It's all fun and there is no reason why you wouldn't enjoy this place. However management could manage the crowd better in my opinion. Looks like sometimes they let those go before others who appear to be more pushy. We once waited for two hours but nobody called , when we talked to them and showed our frustration, they gave us bay. Best to come during off peak times, Monday - Wednesday from 11am - 2pm. Plenty of parking around the building. Great helpful staff. Cost about $20 per hour in the daytime, each bay has a rack of clubs and drivers for you to use if you don't bring your own. The range is pretty clean and wide with some holes. There is a great interactive scoring system if your ball goes into a hole. When you want ball to come out to put on the tee, you just wave your driver over the laser in your bay. Ordering food and drinks are easy when your server comes. Food arrives pretty quick if the place is not that busy or crowded. Must admit, food is not overly priced and tasted much better than any of restaurants in the area. I would come here just for the bar and the food alone if you don't feel like golfing. read more

This was my second time at Top Golf! I rate them a Five because I believe everything is done to perfection. The last time I came to golf the parking lot was full to capacity and there was no where to park. This time they added additional parking space and for the people that have to park farther away and walk they have golf carts that pick you up and drop you off at the entrance. When you climb the grand entrance someone welcomes you and asks if you have any questions. Once inside of you have made a reservation they will give you your information and set you up in your section. They have a few seating arrangements you can choose from. High top table, lounge seating to name a few. The food is pretty good I was surprised. I had the chicken wings on my last visit and those come in a variety of flavored they are succulent and tasty. The flatbreads also come in a variety and great not dry or overdone just baked to perfection. On my last visit I Also had the chicken and waffles. That was dry and overdone. They took it back and let me choose another dish. The drinks are delish. This time I only had San Pellegrino water. You can't go wrong with that. The service is on point, courteous, polite, checking back on a consistent basis and was so great taking our photos. Let me preface this by saying that I am not a golfer, but have been to driving ranges before. Also, to be fair, last time I've been to a driving range was 15 years ago, and have driven by many, but this???? Nothing like this, ever! This looks like the driving range you've seen in some futuristic movie. 3 levels, incredibly clean, but what is impressive is the technology. There are multiple targets on the range of different sizes at different distances. You walk up, wave your club above the ball dispenser which then gives you a ball. When you hit the ball, it knows how far you've hit it and gives you points if you get it in one of the targets which displays on a screen. WOW. I'm a technology person, and I'm impressed! It was cold outside, but somehow, the area was very well heated were we never felt even close to being cold, another impressing feat. The staff was always very nice, polite, friendly, helpful, and always smiling. You can obviously bring your own clubs. Not being a golfer, I can't say if they were good or not, but didn't seem good or bad. We ordered a bunch of food for everyone, and surprisingly enough, the food was really good. Top Golf is the new, highly buzzed about driving range that offers food and drinks while you play. It features state of the art technology that has computer chips that track each golf ball every specific player hits. The computer in your private bay reports how far your ball went and whether it entered any of the holes in the driving range field. There are several games you can play, all of which are explained on your computer. Paying for the bay rental is also done at the computer, which also allows for easy bill splitting in between the players. You will need a credit card to pay, and bays have a maximum of 6 players. Each bay has a waiter to take food and drink orders, and you close yourself out when you are ready. Although you can bring your own clubs, each bay has its own full set. The wait times for a bay can get long during peak hours. My group waited it out at the restaurant, which also has a full service bar. There are a lot of televisions for you to catch sports games. Servers are nice enough, but it is really slow. Our waitress brought us lemons for our water wrapped in paper napkins from the bar and placed them on the table, which was really gross. Like Top Golf couldn't spare an extra plate to put lemons on, especially when none of us asked for lemons to begin with. I ordered a golf bag fish bowl, which is a "shareable" giant drink. It comes with cute golf club straws. I got the pineapple flavor, and it's dangerously delicious. The alcohol isn't too strong, and I ended up drinking the whole thing. It is a bit expensive; $30 to barely get a buzz. But it tastes good. My group was told an estimated wait for 1.5 hours, but we were called to our bays in 45 minutes. The concierge, as they are called, were very friendly and accommodating because we asked for 2 bays next to each other, since our group was so large. A Top Golf representative walked us to our bay and stays to explain everything if it is your first time playing. Our food arrived at our bay. I ordered the crab cake sandwich, which came with sweet potato fries. The crab meat and dressing was delicious, but my sandwich came with heavily buttered bread slices, it hurt my stomach to keep eating. My friend ordered the same, and he agreed there was too much butter. My boyfriend ordered the steak sandwich (I can't remember the name); his bread wasn't buttered as much, and he thought it was just okay. Basically, you're stuck eating Top Golf food at their facility. It's on the more expensive side, so if you don't want to get just finger food snacks, I suggest eating before going to your game. The technology is cool and the games are fun. But you won't be going to Top Golf to enjoy the food. read more

