All other foods on point. 9 hole on site-- GREAT activity for the more competitive golfers. Bar on every level, expensive (but expected for venue) Great spot to host a corporate event/ party Similar to bowling, but more fun! AND with more interactive games. We spent over 500 dollars here and when we got here the machine wasn't working so we delayed 25 minutes on our game .... When we spoke to the manager Anansa first off she was extremely rude on not giving us the 25 minutes we paid for on top of accusing us for the neighboring party vaping next to us. I got the chicken sandwich, and we spilt the Buffalo chicken dip and chicken wings. Great facility, awful management. I've been in 3x now and 2x we've been treated poorly. On our last visit, we paid for 4 hours of play with just 3 guys... spent over $1,000. We ordered our last round of beers, the drinks took forever to come out... the game ended, the drinks finally came out, then instead of them telling us politely that we had to move to the bar area so other patrons can play, the workers rudely/forcefully picked up our glasses and forced us to the bar area. Management needs to learn how to talk to people. We would have gladly stood up and moved but they were so rude that we had to say something. I had a great time at Topgolf. My friend made a Saturday evening reservation a week ahead of time. I would not dare come here without a reservation unless it was the middle of the day on a weekday so in other words, I would not come here without a reservation. We had a great time and the staff was very accommodating. It did take about an hour for our food to come out. They apologized and tacked on some extra time to our game play. I would avoid the food here. One order was completely burnt and was sent back and refunded. I had the spicy fried chicken sandwich. It was cold and very salty. The Caesar salad was the size of a side salad. We all agreed the food was subpar. I would still definitely return again with a group to play and enjoy their drinks. read more

Sent information 6/8/22: Today is 7/3 and have not heard anything so while I appreciate the PR of the message they sent in reply below, it was empty and nothing came of the email AND phone number I provided. Wanted to hold a corporate event there and discuss pricing for different packages, food options, etc. Had such a great time at the Vegas location, including delicious food and drinks from a bay with a swimming pool. So cool, right? When we called we were told that no bookings were discussed until 14 days before the event. When we called 14 days before the event, we were told that they were booked. How are you booking events when you do not allow bookings until 14 days ahead of time? In response, the person on my team was sent an impersonal email that did not give her an avenue to discuss her question or even discuss a different date. The company I work for is one of the larger companies in the LA area and I will be sure to tell everyone in my network who works here and does not work here about this experience. This is LA and there are so many ways to spend our corporate dollars including those that include other golfing experiences. read more

I've been here 3 times now. Overall, you're going to have a fun time at TopGolf. The El Segundo facility is pretty new so everything looks pretty good. There is plenty of parking available, also saw some EV chargers + valet parking. Highly recommend making a reservation (they allow you to make it 1 week in advance) if you're trying to go during a prime time. The website is actually really helpful in letting you know which times are busier than others. If you go early in the morning it's usually the cheapest! Suggest you getting a bay on the 2nd or 3rd floor if possible. Something about playing on the first floor just isn't nearly as satisfying. The regular game is pretty good, though I still have no idea how the actual scoring system works. If you just want to goof around, Angry Birds is pretty fun as well. Food service - its what you'd expect at this kind of establishment. It's overpriced, but actually not bad. The service can be a bit slow though so you'll have to be patient. I'd probably rate it higher if the food service were faster. Overall, this is a great group or even solo activity. Don't need a lot of golf skill to have a good time! read more

