Chile Verde Burrito and Torta de Carne Asada y Chorizo

Decided to check out this little spot before class one night and it did not disappoint. I was craving a wet burrito and the Chile Verde Burrito with Carne Asada really hit the spot. My boyfriend got the Carne Asada and Chorizo Torta and it was delicious. They gave him a green salsa that was really spicy so it did its job. They have a ton of different options for tortas, burritos, tacos and more! The service was excellent and efficient. I would definitely come back again and recommend. (11/13/2023)

I SHOULDVE READ THE REVIEWS FIRST. $18.60 for a steak and eggs breakfast burrito and a large drink??? That's nuts! Yes I added beans but damn. I take a few bites and no beans. Lol I take it back and she's she asked if I want a new one or put the beans on the side. Lol for what I paid i need a new one. I get the new one, beans...check. Steak...no where to found. Not even worth the hassle of bringing it back to the register and risk my food being tampered with. Any way, insult to injury, it's not even that good. Breakfast was ruined lol

I went to because I wanted to try something new in my area. I figured this place would master the Torta since it's in their name. Once I entered the guests and staff starred at me all weird, maybe I didn't look too Mexican for them. The lobby looked super small and dirty. The staff do no clean after guests eat there (I'm assuming) it's not like they were busy with other others. Once I got the food, I took it home and the taco was very bland, and super tiny. For the price it's not worth it. Also their torta was just ok. The sauce gave it some flavor but that's about it. Other than that I would not go back and buy it again. They don't put enough meat in it. I encourage you to overlook this location. It's not worth coming in and trying it out. Believe me, there's a better one down the street.

En cuestión de comida está bueno. Y es recomendable. Pero creo que no es justo que pidas tostadas ceviche de camarón y te digan. El ceviche de " camarón tien pescado. El cual esperas que sea en su mayoría "camaron" Pero te los dan. 90% pescado. 5% verdura y 5% camarón cuando son de camaron.

Cleanliness: .8/1 The restaurant is pretty clean. The only thing that looked dirty was a recycle bin sitting outside the trash can. The floor looked fine, but an employee came out to sweep it anyways. Customer Service: .6/1 I was greeted warmly by a nice lady, however after I received the food I wasn't acknowledged again. In any other restaurant I wouldn't care too much about this, but we were the only two people in there for about 15 min, next to each other so it was kind of awkward. Also the clover machine that processes cards suggests a tip, but I went up to get my own food and there is no waiter? Taste: .4/1 It wasn't too bad, the TACOS were pretty okay, the tortilla was a little hard for my feel, it might have been old. The meat had alright taste, I had adobada, but it was more like adobada style rather than true adobaba. The TORTA cubana 1 was alright, but the Mayo was overpowering of the taste, and the beans were nearly scraped onto the bread. The milenesa was really tasty though. Overall an okay torta. Accessibility: 1/1 The restaurant is easy to access via streets, and shares parking with 5 other businesses, however the place isn't too busy on a Thursday at 4pm. The tables inside are well spaced, so if I brought my daughter in her stroller I would be able to navigate inside quite well. Value: .3/1 Because of the taste I don't think you are getting a bang for your buck. I paid $16 or so for a 1/2 liter coke, the torta, and two tacos. The portion was big, but I would have been happier with a smaller portion and better taste. I would not return here for tortas or tacos. Although I open to coming back to try something different.

The front person does not speak English, the place unorganized, floor is dirty, tables are dirty, I can't imagine how inside the kitchen is :(. Is my first time in here and very disappointed, even if the food is not bad I won't come back. No service at all.

    Cubana #2 Torta

The absolute worst torta I've ever had. The bread is so soggy, I have to eat it with a fork and knife. I can't even give this a one star. Not sure what all these people are talking about who gave this place a good review. The carnitas has no flavor, the milanesa is all breading, and the ham looks like it came out of a package of Oscar Mayer from the store.

The restaurant itself is small and cozy with a comfortable atmosphere, but seating is limited. It can get busy during peak hours, so waiting is expected. There are also outdoor tables along the street that you can use when the weather is nice. Prices and portion sizes are reasonable, making it a good option for a casual breakfast or brunch. They were out of cold brew during my visit, so I ordered an iced coffee instead, but it was served a bit lukewarm, which was slightly disappointing. The omelet and Cobb salad were both flavorful and well prepared. The staff were friendly and provided good service. Overall, a cozy breakfast spot with solid food and a welcoming atmosphere.

The crepe was definitely my favorite! the combination of fresh strawberries and Nutella was delicious, and it really hit the spot. The service was fast and efficient, and the staff stayed attentive throughout our visit, making sure we had everything we needed. One thing I really loved about this cafe was the atmosphere. There are plenty of seating areas, making it a great place to hang out or catch up with friends. The overall vibe is cozy and inviting, which makes me want to keep coming back.

No welcome or direction to where to order. When we went to order the gentleman attitude surprised me, felt cold and rushed.‍ Then when we went to our table to sit , but the table was dirty and the walls had stains too! The only thing nice from their interior was their paintings. they do have outdoor seatings, so I recommend eating outside. When we asked for hot sauce they brought it to our table but the waitress or owner? Not sure who but left it on top of my silverware instead of the table, then I looked up to see her and she was facing the other direction. She didn't even notice as if she was in a hurry. ... however there was no rush?? There was no line waiting to order or tables filled with people waiting for food. I looked around and the workers were on their phones. Maybe they had a lot of to go orders I'm not sure ‍ 2. The foooood! Ok, I got the Mr.Eggspresso which is an egg sandwich. It was really good, my only complain is the "salad" it came with . This was not a salad ! It was just arugula and pickled onions, my egg sandwich already came with a lot of arugula. I wished they choose a different kind of greens for the salad to have a different flavor. 3. Drinks! I got their strawberry matcha with oat milk. Probably the only thing I would go back for. The balance between the matcha, milk, and strawberry was really nice

The restaurant has plenty of seating and the staff is very welcoming. They also were playing great music here ;)) My partner and I shared a breakfast burrito and the churro waffle. It's not too sweet and comes with banana and whipped cream. Shoutout to our server Kezia she was so attentive and kind :) You should definitely come try this place out!

The unenthused server possessed of a French "ennui", bored-with-life vibe offers coffee (good), doesn't know the waffle of the week (not great), and disappears behind a bus station to check her phone for 20 mins at a time rather than walking the floor to check on tables. No buckwheat on hand for the buckwheat pancake I fancied (it's a bulk staple, so how do you run out?). Ordered the brioche french toast and an omelette. While overpriced (~$19 for the french toast) and delivery 20+ minutes after ordering (industry standard is about 10-12 mins for this dish, less for the omelette), taste was good and almost made up for the blasé service and tardiness. Net-net, this was my fourth and final stop at Early Bird. I might miss the french toast, but they won't miss us.

From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere felt cold and unwelcoming. The ordering process is done at a kiosk in the front, which gives it more of a fast-food vibe than a café. That's fine but even with that setup I would expect some level of hospitality. After our food was brought to the table, no one checked on us, offered drink refills, or asked if we needed anything. When we were ready to leave, we had to get up ourselves to find takeout containers and bags. Good service can make a meal feel special but poor service can have the opposite effect, I don't see myself returning to Cafe Cultura.