Fun group outing place for golf lovers and amateurs. I have been here a couple times now. I recommend going in a group of at least 4. Both for the enjoyment piece and pricing. A bay costs $25-45 per hour depending on what time you go. I believe it was $25 before noon, $35 noon-5pm, and $45 after 5pm. But the price is the same regardless of how many of you are using the bay. So it's can be an expensive date or a pretty cheap split between a group of friends! Pros: Variety of game types keep the play interesting. Good upscale pub food and drink selection. No need to bring any clubs, good selection of Men's and Women's clubs at each bay. Cons: I have never had very good service on a visit. When my wife and I went at noon today, we were playing for 20 minutes before anyone came by our bay to take a drink order. And when I have been during busier evening times, I would walk to the bar because it was faster than waiting for the waitress. For the price, I expect better service. read more

I've been here several times already and haven't had a bad time yet let alone a bad meal. Ideal time to come is right before the rush if you want to actually golf, around 5pm-6pm. I think thats your prime time. The later it gets the longer the wait...tried for 8pm one day and there was a 4 hour wait. The earlier the better! As for food, went for brunch over the holiday weekend and just about had the best Steak and eggs I may have ever eaten and the Bloody Mary bar was a fun little endeavor. Other satisfying options: the MacDaddy Burger was pretty delicious as are the sweet potato fries (love that they come in their own little fryer basket), Turkey burger is excellent as well and on my last visit had one of their GolfBag (fishbowl) Drinks, the Sully Slam tasted kind of like a watermelon jolly rancher, not bad if you like sweet drinks.. I'm not a golfer myself, but its a fun and pressure free way to practice your swing and hit...or rather miss the ball. read more

We got to go into the signature room which had its own bar featuring Patronus Punch-a sangria with dry ice- and it was awesome! They had decorations for the theme and the event was so well put together. Before trivia we went in a bay and hit some golf balls. It was pretty because each hole was lit with a different color. The bays were a little pricey but if you have a group of people it wouldn't be too bad. You can even pay for just a half hour which is convenient. I like that you can order food while playing. I had the mushi which is Mexican sushi and it was really tasty! The chicken was super hot and it paired well with the rice. My fiancé got the Mac and cheese burger and he said it was alright. This was a blast !! Got there around noon checked in with a guy with a very good personality - funny and welcoming . Explained how things worked and sent us to our bay . Greeted promptly and told how to set up our game . Waitress came over with big glasses of water and menus . We ordered and started to play . Food was good Greg had grilled chicken sandwich and I had the nachos . The most fun was playing the golf . It's a blast - the balls have micro chips in them so the game board tracks where it lands in conjunction with the targets you aim for . So much fun . Everyone should go have a fun day . One tip is eat first before you start the game you pay for an hour and eating took up time where could have been hitting the ball . There were 2 of us and we got three games in . Topgolf is a super fun place but seems to be on the expensive side if you want to play anytime outside of early bird hours. If you don't arrive before 4 p.m., expect the wait to be at least 1.5 - 2 hours. No joke; we arrived at 5:30 p.m. on a Saturday and were told it would be about 2 and a half hours - and it was like 40 DEGREES outside. They said that it was "unusually busy" but this did not make the wait any warmer. We huddled upstairs near one of the bars that wasn't too crowded and were able to hang near the seasonally installed heaters which offered basically zero protection/relief from the bitter wind. This is not Topgolf's fault, I suppose. They are clearly attracting crowds from all over the Tampa Bay area and beyond. And to the staff's credit, they were incredibly patient given all of the people huddled around who were impeding their paths as they hurriedly carried trays of food and drinks to and fro. Also, to our temporary dismay, one of my friend's birthday balloons detached from the string and got lodged in the ceiling area, thankfully not blowing completely away. A Topgolf employee didn't hesitate to get a claw-like grabbing tool and was kind of enough to retrieve the balloon from its tricky position. The staff definitely went above and beyond in helpfulness! How to avoid that entry wait time though - Onething that we learned is that you can actually book a reservation online if you meet the minimum requirements (certain number of people in your party) - but I believe that you may have to pay an additional fee for booking that reservation - none of which goes toward the cost of playing. We were also told that they will allow you to wait virtually, meaning you can check in, head to Dave & Buster's (or back home if you happen to live close), and simply wait for the text that alerts you when your bay is ready. Topgolf's features are definitely worth the wait - even if you do it just one time. Get in line early, pay the one-time $5.00 for your member card, and try to play as fast as you can to make the most of your "time", which seems to tick by incredibly fast. I also found that it was fun to go with a group, but it was more fun to go with just one person, as we both got more actual "playing time". With a group of 6, we barely got through more than one game in two hours. read more

It's 3 stories and they have music, corn hole and a sitting bar area where you can order food and drinks while you wait for your bay to be open. Long wait so I suggest making a reservation and depending on the day and time reservations range from $0-$50. So if you have a large group to split it's not a bad idea but otherwise the wait is usually shorter than they say. Their drinks are a little pricey for average $6 / beer but their food is pretty reasonable and really good! Good presentation and great taste. Price is by the bay and not per person and they will split it for you. You must have a one time card for $5 that you will scan when you get to your bay.
