If you have a designer dress that you love or want to wear again DO NOT TAKE IT HERE because they will mess it up.. I took my dress in to dry clean a couple of spots... got it back yesterday with threads coming out of it and it wasn't even cleaned...the spots were still there! The girl at the register called Tony(the owner?) he was completely shocked, he stayed that he has been in business since 1992 and has never ever ruined a dress before. So he asked me to leave it there and he will resolve the issue. He said he would be there in the morning so I decided to bring back the dress in the morning so I could talk to him and show him what needed to be done and what they had done to my dress. I asked him whether or not he was able to clean it and fix the damage they made or if I should just go elsewhere. He insisted that I leave my dress and he would take care of everything. That was the worst decision I've ever made!!! Got the dress back in worst condition than it was before!! My blue dress came back with a big white stain right on top in the front of the dress for everyone to see!!! And after damaging my very expensive dress he wanted me to PAY for it? I called to get a rough estimate on shortening the sleeves of a dress. The woman who answered the phone was nice but I could hear the owner (I'm guessing Tony) in the back and he was so rude! He acted like I was crazy for calling to try to get a rough estimate and just dismissed me twice. If he had told me nicely I'd have to come in I would understand. But he didn't know I could hear. I was desperately searching for a cleaner with a tailor that could get my dresses fixed within 4 days. Finally my last try was Tony's. Unlike the four other cleaners I went to, Tony was a breath of fresh air. He was friendly and genuine. He really wanted to help. His tailor wasn't there but he was confident she could get it done in time. He was extremely reassuring and made me feel completely at ease. He promised me it would get done in time and I would be happy with the end result. Surely he kept his promise. My old winter coat was very dirty and had desperately needed a cleaning for quite some time. But I really like that coat, so I took it to Tony's Dry Cleaners, hoping they could make it look better. A few days later, when I went to pick it up, I was amazed - it looks like new on the outside! The whole coat looks beautiful again. There was no odor (from what I could tell) either - apparently they use a new type of cleaner that is better than an older type. And they were very nice, too. Amazing owners! I will not go anywhere else with my dry cleaning...Tony is the real deal! I had a sheepskin rug that I inherited - it was filthy. I called several places and they all wanted an arm and a leg and my first born to clean it - with full on chemicals. Tony beat their price and the best part, they use only natural cleaners to get this rug clean. He gave me an 'estimate' of what the cost would be as he had to send it out to have it cleaned. He stayed true to his word to me, taking the hit himself, since his estimate was a bit lower than the actual cost to clean my rug. Now THAT'S true service and amazing integrity in my book. Lifesavers! I've been going to Tony's for years as our local dry cleaners here in Upland. I love supporting a local family business whose quality speaks for itself. Here's a couple highlights aside from dropping work shirts off at the end of the week: -- Now in consecutive years they've been life savers for weddings. Last year my shirts were too wrinkled during travel and they gave me minimal turnaround time. -- When my new brother-in-law and sister were in a pickle for their wedding earlier this month they were very insistent on having their wardrobe for the special day taken care of close to their wedding site (to my dismay). When the Yelp reviews and hours were not competitive to their time, I got to pull the "I told you so" and they saved the tux and dress. My husband has been a long time loyal customer. He sends everything here, and always rave about how nice and amazing this place is. I have a precious 25 years old teddy bear. I don't let anyone touch it ever. When my husband dropped it off to clean, he made a big deal and made sure they understood how important this bear is and they needed to be ultra careful. They said it will be fine, is steam clean no chemical. Dropped it off on Wed, they said they want to spend more time on it and told us to pick it up Monday night. I already have a bad feeling leaving my bear there for so many days. When I picked it up yesterday I was shocked to see they used huge pins to pin through bear's ears and hanged it on the rolling hanger all day long. wow, wouldn't this be the easiest way to damage or tear the bear? I smiled, paid and prayed my bear is okay. After I rushed home, unpinned my bear and of course, there's a huge torn hole on back of one ear and the pin has created a noticeable hole on front of ears too. so heart broken... this bear has so much sentimental value to me. We are so upset because it is totally unnecessary to pin and hang the bear! I have sent stuffed animals to other cleaners before, people usually would just leave the bear in plastic bag and set it on table/floor. can't believe my bear has been hanging on that roller swinging every time they use the hanger for 5 days... DON'T send anything precious or valuable here. They don't care. Even if we begged them to be careful when we dropped it off, even though we had been many years loyal customers and they know us personally... wow they still didn't care. read more

Tony's dry cleaning business has the worst customer service I've ever had. I HIGHLY recommend avoiding this place at all costs and here is why; they ruined my mothers silk shirt and essentially blamed it on us. 1) I brought my mom's favorite silk shirt there for a simple dry cleaning. There were no stains on it. It simply needed a basic dry cleaning. 2) When I came to pick it up there were 5 large stains on it. I nicely pointed it out to them and let them know that those stains were not there when I dropped it off. They said they would call me back and never did. I returned 5 days later to pick it up and... 3) They then stated that we brought the shirt in with stains and that they cannot get it out. They stated that we had dirtied the shirt with glue. All this was said while the owner was yelling at me and never exhibited any customer service etiquette. I will never go back to Tony's dry cleaning business. I should also mention, that we had a similar episode (on a smaller scale) in the past, and we overlooked it. But now, we will NEVER use Tony's dry cleaning ever again. Spare yourself the heartache and hassle. There are many better places you can take your clothes to. read more

Today marks 3 days until my daughter's wedding. During final adjustments a stain was discovered on my mother of the bride dress!!! Of course, my DIY attempt to get the stain actually made it worse. So so grateful for Tony! Starting with the very beginning concerned call at7:00 am this morning, he was reassuring and kind and told me to bring it right in. He knew of my concern and kept me informed and let me know that he'd be able to get it out and that it would be ready the same day (today) after 1:00pm. Amazing! I have been using this dry cleaners for 10+ years. They deserve 5 stars since they have never lost, damaged or destroyed an item, stains are removed, fragile and difficult to clean are no problem for these folks. Very warm and polite staff, more than happy to check your pockets for personal items and indicate with tape where stains are located on the items to ensure a perfect clean the first time. On the occasion I have used other cleaning services (the drop off at your door type) my items have returned dirty or damaged - what was I thinking.... I only use Tony's. read more

Tony reached out to me personally when my item was late and apologized, explaining my item was actually there in the shop but that since he checks all outgoing items first for quality assurance, it wasn't ready at the original time. He also took the time to answer my other random questions about cleaning fabrics at home, without rushing me. Nowadays, the relational piece seems to be missing more and more from businesses, but it's obvious Tony's cares about connecting with their customers.
