This was my first time using this business and I had a great experience. Long story short I needed a formal dress (long, black lace cut out on the side, originally purchased from Bloomingdale's) pressed for a weekend event. I requested a quote Thursday evening (after business hours) and received an estimate within minutes. When I arrived Friday morning (around 9) I was greeted by the same gentleman I was received the quote from who knew exactly who I was based off of our conversation. He was very kind and ensured me that my dress would be ready by 2PM. I didn't receive a notification that my dress was ready but considering he told me when it'd be ready I figured one wasn't needed. I took two uniforms in for tailoring and dry cleaning (minor work. Putting zipper on the uniform shirts and hemming the pant to an exact example that I brought in to guide the seamstress) I asked for a quote before coming in and was quoted $80 (approximate). When I went to pick up they charged me $150 for the uniforms. I asked why and the excuse was because the tailoring is outsourced and they could not control the pricing. Upon inspecting the uniforms they had not cut 2 buttons from the shirt that I asked to be cut. The staff told me that it would be sent out and there wouldn't be a charge. I went back a week later to pick it up and got charged another $20 to CUT 2 buttons. I once again showed the receipt that specified that portion of the work as "paid" and I was told to take it up with the owner (who was not there) to fix my situation. After finally getting ahold of the owner he told me he would credit the $20 on my account the next time I was in but that the tailoring being double the amount that I was quoted was just a fee I had to pay even if double. The next time I was in the staff said there was no credit on my account and to call the owner again regarding the issue. After coming here for 2 years I could see that the customer loyalty meant nothing to them so I took my business elsewhere. DONT GO HERE AND DONT GET ANYTHING TAILORED. the zippers also broke after 1 week. Unpleasant experience. read more
