This specific BBW location is such a hit and miss with wait times, service, and quality of food…read more On our most recent visit we waited approximately10-15 minutes for a server to come to our table even though there were about 6 walking around in the section we were sat in. We were trying to be patient because unfortunately my hubby loves BBWs and this is a location we are very familiar with and know from experience service is commonly slow. We decided to give a few more minutes and if the wait time exceeded 20 minutes we were leaving. Our server eventually showed up, and since we are "experts" in ordering we were not going to risk waiting so we placed our food order at the same time as our drinks. Food and drinks came out about 8-10min later. This time my cauliflower wings were hot, nice and spicy mango habanero flavor but I was disappointed they no longer top them off with chopped green onions, pickled jalapeño slices and sesame seeds. Now they are serving them without toppings which is awfully sad as they are pretty pricey item on the menu. Hubby orders his usual which is 18 traditional, all flats, extra crispy medium heat level. They no longer serve chopped carrots rather itty bitty ones from a bulk package. They serve less carrots and less celery. A shame when you need something to help cool your mouth from the flaming heat of our favorite sauces. Overall, we have seen a commonality amongst BBW restaurants regardless of geographic location, service is slow. Expect long wait times for a server to hit your table. Expect wait times for drinks and drink refills. Wait time for food depends on what you order. Extra crispy wings add a few more minutes usually. We will continue to frequent BBWs to appease the hubby. I'd prefer not to but I'll always do it for him.

Seating area has realistic sized tables that not right on top of each other, check. Still charging for ranch or blue cheese with wings, so boo hiss on that. I will say they should call this place Wings and More because the other food they serve is actually pretty good too, and the prices are pretty reasonable (well reasonable by today's standards). Employees are all really helpful and friendly here, and make it nicer to be here. Thank you, BWW for making this better. Just please quit gouging us for blue cheese and ranch.

I was in Spokane for a conference and stumbled upon Wooden City because it is on the Spokane "where…read moreto eat list". A deeper dive showed a good possibility of gluten free options, so I made the reservation. I was in town on a Monday, just after Hoopfest, but they were the kind of busy where a reservation should always be made I think. My table was ready and I sat in the bar at a high top table. I think I would choose "in the dining room" next time. My server was friendly and quick, as well as knowledgeable about gluten free options. There is even a separate menu that lays out the dishes that are already gf or could be made to be. Love this, always. I ordered the summer salad to start. It was amazing. Flavorful. Fresh. The mint wasn't overpowering, the watermelon was the perfect ripeness. It was so good. I would try to recreate it but it was done so well, and I know I couldn't hit that dressing in the same way. Get it while you can. For my main, I had ordered the scallops in my brain before I even arrived. The risotto was a little soupy, but the flavor was SO good. The corn came through and it went so well with the scallops. The tomatoes were quite over salted, but as long as I didn't eat them alone, it was alright. The scallops were perfectly cooked and I felt like the portion was appropriately sized for the dish, even though there were only 4. My server really made the experience enjoyable. The atmosphere was busy but the booths looked like they could be cozy. The prices were on the higher end. But for a special occasion, it was worth it. I really wished I'd had room for dessert. I will surely go back the next time I am in town.

First off, I was looking for an authentic Napoli style pizza. Like a fresh red sauce from crushed tomatoes and a beautiful chewy, pillowy, yet charred crust. The verdict: Wooden City is the winner! The crust is really really good! The sauce is a bright beautiful tomato sauce that looks like crushed tomatoes however, the sauce was lacking flavor:( I would give this pizza a 3 out of 5. The crust is a 4 1/2 star but the sauce lacking in flavor..brought it down to a 3. Cute place, very pleasant friendly staff..way friendlier vibe than Barrelhouse. The boys are easy on the eyes for younger girls on the hunt! Lmao Don't bother with the Margherita pizza at Barrelhouse. Thank God I only paid $12 for the Margherita Monday deal of half off! The crust was horrible! Dominos has better crust! Costco pizza's had a better crust! The sauce has flavor, very garlicky like fresh garlicky but more of a paste with a load of oregano in it. The cheese didn't have that fresh taste I was hoping for. However, they are known for their Detroit pizza's which I haven't tried but if it's the same sauce, I would pass. Not saying it's bad but it's just not MY cup of tea whether it's for a Detroit style or any pizza. Now you don't have to guess which place has a better Margherita pizza. I wouldn't even pay $12 at Barrelhouse for a marg. Would I come back, yes, if I were in my 20's.. lol but since I'm older and the food is more important to me...no...:/ But hey, maybe their other pizza's are better! I can see a salty pepperoni being good!

I tried the night before and the morning of and the correct menu would not come up. Breakfast food or not showing the lighter lunch specials. I called in and placed the order directly with them. This was great for them to do. I ordered the mini western burger and my wife and her mom ordered the mini fish and chips. My burger did not taste like it had any bbq sauce on it. Luckily I ordered a side of bbq so I was able to support the lack of sauce on the burger. The buns didn't taste toasted. It was good otherwise. The mini fish and chips were good but fries are hard with a to-go order and so they were very soggy. My M-in-L was happy so that's all that mattered. Kudos to the staff for having our food ready when we arrived.

The mall location has tight seating, and honestly the outdoor seating in warmer weather is the best option. We've eaten here several times; the service is friendly and talkative, and the food is decent. Their adult drinks, like the icy drops, are delicious if you're into fruitier drinks. I esp enjoy their salads, with the Mediterranean Salad being my current favorite. The restaurant appears to be mostly clean, but the tables (unless you're in a booth) are very small, and the seating is snug. With four kids, we wish the seating were a bit more comfortable.

I had heard about this place from a friend, who is originally from the south, so when he was raving about it, I figured it was good. The place is a vibey dive. It has some cool art on the wall that is meant to do just that. They care much less about what you think of the place and way more about how good the food is! The gentlemen who run the place do a really nice job and got our food out to us really quick. They have tons of different options, including some really good hush puppies, some next level chicken and some really good pie desserts. Get there early because, as we found, they do run out of some of the pies. The chicken is masterful! From our time in the south, we learned that you shouldn't have to put anything on your chicken. Here....you don't have to put anything on the chicken! It's juicy, salty, southern chicken at its best. Paired with hush puppies and some fries, this makes you want more and want it now. The ribs were another must have. They were absolutely delicious! Falling off the bone and saucy to boot! Go here. Go early. Go chicken!

The place is super small and cozy, with that comforting local feeling right when you walk in. I had the ribs and chicken tenders, and fries. The ribs were just... ridiculously good, especially for the price. Probably some of the cheapest I've had in Spokane, but still incredibly tender, juicy, and full of flavors. Chicken tenders were also amazing, crispy outside, juicy inside, and perfectly seasoned. Even the fries were addictive. I kept eating more even after I was already full. I really wanted to try more of the menu but just couldn't have another bite because I was too full. Definitely one of those places I'd happily come back to every time I'm in town.

We ordered the Vegetable Delight (stir-fry), Chicken Ho Fen, and Popcorn Chicken. Everything was delicious, and there was more than enough food to feed three people. For drinks, we got the Strawberry Matcha (without the foam), Oolong Black Tea with Sea Salt Foam, and Okinawa Milk Tea. Even after choosing "less sugar," the drinks were still a bit too sweet for my taste. The boba was also a little too cold and firm, which is why I'm docking one star. Next time, I'd probably order them with no sugar and give the boba another try. Overall, I really enjoyed dining here and would definitely come back!
