Had to come back and change my 4 stars to 5 stars. This is literally my favorite sushi spot. It's always quick, fresh and every roll is so goood!!! Their specialty rolls are unique and affordable without cutting quality. Service is a solid 10 out of 10. It's always a pleasure chatting with the employees and especially Yani. Sushi rolls are a 10 out of 10. My favs are: - salmon belly truffle roll - Marauders - fried Tora Tora

As basic as it can get. If you want some quick, not too fancy, and/or don't expect much of flavors, this is it. Quickly eat and go.

This is my fourth time getting food here but my first time eating in the restaurant. I usually get take out. I wanted to treat my kids to sushi. When I take the kids for sushi, because it is so pricey we go to Little Sakana across the street for the AYCE. But of course when we went, it was a 40 minute wait. It was time to eat, no one was going to wait 40 minutes. So we came here instead. We were served instantly. And truly I don't know why I didn't think to come here first. I ordered the sashimi plate which I shared with my kids, fried calamari, mango habanero roll and four Philly rolls for my kids. The soup and salad came out fast and I was instantly impressed with why I knew this place was always 5 stars. The ingredients are just superior and fresh. That salad never tasted so good to me as it did that day. And that's just salad. Now my kids usually don't eat sashimi but they DEVOURED what I gave them. It was salmon, tuna, yellowtail and I think albacore. That's saying a lot. What kid eats raw fish? Mine apparently. But the quality is why they didn't find it gross. I've had sashimi before that I never would have given my kids. This was just great. The mango habanero roll was spicy. It was just like the server said it would be, if you like spicy you can handle it but you will pay for it later. The flavors were great but I did pay for it later. Haha! My kids ate and were full and so did I. I have to remember this place not just for take out but to eat in too. Only problem is there is no bathroom. I think that might be true for Bobalicious and Sayulita's as well, I could be wrong. You would have to go to Target for the nearest bathroom.

If you want some quick sushi, this place is the place to be! We ordered 3 rolls plus an appetizer and they all came out in less than 10 minutes! We were super surprised at how quick the food came out. The quality of fish was great as well. The only downfall was the crispy rice roll. The rice to fish ratio was like 4:1. Other than this, we'd come back again.

I come here often to get crunchy roll, California roll, mango habanero roll and gyoza. The service has been consistent . It's a small restaurant with unique decor. There's plenty of parking out front. I'll continue to go back when i crave some crunchy rolls.

This is a very tiny place. There's about 3 or 4 tables and then a bar like seating. It has some cool artwork. I think it's expensive here. Really expensive actually, but I like the sashimi plate I got. All the fish was actually fresh and taste great. It came woth salad and miso soup. Drinks are separate. It cost me 35$ with tip. For that price i could have gone to little sakana down the street for ayce. The service is great. The cashier was helpful and really kind. They clean up after you when you're finished.

For a fast food type of sushi this place is pretty decent. The rolls aren't that big but for a quick snack of something fast it's definitely good! We got the chuck (spicy tuna, shrimp tempura, avocado, krab, tempura flakes, soy glaze and spicy mayo). The spicy ahi here is also a little different from back home in Hawaii. Our is a mayo type while this one didn't have that type of spicy ahi. But still a good roll. Our friends said they come here a lot and love it too!

Great quality fish, very fresh with no fishy taste. I recommend getting the takoyaki, very crispy and flavorful.

Cute little Japanese place in a strip mall. Not a lot of seating inside, most people order to go. We pushed 2 tables together and the 4 of us sat outside. Portions are generous at a reasonable price. Miso salmon and katsu curry plates had good flavor but the gyudon bowl was too salty. The rolls tasted fresh and were very filling but could've gone without the truffle oil.

Another spur of the moment pick for dinner. The place is pretty small, so it seems like it's meant primarily for stop in and takeout. Service speed was alright, and flavors for rolls were interesting, but some rolls could've had a bit more emphasis on the fish. Wouldn't say it's horrible, but it's no stand out.

