Late yesterday afternoon, my parents' sewage pipes got backed up. Second time in a year!! The first time they got it cleared, whoever did the work just punched a hole through what was even in there, and it was clear until yesterday. After we realized no amount of Drano was going to work this time, I started to look for a plumber. If you don't know, looking for a plumber on a Saturday afternoon/evening isn't easy. The first one I called said they couldn't guarantee service that night and would be able to come Sunday morning. Not the answer I wanted to hear from a supposed 24-hr service plumber. Then I called Top Rank Plumber. I called a little after 6p. Israel answered and said he could come out between 7-8p. That's the answer I wanted!! He was there within the hour and diagnosed the problem. It was a much bigger problem than I expected. The drainage was completely clogged, and he had to punch the camera through to be able to see past it. Long story short, he cleared what he could for the night, and made an appointment to come back the following morning to hydrojet the crap (pun intended) out of the pipes. Each time he made an appointment and came out, he sent a confirmation text, which was a thoughtful and professional gesture. Highly recommend! At 8:45pm on Sunday night we had a plumbing emergency when wastewater and sewage started backing up into our downstairs shower. We called Top Rank and they were able to schedule a tech to arrive between 9-11pm that same night. Israel arrived around 10:20pm and was able to isolate the problem (even with my old house making things difficult) clear the issue and was on his way by midnight. I had a plumbing problem with a blocked sewer line to one part my house. I called Top Rank Plumbing. They came the next day and looked at my line with a camera and discovered I had cast iron sewer pipes. Because these were cast iron the pipes, the pipes had lots of scaling buildup (the house is about 40 years old). The blockage was so bad (compounded by all the scaling) they couldn't actually clear it with a snake. Deven from Top Rank explained to me the problem and showed me with the line camera the issues. Fortunately they offer a descaling service that I opted for. They came back 2 days later and worked for 2 whole days late to first clear the line then clean out all the scaling on the cast iron sewer pipes, so they wouldn't get blocked right away again. They showed me with the line camera the progress as they worked over the 2 days. Furthermore, they also look for cracks and fractures in the lines (fortunately none showed up). I now have clear sewer lines just about as good as the day the house was first built. I was really impressed with the professionalism of the whole team: Ryan (who did most of the work), Deven, and Israel. When problems came up they just dealt with the situation. They stayed late the last day doing multiple descaling runs and camera inspections to make sure they could get almost all the scales of the insides of the pipes they could. They made sure everything was back in order and cleaned up in the house from the work before they left. I highly recommend Top Rank Plumbing and if a plumbing need ever rises (hopefully not), I plan to use them again. It's great to find good reliable people that know their stuff. read more

I usually do not prefer writing reviews for businesses, but after my experience with Top Rank Plumbing, I felt compelled to share my experience. Our project consisted of two requests -- replace the kitchen sink and repair a very unusual issue with the shower faucet. I felt these two requests were common enough, and therefore simple and quick jobs to undertake. But I was surprised that every single plumbing business I contacted via Yelp, Craigslist, Angie's List, and even Thumbtack all turned me down on the basis of the job description I provided. However, Top Rank Plumbing was THE ONLY ONE who agreed to not only come out and assess the work, but take the jobs on too. That was the first positive experience with them -- that they did not assess the work on the basis of a customer's written description (which by the way, could be extremely flawed because customers often are not the experts), but on the basis of their professional assessment. That means they took time out of their already packed schedule with other customers to at least come to our home, assess the work, speak with us in person, and answer any questions. Whereas other plumbers just said "no" without truly understanding the customer's circumstances, Top Rank Plumbing at least put in the effort to understand what the issues were. The second positive outcome of my experience with them was their commitment to deliver QUALITY results. It turned out that the kitchen sink replacement was not so cut and dry after all. It necessitated extra parts, extra hours of labor, and some very creative problem-solving. And Top Rank Plumbing never charged an extra dime above what they already provided as a quote! Despite putting in the additional hours of work as well as purchasing more parts out of their own pocket, they stayed true to the amount they quoted and did not pass on those expenses to us. I must admit, I was completely impressed by that level of work ethic and integrity. And finally, I must commend Top Rank Plumbing for having the friendliest and most customer-centric work technicians on their work force. They answered all our questions promptly and were extremely polite. They arrived on time and cleaned up very well after their job was completed. I also liked that Top Rank Plumbing answered our texts after hours -- another testament to their commitment in providing amazing customer support. Of all businesses out there, I can count on only one hand those that deserve the merit of being top-ranked. That is how high my standards are for what I consider stellar customer service.
