Last time ever going to any of theses places owned by these people (Wing Daddy's & Toro Burger). Party of 6, two hours before closing and we were the only ones there (for a reason). Waiters/Waitresses just walking by, no one even bats an eye or offers water. We waited for 30 min and all this while almost all the employees where next to the kitchen window gossiping and staring at us. After that we just left and went to Cafe Italia up front, don't waste your money here, burgers might be good at times but the service is s**t. SO STINKING DELICIOUS. Our server and the staff were super nice and helpful. We ordered the toro tots to start with. They were so good we couldn't wait to take a picture before we ate. Then we ordered 3 burgers and the Buffalo Mac & cheese chicken sandwich. Zero complaints. We finished off our meal with the churros that came with either Nutella or a bourbon butter honey. We decided to pay a little extra to get both. Our favorite was the bourbon butter honey but Nutella is always tasty. The churros were perfectly crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. 10/10 recommend eating here. It makes sense why they're rated #4 best burger in TX. They earned it!! read more

So, my husband and I were on our way home to Phoenix and we stopped in on recommendation from a friend of ours. I'll start out with there were only 2 other tables seated in the whole restaurant, and nothing too much going on. We were greeted by our server, who was nice enough, but didn't really know much about how to describe the food. We had a question about a specific BBQ sauce on the menu and were offered a kind of unsure answer and were told that it was just a sweet bbq sauce. I've worked in quite a few restaurants, and the first thing you should do as a server is know what is in EVERYTHING on the menu. We still wound up getting the El Grand Matador Burger and the S.O.B. Burger. We also got garlic fries, avocado fries, and truffle parmesean fries. The burgers were great... the sides on the other hand lacked a lot. The garlic fries were plain ole fries sprinkled with garlic salt... not cool when I have to pay extra for the fries (all sides are a la carte, not included with the burgers). The parmesean truffle fries barely had any flavor, zero salt and a teeny tiny bit of parmesean on top. The avocado fries should not have been called that. They're quartered avocados that are fried and served with a mystery sauce. They had ZERO seasoning on them... Actually, I found one at the bottom that had some nice flaky salt on it, but only one. I would go back for the burgers, but definitely skipping the sides next time. read more

Yet another time where I wish Yelp! would have the half star option. I ordered food here for delivery to the other side of the mountain. The delivery time was reasonable. Less than an hour to get food ready and get the food over to me is pretty darn quick. Thicc chonk boi was hongry, so she over ordered. No surprises there, Happy New Year to me. I ordered... Avocado fries, loaded tots, toreado Mac and cheese and a portabella burger with salt and vinegar fries. Fortunately, I managed to save some for breakfast and lunch the next day. Everything was decent, but there were a few missteps on each item to prevent the 4th and potentially 5th stars. Burger was decent, but the bottom bun turned to mush (sounds like a good weekend) by the time I got it. It was also one of those burgers where one bite and the whole thing falls apart. The side of fries were disappointing though. For salt and vinegar, they were lacking in both. No tang, little salt, no upgrade price from me next time. The avo fries were good, fatty food fried to make it fattier (we're twinning now). However, it needed a dipping sauce to cut the fat and give a different level of flavor. Again, not bad, but tweak could def enhance the food. The loaded tots were yummy. Didn't get the heat from the cheese until i reheated the next day. I just wish they would've removed the burnt fryer fries that get left in the oil from a prior customer. Small things, y'all. My favorite thing was something i don't normally go for. Mac and Cheese. Toreado mac and cheese to be specific. My niece said it was good, and she was definitely right. Creamy, with a little bit of heat. Sunk right to the bottom of my stomach. Probably why I couldn't finish the light meal in one sitting. The jalapeños in those were negligible, I kept poking around to find more. They could easily double or triple the amount and still not use 1 whole jalapeño. Overall, decent meal, and I would probably go again. Food is great -- top notch. However, I went in today and the menu prices listed are not what was charged on my bill. Each item was approximately $0.60 more than the listed menu prices. When I brought this up he said it was "due to inflation -- didn't anyone mention this to you when you came in?" Of course no one did. You don't list one price on the menu and then spring higher prices on the receipt once the food is already in your belly. Was more than willing to pay the price of the "inflated" bill plus a 20+% tip before I noted the "bait and switch". Waiter didn't offer to adjust the price to the listed menu price -- didn't want to cause a scene, waste time asking to speak to the manager, etc. so unfortunately the server paid the price in the form of his no tip. I sure hope this pricing isn't official ToroBurger "policy" (wink... wink) if you know what I mean. Hopefully, they will print new menus with the correct pricing, use electronic menus/internets and not disrespect their customers because they have good food. read more

This location needs a lot of help. We have visited twice. Maybe lack of leadership, maybe lack of good management or a combination of both. Both visits, orders not brought out together. Each of my family got their order total different times spread out over 18 minutes. My wife was last to get hers, when her order came she asked for a to-go box and and all we got was two thumbs up and we didnt see the box. Whole meal we had to go get our own napkins, silverwear, etc. Both beers were served spilling. Fried pickle app was burnt to a crisp, black, not edible. Server didnt even ask or notice. On New Years Eve,we decided to stop by for a beer and an order of fries. We were pleasantly surprised that the menu had vegetarian options. I took my brother and mother out to dinner at Toros tonight. Food was great. Unfortunately, our server couldn't have cared less about our presence. Austin, blond girl, directed us to a high top.