We ordered from Tora Tora through Uber Eats, and it was a nice choice, especially with the BOGO deals available. The gyoza were good, especially when dipped into the miso soup. I haven't dined in yet, but just from picking up the order, the place has a small quaint vibe. There's a big mural on the wall inside that immediately catches your eye and adds some personality to the spot. Seems like a reasonable choice if you're in the area and craving some sushi

Nice little sushi spot, fish tasted good, we loved the salmon skin handroll. All the rolls we got tasted fresh! The prices did go up from when we last came so the are on par with regular sushi restaurants. We ordered like 5 rolls and waited like 30 mins. If you're ordering to go it might be best than eating there. Customer service was good just note, there's minimal eating space inside.

It was meh, simply nothing really special about the meal. It wasn't horrible but wasn't amazing. I probably won't come back when there are better sushi spots around.

Our complimentary sweet treat. Green tea ice cream and a fortune cookie.

The server let us know a huge party was coming in right after the brunch time so that was very considerate. The food had variety which included Filipino spaghetti, bread rolls with ube butter, tocino, Longanisa, fried rice and rice, bistek, pinakbrt, eggs, ube pancakes ... and a few other dishes haha I wish I took pictures but I was super hungry. My dad is in a scooter so while it is handicap accessible, accessing the buffet is a little awkward so I suggest asking to be sat closer to the buffet or closer to the door and have someone help the people at your table. I can tell this restaurant is used as a party space since. It's decorated and kept quite simple. I would recommend this place for sure!

Since we live more than an hour away, we waited until we were already in the area. Two days ago, we finally stopped by. Unfortunately, our experience was disappointing. The first thing we noticed upon walking in was an unusual odor that wasn't very inviting. Since it wasn't their Sunday buffet day, we ordered à la carte: kare-kare, crispy pata, and chicken inasal. The service was good, food presentation was nice, and the dishes looked promising. However, the flavors did not meet our expectations. The kare-kare did not taste like traditional kare-kare, and the bagoong alamang was extremely salty with a very strong odor. The crispy pata had been chopped into pieces before frying, making it look and eat more like lechon kawali than the crispy pata we expected. As for the chicken inasal, it was far from the traditional version we're familiar with--it didn't even appear grilled and resembled chicken satay more than inasal. There were three of us dining, and all of us shared the same impressions of the food. Based on their advertising about serving food that's "as good as Nanay's," we came in with high expectations, but sadly, those expectations were not met. This was our first visit, and unfortunately, it will likely be our last. While others may have a different experience, we were not impressed with the food and would not make the drive back for another visit.

One of my favorite things about this place is how easy it is. You order on the kiosk, grab a seat, and your food usually comes out within like 10-15 minutes. The inside has a lot of seating and even games like Jenga which makes it feel like a fun spot to hang out for lunch. I didn't interact much with service since I used the kiosk, but the worker upfront was really friendly and even brought my takeout to my table. This time I tried the Dynamite Crawfish Bowl and the Dynamite Fries. The bowl comes with crawfish, rice, dynamite sauce, eel sauce, seaweed, sesame seeds, and pickled radish on top. The fries normally come with sweet potato fries but I swapped mine for regular fries because I just wasn't feeling sweet potato that day. The fries were honestly kind of underwhelming. It was basically fries with dynamite sauce and only a few pieces of garlic confit, which was the part I was most excited for. They weren't bad, just really underwhelming. I honestly think the sweet potato fries probably would've worked better with the flavors. The crawfish bowl though was really good. The crawfish had this slight smoky flavor to it like it was lightly torched and they give you a lot in each bite. The rice was fluffy and cooked perfectly and the pickled radish on top helped cut through all the richness from the sauces. Everything worked really well together flavor wise. My only complaint is that halfway through the bowl the flavors started blending together a little too much and it gets boring, but overall it was still super satisfying and filling. Definitely still one of my favorite quick lunch spots in Carmel Mountain and somewhere I'd bring friends because the menu has so many good options. Their dessert menu also sounds insane so I already know I'll be back.
