They have excellent burgers and on Wednesday you can get a Toro Burger for $5.00 which is a great deal its juicy, cooked to order on a soft brioche bun with lettuce, tomato, avocado, with a spicy toro spread, and pepper jack cheese which could be substituted for a different kind. If you choose. Its worth the money you will love it. I enjoy there Specials which are Monday through Wednesday. Today my onion rings were burnt and smelled smoky I spoke with Sophie the waitress I was advised they can re-make my order but I didn't have to wait and so I requested a refund. Sophie had advised me that NO REFUNDS ARE GIVEN, I'm confused? I was told That it messes up there register, and employee's numbers which also affects their inventory. I ask to see Toros store policy that states food can't be returned and No refunds allowed. Which according to employees doesn't even exist. So Lets say your unhappy with your order, or paid for an item you didn't buy or what if you were over charged??? I can't get my money back? WHAT???? THATS NUTs No where is there policy clearly posted in the restaurant, its not even on there website. I ask if I can pay the difference and get something else Sophie says no but does it anyways. David the cook comes out the kitchen says sorry about my order. His Reason was THE OIL IS OLD & DIRTY! WHAT? REALLY? WOW!!! Im so confused? I got my replacement order and David the employee says its OK you don't have to pay its "FREE" I'm like WHAT, WAIT A MINUTE... ITS FREE HOW IF I ALREADY PAID FOR IT. UPDATE: went in again and had to give another star, the peach lemonade cocktail was soooooo good! Our server was an absolute delight and this time I did the build your own burger option which I think is a better idea than going with their menu options. I def recommend getting a fried egg on your burger. Garlic fries were good and their ranch is the bomb! Well def be back! I went to Toro Burger Bar without any sort of expectation other than trying out a non-chain burger. The atmosphere is trendy but casual, with dominant red lighting and seating a bit too close to adjacent diners for my taste. A very comprehensive menu followed with the star items (burgers) prominently showcased. I immediately paid attention to the Blue Burger and promptly ordered one, cooked medium well with a side order or sweet potato fries. Wait time was acceptable, and to say the burger quality met my expectations is an understatement. The meat was dripping with flavor and juices, with several sharp bites of pungent blue cheese and braised red onions imparting both texture and deep, contrasting richness. The brioche bun provides the right amount of support for all the juiciness of the beef and rest of ingredients without going soggy or falling apart like in many other restaurants. The sweet potato fries were superbly seasoned, and the side of ranch dressing provided a cool, creamy dimension to the overall meaty experience. I have since visited Toro Burger Bar twice and sadly, I have ordered the same thing over and over, trying to prolong the experience of a very intensely flavored and structured burger. I plan on visiting this restaurant in the future and sampling other burger versions as well as other sides. Started out strong, but we were happy to bid farewell. Apps were good (wings, Toro Fries, fried mushroom, except the avocado fries, which tasted over ripe--could be from the frying process). We had a few different burgers, which looked amazing, but the flavors were underwhelming/bland. Might also be location, the Zaragoza location was tastier. The service was super slow, but in my boredom waiting for the check I saw 2 kitchen staff without mask/mask under chin. Even if you're vaccinated they could still spread the virus more easily across many people, so that was awful after having finished our meal. One of the rudest establishments I have been to in El Paso. In restaurant service is slow and not sociable. I tried to call in an order and ordered a shake and was told they didn't have it anymore. I mentioned that they should take it off the menu, the person on the other end of the line hung up on me and would not answer when i attempted to call back. This Toro Burger is one of my favorites spots for lunch! Especially with the Wednesday $5 Toro Burger deal. I always get their Toro Burger with the veggie patty, my coworkers get normal meat things, and we are all very happy with our food when it does eventually come out, which always feels like it just at about the start of the next millennium. Service is SLOW. I picture the guy making the burgers in the kitchen one at a time and watching his creation sizzle. Once that one patty is done, then and only then, will he add another patty to the cook surface. Might just be my imagination getting away from me. Anyway, I can totally put up with slow service for good food. The staff is always friendly even when they are in the weeds, which is pretty much anywhere between 11a and 1p. Speaking strictly of the veggie patty: it is one of the best veggie burgers I have ever had. They say it is made entirely in house, and I believe that. It is moist, it has an amazing texture, and it is effing delicious! I rate it right up there with the Beyond Meat Burger which I love. Any of the burgers are worthwhile, there's a flavor for every particular taste. Even the side dishes & various fries can accommodate comprehensive pallets. The service is great, though the servers seem constantly busy, always moving back & forth. They can explain the menu in-detail and are attentive to details. What I would change is the music. Holy cow, you will literally hear the entire catalog of 1990s angry-feminist music. Our waiter was so sweet (Ray) and made us Bloody Mary's (his first ever, he did a great job!!). This place will always be in the top places of restaurants. Great tipsy burgers, and sweet potato fries with their Toro sauce. I constantly recommend this place to friends, and they all rave about it after they go. I've been back a few times and request Ray as my server, by far the best server I've ever met. Very personal and such a sweetheart. His presence adds to the overall experience. Last night my boyfriend and I were looking for a sit down place to eat at 10:30 pm that was local and still open. We were happy to see Toro Burger was open till 12AM on Saturday! When we got there, there was only about 7 guests dining in. I wanted to try their "Boozy Lemonades" but they were out so I opted for their margarita instead. It was super