look and told me to wait while they backed some cars out of the lot to let my car in. One of his mechanics popped under my car only to re-emerge a minute late to tell me I was good to go. He explained that I probably ran over something, making the clip underneath come undone. He also said that Tony said it was on the house. How nice is that?! They could've easily charged me and I wouldn't have even known any better! Called Tony's to get a quote on how much an oil change would be for my Lexus ES 350, he said it was going to be around $60. I asked him if he was busy right now and if I could come over. He said yes come right now. I went there, dropped off my car, walked over to the bank to get some cash that was only about 1 mile away (took me like 20 mins to walk there and back), and BAM my car was surprisingly already done when I came back. I was really impressed! I have never had an oil change been done that fast before. This is definitely a great place to come if youre in a rush and you want the best quality service. They even left those paper feet things on the bottom of my driver seat. Thank god that they did because I saw how dirty it was! eww! Got oil change at mazda dealership, they said the engine mount and transmission mount is cracked and it'll cost $$$$. Called Tony, he said it's $$, and told me he will do his best to fix it today, since I needed to use the car pronto. He delivered! He fixed it, paid him, and found out he also fixed a 2nd mount on the engine that was cracked for the same price. Tony is straight forward, reasonable price, and have solid great customer service. I found other places with slighly cheaper prices, but I can't risk dealing with a shady repair shop because they didn't have the best reviews on yelp. I trust Tony and his team. This is and will continue to be my go to place for oil change, nail in tires, cracked mounts, and any other repairs I'll need in the future. He has very fair prices. But if you find other repair shops with even cheaper prices, keep in mind that there are many shady repair shops out there. My gf and I took a vacation to LA only to experience car trouble the whole way down... We made it to LA on half an engine while praying the whole time not break down while we were on I-5 and in the hot arid weather. It sucked! I found this place on Yelp about 3 years ago because I needed an oil change and as we all know many places will tend to try and overcharge you for even the simplest of vehicle services. Even worse you will leave a auto shop with more car trouble than you came in with. This place does not. For those 3 years I have never ever had a single issue which my car after getting an oil change. They take no more than 15 minutes, from enter to exit, you are quite literally in and out with your car feeling nice and refreshed. They give you a quick and complete run down and will supply you with all the info you need to make a quick and clean decision. My gf needed an oil change for her car ASAP late Saturday afternoon. Engine is making loud rocking sound and needed an oil change right away. She's been going to Firestone and last oil change they did, it was terrible. I found out they didn't put enough oil and spilled oil all over the engine. So I turned to yelp for help. After making few calls, I found this place. I read some reviews and it seemed trust worthy. It took about 20 mins to do an oil. Owner showed us the oil and filter he was replacing. Explaining to us he is only using mobile one oil, and OEM oil filter. Not the generic stuff. Owner was very friendly and took the time to talk to us about the reason why engine was making that rocking sound. Usually my gf spends about $90 for an oil change for her Mini Cooper. Tony's Auto will definitely be my go-to auto shop for fixes and repairs from here on out. I came in today (Friday) around 9:30AM for one of their quick and inexpensive oil changes. After speaking to Tony about my car, I decided to also change my transmission fluid, and fix my air conditioner. For 2 years, I have been driving without AC due to a missing condenser. Tony assured me that he would be able to get the part and install it as well as finish up my oil and fluid changes by noon. After quoting me a reasonable price, I went ahead and said yes. At around 11:30AM, he was already done with my car! Needless to say, Tony and his crew are quick, reasonable, and honest working individuals. These 5 star ratings cannot compliment how wonderful this place is! My family and I have been going to Tony' s auto for over 10 years (before Tony's son even took over!) This place has the highest honors in integrity! They are honest people and will tell you directly what you would need to keep your car lasting forever! They will also quote a tremendously better price than other places! I recently changed my transmission fluid on my 2011 Kia Sorento. He quoted me only 60 dollars (that includes labor and parts!) for a flush that didn't take more than an hour! Extremely fast and reliable service! Unlike the Kia dealership ($160) or other places like Jiffy lube ($210). I also changed other various parts over the past year and I couldn't find better prices anywhere else. He will check your car for free and tell you what you would need to do and doesn't pressure you into buying other things or to do them right away. My family and I trust him with many of our cars because he made them last way longer than we originally had intended to keep them for. I occasionally go there for an oil change when they're at lunch so I would drop off some subways sandwiches for them. All of them remember who I am and they're very pleasant and fun to talk to, except one Vietnamese guy who seems to give you a mean look if he doesn't think you can speak Vietnamese or english very well. I swear I think he hates me, but he does an excellent job at fixing cars so I can't complain. Because overall, every one of the workers there love to work on cars and they will do all they can to leave you satisfied. Just got back from it! Called in at 5 15 to see if they could still do an oil change for me given that they close at 6 o clock. They were very accommodating and told me to bring it in, and that they would work on it right away. Got there at 5 25, and in less than 20 mins my car was ready to go! Not only was it fast, but the mechanic also helped me check tire pressure, etc. and all of that for $18 ! And to say i almost got tricked into going to Good year (off Marshall and Rosemead) because they had a banner saying oil change half off for 16 or 18.. When i called to ask if they were running the promotion, they told me that it's only for guests who sign up for the CREDIT CARD. Sneaky!! I found out I had a leaking shock absorber when I took my car to get serviced at the Lexus dealership. The dealership quoted me a ridiculous amount to replace them, which prompted me to call Tony's. I spoke to Tony on the phone and he was very knowledgeable about my situation and quoted me a very fair price. A friend of mine referred me to Tony's for a regular oil change. She suggested I'd call first because they always seem to have a lot of clientele when she takes her vehicle. I called and the man was kind, said it was okay to come in as a walk in anytime before 5. As soon as I arrived one of their mechanic's moved my car into their garage area and another mechanic told him one of my tail lights was out to go ahead and replace it for me. Later, the mechanic that noticed the tail light approached me and said it was on the house to not worry about it, he also showed me the original Toyota filter they were going to install. They let me watch the whole thing and I think I learned a thing or two while talking to the friendly mechanic changing my oil. Cool guys and they seem to be honest!