So fun! We came opening weekend and they were still working some kinks out but overall we had a blast. The place is huge and slick and has lots of games you can play so you don't have to be a good golfer to have a good time. Everything is generally on the pricier side but worth it for the unique experience. It's a good place to grab some drinks with your friends and hit some balls out in the fresh air. The sales department here did an excellent job with communicating and giving me a detailed event order experience. They are so on point it made me very excited for my event--kudos to them! I honestly am so disappointed in the service. Here is the breakdown: You pay a lot of money for an event for hosts at the door who would fail a shopper report right off the bat for just being straight rude: no eye contact, "reservation" --no welcome or smile, as if you're not welcome if you haven't paid them. Had to ask them several questions because even though I had a "catered event" they were not any help or even personable. The bartender was very sweet and alert. She greeted us and even though she was busy she told us she would be right with us. Professional, enjoyed her service. Upon getting to our bays we had a bubbly server, but cared more to get on your good side than actually deliver good service. I appreciate her personableness. However, paying for a almost $2000 event, with plates stacked up, not ONCE cleared, utensil to cut a cake that never arrived, server missing constantly and not getting drink orders for 20 plus min at a time bc "our system crashed", seeing the other "catered" parties that had happy birthday sang to them by the employees, but not our party was plain out embarrassing! On top of that, supervisors (red shirts) laughing with servers obviously seeing them lacking, but not once checking how the prepaid thousand(s) dollar parties are doing was a lack in leadership and management... The food wasn't as described & when the server was asked, the response was "I can't tell them how to make the food" I should have got what I paid for. I left so upset, my husband's birthday that I was looking forward to and paid for was honestly the worst experience and my guests were just as embarrassed as me. Overall had a good time, however there were several issues. We had a scheduled time of 3:30, and were told multiple times our bay wasn't ready yet, and weren't able to start until after 4:15. We also had a prepaid food and drink allotment, which we could not use at the bar until our bay had opened. Heads up to everyone that you will need to wait a LONG TIME. We put our name down at 12:50pm on Saturday and they told us 4-5 hours. We came back 4.5 hours later and they told us it would be another hour. No worries at all, things happen. We ate a bit, checked in again and they said it would be another hour. So after waiting a little longer, we were told it would be ANOTHER hour wait because people are extending their time. I understand it's a popular place cause it's new, but they need to have a better system in place to keep customers updated. The reservation system didn't work when we tried a week ago and the online estimated waiting is NOT accurate at all. Perhaps putting a time cap on how much people can extend would be a good solution. It would have been fine if they told us it would be at least three hours by the time we stopped here in the first place, but we wasted our time sitting here thinking we'd get to our bay in an hour, only for it to be extended constantly. 3+ hours later, still waiting. read more

Giving one star since there is no 0 star option. The front desk staff - 4 girls at the front desk. 3 just hanging out and talking. One girl at the register, operations manager at another register. To add, the staff wasn't presentable. We get told it is a 30 minute wait when we arrived - great. No problem. We'll grab lunch while we wait. Not a great idea. Food was mediocre. The wait staff literally kept overlooking our booth which was ironic considering we were in the middle of two other tables. You couldn't miss us. The waiter never came back to ask if we wanted more drinks - he never even brought us water we requested 3 times. We had to pretty much walk behind the bar to get our waiter to close out our tab. 2 hours later and countless trips to the front desk , we ask how far are we on the waitlist? the response : " it doesn't matter where you were on the list, we're hoping within 15 minute".. "cannot guarantee a time.. People keep extending they're time at the bays.." then what is the point of getting on a wait list?? Also, why are there are empty bays while we are waiting hours??? You are the Operations Manager, you should be able to understand the business and how to problem solve - you should at least know how to apologize to your guests. 3 hours later we gave up and left. Which is sad considering if when we arrived the staff said "hey it's looking like a 2+ hour wait.." we could've decided to leave and enjoy our Sunday. I had one and then took my cup back for a refill. I got a check for $43 and change and signed out for over $48 (with $5 tip)... Was this the Tuesday special? Is it normally more? This is Las Vegas right? OMG I went week ahead of time in person to get the lay of the land and talked to about 5 different folks to help figure out how to get 10-15pp from work (not all can swing a club) to get folks a reasonable lunch for an employee who's going-away. Needed to understand pricing and how extra folks can hang out with us if not playing golf, etc. Overall at this location is still working on coordinating groups and helping reserve things. I failed on my pre-outing. They said to reserve online, but funny how they only allow 10 bays to be reserved online... so it is always SOLD OUT online. Clever marketing ploy? or just a pain for me? Everything else is walk in only, so I walked in to check it out. I needed a Tuesday at 1145am and the place was sold out online. Yet it was 90% empty when I was there the Tuesday prior. Since nothing next week is available, they said to walk in. But I didn't want to do this with 10 or so people. At then end of about 30 minutes of scouting for reasonable lunch options, they told me to go to Customer Service on the 1st floor. They said I should talk to an "event planner"... so I asked if I could talk to an "event planner". Customer service said event planner isn't available like that and they don't take phone calls - they handed me a pen and a paper card that they apparently use "to schedule a call with event planner". (I felt bad that they were still using pencils and paper so I left with no real firm answers on how to get my group in for lunch.) Overall this place is too pricey - the Drink Prices are outrageous without any warning. The technology and the new build out is very nice. I hope they get things under control and setup reasonable pricing for weekday lunch outings. read more