sweet and tasted like it was pure margarita mix. My boyfriend ordered the Moscow mule which was really delicious but underwhelming in size. Our waitress was friendly and helpful with narrowing down what to get. I originally wanted their spinach, artichoke, chicken Mac & cheese but they were also out of that, so I went with the Hangover Mac & Cheese instead and my boyfriend ordered the Toreado Mac & Cheese burger (He was stuck between AAA burger and the one he picked). We also ordered fried mushrooms (not shown) which I think was the best part of the meal. When our food came out everything looked delicious! But once I started eating my loaded Mac it was very bland and disappointing. I was hoping to be able to taste more of the chorizo and enchilada sauce but after giving it a good mix it ended up tasting like really expensive hamburger helper. The tostadas ( apparently made in house) we're really good. They were coated with a hint of Tajín, but after a while I had to add my own salt to the loaded Mac and even then I count get through it. It's strange. I have to be in the mood to eat a burger, otherwise I won't eat it at all. So today was a day, I was in the mood to eat a burger. Haha. I got the Salmon burgee, cousin got the veggie burger, and her husband got the Toro 2.0. He liked his and he finished it in 10 minutes or less. Lol. My cousin enjoyed hers since her burger came with a spicy cranberry sauce. My salmon burger came with a lemon-y tartar sauce. Sooo good. I was glad it came with a sauce, my burger kinda tasted bland... But, I was glad it wasn't super drenched in oil. Thanks Toro! I guess some burgers came with a unique kind of sauce, giving it an extra kick. :) Sweet potato fries were all right. It was topped off with sea salt. This review is for the food or anything . Because i didn't get seated.. I was waiting for a table with my wife.. we didn't get greeted or anything but waiter did see me. Stood for about 5-10 min by the door waiting for a table.. seeing it was my 1st time i was wondering was it self seated or by waiter.. i went to the bar trying to ask but got ignored.i walked up to the waiter finally and ask whats the procedure here.. they finally told me give them a few minutes to clear a table.. i said ok.. during all of this i seen a few tables paying up about to leave.. i was then approached by lady at bar and they told me they are short staffed and no longer taking seats.. even though at-least 3 tables were about to leave and it was only 630pm i said ok and proceeded to leave.. i sat in my car for a sec and seen a family of 6 and then 4 walk in and get seated.. i got back and inside and i seat them getting waited on..i shook my head and left.. i dont know what the deal was but only a few reasons come to mind but either way i left and will will probably not go back again read more

Was excited to try this place! Terrible waste of money. Customer service was also rude. I should have not even placed my order from the get-go because the lady who took my order was rude in tone and told me at one point while I was ordering "Are you in the car? Because the service is shit". Like I'm sorry the connection was bad because I had it on speaker phone as I was ordering from the menu but unprofessional to say that it's "shit", could have commented a little nicer and more professionally. I ordered the Kobe burger. It came with almost no toppings, barely any cheese, and a low-effort squirt of aioli. It was overcooked, I ordered it medium rare, and when I called about it they had the nerve to tell me THREE times "no you ordered medium well" after I corrected them multiple times. I rarely order out due to complicated gastro/esophagus issues but I figured a burger was easy enough to make as long as the meat is soft and isn't too dry, because I simply am unable to swallow dry meat or dry food in general. I had to add a ton of mayo to be able to swallow any of it. It lacked flavor, cheese. It was just a sad gross dry flavorless $14 burger. (And no fries included for that price). At one point I was offered a remake; I did not decline this offer but I did tell them I'd prefer a refund. They offered again to remake and I told them I could come back another day. They said "ok let me get you the manager". After being tossed around on the phone by numerous employees that kept identifying themselves as "the manager" (and later being told by another employee they are not a manager), called a liar multiple times, I was finally promised a "call back" from the real manager the next day to resolve the issue or possibly remake. So I really enjoyed this place. I came in and the place was packed and kinda loud but the food was great and I would like to go back again and try other offering from their menu. Tonight I had the fiery green chili burger and although it was packed with a lot of fried toppings it was delicious. They also had an excellent beer menu. Lots of craft beers to chose from especially local ones and your typical mainstream beer like bud light or dogfish head. However their beer menu was not up to date with what they had on tap. I ended up getting an excellent beer but only because I sat at the bar right in front of the taps and asked the bartender what it was. What a total disaster of a trip. The restaurant was not very busy we were seated right away. We had a party of four. Our waitress came right away and brought us waters. It took a while for our waitress to come back, I asked to taste the pecan Porter by the time she brought it out it was warm. She had still not taking our dinner order. She finally came back to take our order we all ordered burgers few of us ordered some cheese fries. We waited about 40 minutes for our food. Well sitting there one of my friends noticed a large to go order being placed on top of the counter. 8 to 10 burger boxes it seems. Another 10 minutes later our waitress came and asked us how our food was. She then realized we never even received our food. She didn't went up to the Counter and saw that the cooks decided to put our food in to go boxes. There we could see that she started to direct the cooks to take the boxed food out of the boxes that have been sitting up there for probably 25 to 30 minutes and put them on our plate she then promptly written brought our plates out to us with our cold soggy food. Needless to say we had to return the food and we left immediately. A friend spoke to the manager on the way out explaining what happened and the manager just said oh well basically.
