This place is great! It's clean and spacious. The massage chairs are comfortable. The ladies work quickly but thoroughly. It's also pretty cheap! Got a manicure and pedicure and foot scrub with regular polish, all for $25. I've tried to go to another place that was closer to where I lived at the time, but I regretted not coming here. That other place was more expensive, a little painful when pulling my cuticles, and not as thorough with the scrub. I'm definitely not one of those women that is constantly nitpicking at the way her nails or toes are being done. I'm supposed to be relaxing- am I not? So, call me crazy if I don't want to have to be on patrol when "enjoying" my pedicure. I've come here a few times and this was the last strike. The prices are cheap ($14 pedicure), so I guess you really do get what you pay for. First time that I came here I was rushed into picking a color, she cut me, barely apologized and gave me a massage that lasted MAYBE 5 seconds per foot. Fellow Yelpers, I don't have ugly feet, I'm a very friendly customer... is this the price I must pay for not wanting a design? I mean, come on. Second time I went... same thing. What is the deal? I go mainly for a little massage and a clean polish job. I don't have corns or calloused heels, I shave my legs before I go and I am a nice woman. What gives?! This last time I go with my OWN polish since theirs is super outdated (Sorry. I've given this place too many chances to be better.), my pedicure starts off with cold water. Awesome. She barely lets my feet "soak" and she's already getting started. She cuts me and when I flinch she says absolutely nothing. There's some children's cartoon blaring on both TVs and no child in sight the entire time I'm there. She gives me my five second massage (Not even joking. Five seconds per foot.) and then smacks me so I can give her my polish. At this point I can't wait to leave, but I'll try and enjoy the occasionally painful massage the chair was giving me. She gives me two mediocre coats of a sheer polish that should obviously take three coats, shoves my sandals on my feet and ships me off to get my toes dried at some under some dusty fan. At the end of each of those visits I walked out with a smile and I still tipped because these women have to touch ugly feet the rest of the day. Never again will I come here though. Maybe it takes a few visits to get on their good side, but this lady doesn't play that way. See you never. read more

This place used to be Elaine's Nails and now it is Top Nails & Spa with new ownership (at least a year ago). I've been coming here for about a year now for my regular pedicures. I love how clean this place is and the staff are very friendly and they have a sense of humor. They are not pushy like other nail salons who try to upsell everything. It is located in the plaza with Sears, Petco, and Toys R Us. I usually get the spa pedicure and callus removal (I have dry heels because I'm always wearing sandals) and my total comes out to be $18. I think this is their promotion price because their menu says spa pedicure is $15 and callus removal is $5. They usually have a banner outside their store showing their promotion. I think they've had those prices for as long as I've been there. I have to say they really take their time with the callus removal and they really scrub out all the dry skin which I love. It is not just me because I see them scrubbing other customers like that too. French is an additional $4. Design is an additional $5. They also have waxing, facials, and massages. They close late too. Mon-Sat 9am-8pm and Sun 9am-6pm. read more

My sister referred me to Top Nails after going with her coworker. It's in the plaza where Sears, Toys R Us and Petco is (1 store down from Petco). The sign is dim so I had to circle around a bit to find the salon. I came for a mani pedi before my cousin's wedding. This is THE PLACE to get gel nails. Amy did a great job with my nails. I love that she took her time and cleaned around the cuticles for leftover nail polish/gel, unlike some other places I've been to. I took half a star off for a few bubbles in the white tip of the nail polish. Doesn't bother me too much but it's not completely perfect. I guess Amy doesn't do feet because someone else did my feet (I didn't catch her name). The pedicures are nice and clean though. They wear gloves. It's a spa pedi so you can sit in their massage chairs while they work on you. Very relaxing! Next time, I will skip the callus removal treatment (I later learned it was an additional $5). It didn't help very much (half star here). Total for gel french tip mani and french tip toes was $42 (not including tip). If you want to treat yourself to a nice mani pedi, this would be the place! $4 for French tip $5 for Callus removal After calculations...I think it's $29 for gel mani pedi. Service wasn't too bad I mean I didn't see them take their tools out of their sterilizing bags pedicure lasted for about 20 minutes with out anyone being there I went on a slow day and decided to get gel on my toes and you know I was next door so I decided to give this place a go at my usual spot in pico Rivera it is 18 for pedicure and five extra for gel so total would have been 23. Which I believe is reasonable now this place charged me 32 dollars for pedicure and gel she then continued to say it was 15 for a regular pedicure so that means they literally charged me 17 dollars for gel. I think that's a little excessive. And on top of that they were offering extra massage or callus remover so how much would my ticket have been if I got the extras 50? And i mean for 20 minutes? After being soooo annoyed by the way they speak there language and so loud & them being rude to me because I hadn't gone in a month. Last time I went I took my headphones to not hear them didn't work. I also had my feet wrapped once maybe was left on my foot to long I had redness & bottom of foot hurt for more than a week. I believe it was Emmy who did it, she's great very friendly and professional. Then it came to my mani. Place is solid: I got a gel manicure, pedicure, callus removal, and a one hour facial. I did not like the fact that they were talking Vietnamese... And I do not... And I was the only one in the room that spoke English... Pretty annoying. Also didn't like how they were obviously talking trash about customers that were walking in after me. I did think they work extremely efficiently (quick mani pedi), but I did not like how I had to base sit with the gel drying thing on my lap... The facial was pretty painful and the music sucked, but she really dug into my pores and got everything out, so I am thankful for that. The people were super nice to me... I got the Delux Mani & Pedi for $38 and was please with the detail ad care. DMP includes all the regular stuff plus callus plus 10 minute message for your tired legs and feet.
