Loved it. Very clean, liked the plastic liners in foot bath. The massage chairs I loved, whatever setting was perfect. Was not rough. Never had a warm towel on feet after pedicure either, felt amazing. One annoyance, there were two TVs and they were out of sync by a second, so it made an awkward sound, if you paid close enough attention. This used to be one of my favorite places to get a manicure and a pedi. On my last visit the girl who did my manicure was very careless and cut me in 3 different places. 3 of my finger were bleeding...ewwww! they are "professionals'' they should know better. Awful. I got a regular French mani with a clear top coat. The lady that did my nails left them covered in bubbles. When I brought it to her attention she told me it was because of my nails. Another lady named Annie fixed them for me (thanks, Annie). When I went to pay the first came to ring me up and again told me it was my nails that caused the bubbles -- completely unprovoked. I told her there were no longer any bubbles because Annie fixed them and she again laughed and said it was my nails. I asked for someone else to help me and she said everyone was busy. I asked for her name and she said it was Kathy. Will not be returning. Can get much better quality at the same price at a cleaner establishment with far better customer service. read more

Really wanted to like this place after seeing all the beautiful nails on their Instagram but the quality just isn't there. I don't know the name of the lady who did my nails but they broke 1 week after getting them, the tech filed my nails in the most PAINFUL manner she could possibly find, the design I asked for was sloppy and not what I asked for at all. I wanted to correct her but she was too occupied with her phone, her eyelashes and the lady sitting next to her. Total ended up being $70 with a discount for nails that were very basic. I have been going here for over a year and I have no complaints. There are times when I've gotten there and no one else is there, but when they start getting busy phone calls are made and the ladies come back. The ladies there are very nice, accommodating and polite. I've sat next to customers that have been rude and have even yelled at the ladies. Come on really? Do you want someone yelling at you? So I had my nails done here, I get home and half of my nail comes off, how I don't know? I then figured how my toe nails don't match my nails when I specifically told the lady SAME COLOR. I come here for my pedicures (I like to try out different places for my fingers, but when it comes to my feet, I want to go someplace I trust). Top Nails and Spa is clean and spacious. Everyone wears gloves when working on your feet (until they apply polish), which I appreciate; it means that they care about their health and safety as well as mine. I even watched employees wash the spa basins with a sponge, soap, and hot water. The pedicure is very thorough and the service I've received has been very good. They soak your feet, clean the nails, use an exfoliating scrub, and then lotion and massage your lower legs. Both Queenie and Amy have been very attentive to me and I've really appreciated their friendliness. Once it's time for the polish they use a base coat, two coats of color, and then a clear topcoat. My toes come out looking adorable every time, and it's not just the color I pick! Sometimes I am not offered any additional services, which is fine. Last time Amy offered a callous removal, but wasn't pushy when I said no. She also offered me a regular manicure and a gel manicure, both of which I turned down as well. Again without being pushy she explained that a gel manicure (if I wanted to get one in the future) would protect my nails from the chipping I was experiencing, one of the reasons I declined her offer for a manicure (I try to wait until my nails are in good condition before having someone make them pretty). Finally, she offered me a design on my nails, but I said no thanks and maybe next time. Thorough, but not pushy, which I really appreciated. There are UV dryers that they let you use even if you have gotten a regular manicure/pedicure! A pedicure is $13; they charge an extra dollar if you use a debit card (maybe a credit card too, but I've never used one). A really reasonable price considering the quality of the service! The whole service takes about half an hour when things are moving quickly (i.e. you get a chair as soon as you walk in). read more

Appointment at nine.... The door is finally unlocked at 9:15 Tons of parking, spacious salon, many stations for nails and pedicure chairs, good selection of polishes and a flat screen TV. Spanish chairs are new and very thorough. Instead of the Lil finger feeling mist chairs have, these have large rolling balls. Spa chair definitely is working it's magic on relieving my tension from them not opening on time. Oh....there's a petco, subway, toys r us, etc nearby to kill time until they show up. Ooooooh spa chair foot bath bowl changes colors!!!! Boy do they push the extras! I've been asked 5 times about callous remover. They tried to get my Mr to get service too but he went to cosmetology school and has been scarred with a RED ASPHALT nail shop version ....lol I'm surprised that he's even in here - I will say they're pros at removing ingrown toenails al- I have a hereditary issue l, thanks mom, and there was minimal pain, no digging and no bleeding. And here we go with an offer for massage....for 5 dollars extra. I'm already getting a spa pedicure, I thought it was supposed to come with massage :-/ Note to self: ask the Mr to massage me later I wanna take this spa chair home though. I soooo want to like this place because it is close to work. But I just can't and won't be back. The service is mediocre. The manicures have been ok but I've had 3 poor pedicures. The women who work there seemed rushed even though there was no one waiting. They seem distracted by their incessant chit chat with each other. This is one of those nail salons where they quickly go through each step just because. Taking no obvious care in what they are doing. Way too pricey. BE CAREFUL to clarify IN ADVANCE what it is they will be doing for example a pedicure. If you're not careful they will charge you for additional services without having the courtesy to let you know it's going to cost more. REMEMBER WARNING!!!!!!!! Since I do not live close to Top Nails I have been looking for a nail salon around my area that could match the outcome that Nancy from Top Nails does to my nails. After many different attempts and a lot of over charging from places around my home, I've come a conclusion, there is no place like Top Nails in Montebello. The ladies there are Wonderful. Had to wait a good minute for them to start on my pedicure and then after my pedicure was finished had to wait to start my manicure. But other than the waiting this was a great place. I've been coming here for over 7 years to do my mani/pedi biweekly with the same person. I would actually go out of my way to come here cause I actually don't live nearby, but not anymore. I've noticed that their customer service and attention to detail went down the drain. I normally do not complain when I don't like how my nails are filed or how she painted my nails because I can go home and fix it myself and I would still tip $10 (which I think is a lot, but I liked this salon and my particular person so much.) However, those are things you can fix, but customer service isn't something I can fix. It's quite rude that I'm paying for a service, but when they are annoyed of you, they will talk crap in their language to the rest of their girls to your face. This place was decent. At $21, I received a manicure and pedicure. The mani was completed in 5 minutes. The nail polish near my cuticle was uneven and there was residue left on the side of my nail bed. Two of my toe nails were left also uneven and chipped the following day. The top coat applied on both my toes and hand nails was so half assed, you think the lady had her eyes closed when she applied it. I came here because I was on a time crunch and happen to be nearby. I got acrylic nails The manicurist was fast and efficient. I did not wait to get started. I only got a manicure, but the colors seemed old. The manicurist was too fast at times and lacked attention to detail. There were areas of nail that were not completely covered with nail polish and they looked messy at the end.