This place was fun. Never been golfing or to a driving range or even held a club before going to this place. This place was a great intro in golfing. The weather was perfect. The place was at least 3 stories and is very impressive. It made wearing my collared shirt seem appropriate. I made sure to get reservations as I read many negative reviews about people just walking in and having to wait hours. My wife and I had a bay to ourselves with a table and a friendly host who showed us the basics and took our drink and food orders. The breakfast burrito (10am reservation) was better than expected and drinks were pretty good. Beer list was extensive enough. It was a fairly expensive outing but well worth it in my opinion given the amenities. We'll definitely be back. read more

We came here first opening weekend but had a reservation. Honestly, it went very smooth for us. Our server was prompt with bringing beverages and the food in a timely manner. We ordered a lot of food and to be honest it was really good. Highly suggest the donuts. We didn't have any issues with our bay, the screen at the top was a bit slow but other than that everything else worked perfectly. For being the first weekend open and all the people, I commend the staff, the bartenders, our waiter and the cooks, did amazing. I will agree with some of the other posts that the front had a few employees just standing around talking to each other, they were a bit disorganized but overall we had a great time! Like all new businesses opening, there will be hiccups, no one is perfect, but it makes me happy to see that management does respond to these posts/reviews and acknowledges. They're trying and it's commendable. Definitely will come back! The games are really fun, and when it's a beautiful warm day, you see the sunset, spending time with your friends and just having a great time, that's top golf. TopGolf is a fun experience and to get the most fun experience is with a group. It is on the pricey side. Depending on the time you visit, price is $45/hr, $55/hr and $65/hr and look on paying more over the weekend. Topgolf added some competitive spin to it. Where there is a point system. It's great for all kind of skill level. They have their set of clubs you can use or you can bring your own. We visited for a staff team outing. We had our own dedicated staff to take care of our orders and just what ever we needed. Staff are very accommodating and friendly. They took care of our group from beginning to end. Would I personally come back on my own, probably not. But, I will with a big group. I do enjoy going to the range but it's just a bit too expensive at Topgolf. read more

I should have read the other reviews prior to booking our event here. If you have Casey as your sales rep, I'd immediately ask for a new rep. Casey incorrectly informed us that the lux bays can have 8 players. Our contract also states 16 players. All bays can only accommodate 6 players by nature of the game. When we got to our bay, it was completely unexpected and we had too many players that could play at one time. So why are we paying for a bigger bay if we all can't play? So Casey can have a bigger commission check. Gus, the General Manager, was very kind enough to extend our time by 30 min to allow for more players to play. But honestly, it wasn't the experience we were looking for if we all couldn't play. We should have just rented 3 bays. However, Monica our server/host was AMAZING. You are in good hands if you have her. 5/5 stars. She made our event special and without her we really would have felt that we wasted our money. Overall notes: - the location of lux bays 301 & 302 are not the best... they're far to the left so not as many targets and you can't hit straight on. - the welcome experience is a bit odd. When you arrive they ask if you have a reservation (albeit, ours was wrong because the staff didn't have the right schedule printed so that was a 15 min hiccup waiting for a manager to smooth that out), but after that... nobody walks you to your bay or says anything. - you can't register names prior to your time starting. You can spend 15 min adding all the names and info and that is time wasted when you can be golfing. read more

This visit was just to visit, have some food and a drink and check the place out. No golf bays were available and that was fine. We sat at a table near the bar and ordered some basics. Basing this review on the food experience only... really rough. We were so nice and polite the entire time. In the end the server just slapped the bill down; no "thank you" or anything. It was unclear who our server even was, meaning we had a various group tending to the whole section. The food took a very long time to arrive. Thought they forgot us. We didn't complain or make any comments. My turkey avocado wrap was pre-made for sure. Tasted like vending machine food. My son's chicken strips lunch had three tiny strips. The hummus plate was pretty good. Most of the staff was nice with the exception of our server. I was prepared for bad service since they are new but not as bad as it was. There's no excuse for what happened. No one was trained at all. No one knew table numbers. Disaster. So my advice... go for the golf. If you order food, expect chain/low-quality. I hope their service improves drastically all around because it has such potential to be a great experience. But leadership needs to accept responsibility and do some major internal reflection before it's too late. This place is being driven by profit margins over customer experience. Came here on a Saturday night and we only waited 2 hours for a walk-in reservation. We received a text notification that our bay was ready and from there on my group of friends and I had an amazing time. Instructions on how to play were clear and straightforward, our server Andres did an AMAZING job bringing waters, food, and mini doughnuts for our friend who was celebrating a birthday. We had a memorable first-time experience at Topgolf in El Segundo and I will definitely be coming back. Went to Top Golf with a few friends while out of town a few weeks ago for Father's Day. Service was top notch. There was no waiting, and food and drinks came quick. Had always wanted the Top Gold experience and felt like that's what we got. We also had a couple of the staff come up and check in on us to make sure everything was going well. I have been here 4 times. 3 of 4 times were a bad experience with an extremely long wait time. The one good time was a company event for happy hour on a weekday. This reason I am writing this post is because this last visit we waited for 3 hours, then when we got the text for our lane, we physically went down to check in and they said we need to reply to the text which we did, and had proof. They said they never got it the reply and gave our lane away. Then told us we can longer get a top floor lane, which we waiting 3+ hours for and said we could only get a lane on the second floor. The only negative thing I experienced was with the check in desk. When I checked in I requested to be on the 3rd level. After waiting 3 hours they put us on the 1st. The lady at the desk was rude and said I have to go back on the wait list to get the 3rd level. We had a great first time experience at this new location in el segundo. The thing that stuck out to me was how accommodating the management team was especially Diego. Super nice guy and he will be the reason why we come back. Haven't received hospitality like that from an establishment in quite a while. He helped us get set up and made the whole process easy. I know how intimidating it can be when it's a weekend and we're trying to get to our bay quick and hassle free. Opening day! Gosh it was a mess! What can you expect though everyone scrambling to satisfy the crowds. Parking it's big but it does get full. They have a valet for $7.00 bucks. My suggestion if you have not done a reservation do not get the valet you may have to wait up to 4 hours. There IT system needs a bit of a ramp up to many glitches but they are aware of it. Crowd was controlled okay. Some people were bothered they were turned away but it was busy if u didn't have a reservation. I didn't try the food so can't write about it. Drink were okay. My 5 stars Econ from the way the staff handled the crowds still with a smile even though they were tired. So be ready to pay 75 bucks an hour for a bay. I'm sure the crowds will die down once word get around. Will I go back and Tee out some balls yeah def! From family time to date night. We went there for a birthday party of my son's 8 year old boy. Initially, without knowing it was not allowed, we brought in beers we had with us. Once they told us we have to buy the alcohol at their bar, we tossed it out, no issues, no fuss. 30 minutes later they came to us saying: "we tried, but we have to ask you to leave". It came out of the blue. No one came to us, since we tossed the beers, we didn't speak to anyone, but they said there were "comments". They actually threatened us to call the cops in front of our 8 year old kids. I have never experienced anything like this in my whole life. No sure why the wanted to kick us out. Maybe they did not like our tan. It was outrageous and the little kids did not deserve to have their party stopped because of narrow minded people. read more

I was there on a Monday night with a group of 12 people that rented two spaces. We spent well over $600 altogether. I ordered one alcoholic beverage and was told I could leave it on a table behind me. I turned around and it was gone. The waitress said she would get me another one. Turned out it was the "supervisor" that bussed my table. She refused to replace my drink and she said the drink was empty. I told her it wasn't empty, I clearly had at least another sip or two. And she should've asked me. I was standing right there. She again refused to replace a drink and offered to sell me another one. It was a work night and I didn't want to pay for another drink much less drink another drink. It ruined the night for me and my guests. It's the closest Topgolf to me, but I would never go back there again. I think her name was Bania? I called the next night to file the complaint and it was the 800 number. They said someone would call me back, but it's been more than four weeks and no one has called. Terrible establishment! Don't go. They'll ruin your evening over what a dollar worth of alcohol? I wish we would've never tipped them, but that wasn't fair to the waiter. He serviced us well and his superviser clearly doesn't know her job. Horrible, horrible management! Don't go!!! read more
