    Chicken teriyaki (partially eaten)
    Erica Z.

Best teriyaki. I thought I didn't like teriyaki before trying this place. Big serving size. Great prices. They give you lots of meat, even the coleslaw is perfectly done (light and refreshing). I like to get extra side of coleslaw. Warning: Take out only restaurant that occasionally closes for a day without updating the google hours. Maybe call before going

If you want teriyaki like it was back in the 90's, this is the place. Big portions, awesome sauce and still affordable. The cabbage is a highlight and I like to mix it up with the meat and rice to give everything a nice sweet and vinegar taste.

You cannot beat this for the price and the owner seems very kind! Called in an order for the first time and he didn't even take my name. I got the teriyaki chicken and chicken veggie stir fry. I really enjoyed my teriyaki chicken as it was a big portion and well seasoned. My only gripe was that the chicken was a little dry even though it was thigh meat. My wife wanted vegetables so I ordered her the chicken veggie stir fry. She said the vegetables were flavorful but chicken seemed a little dry. Overall, I enjoyed my food and would definitely come again for a quick and filling meal!

I got Chicken Stirfry and my husband got Teriyaki Chicken. Surprisingly, the Chicken Stirfry (which had veggies) was $1 more even though there was less protein. I didn't mind though, the vegetables were really nicely cooked and helped balance the plate. My husband got the Teriyaki Chicken as he is more of a meat eater than me. The portions were HUGE and my stirfry only cost $10.99. For that cheap price, the chicken didn't seem as fresh as I would've liked, but again, the portions were huge and overall the flavor was really good. I'd go again and split one tray with someone else. I could only eat half -- the other half is going in the fridge for lunch tomorrow.

    Beef teriyaki. ~$14, 06/22/2024.

Delicious fresh beef teriyaki plus coleslaw. Good portion, the tray was heavy. Comes with one cup of sauce, you can purchase more for $0.30 each. Came out to ~$14, which is pretty good for the amount of food compared to other food prices in the city.

I have been getting take out here for almost 15 years! Jay is amazing! Food never misses! Even though I have moved away an and do not get to dine here as often as I would like Jay still know my order! Always my first place to eat when I get to the area ...and it is still AMAZING! I recommend the salmon, the short ribs, the gyoza! My son loves the chicken katsu!

A solid 4. Definitely would have been a 5 if the beef was actual steak. We've heard about Toshi's for a while now and still haven't made it to the original Mill Creek location, but we will soon! As we happened to be in the Kirkland area, we decided to pop in an hour before closing time. The place was empty, but the crew there were enthusiastic to take our orders nonetheless. :) We went with the Chicken Teriyaki (T1) and the Beef Teriyaki (T4). Each comes with rice and pickled coleslaw. If you've had pickled cabbage and carrots at a Chinese restaurant, this is the same thing, just chopped finely. Hands down the chicken was the winner, with the right smokey flavor from the grill and just enough sweetness and bite. The accompanied sauce was too salty, but you don't need it as the chicken flavor is great on its own. The meat itself was moist and tender. No complaints there. Beef was a bit too chewy for my liking and there was a lot of cartilage in the cuts. Perhaps the short ribs have a better texture, so we might try that next time. At $9.99 though, it was a lot of food, but the $8.99 for the chicken was totally worth it. I imagine that this place gets pretty busy during lunch with Google offices just down the street, so keep that in mind if you're coming during the day. All in all, the food is tasty, it's cheap, portions are generous and the quality and flavor are all there for the price! We'll certainly be back!

Still great food. Generous portions. Dinner prices have possibly risen. Spent about $10 on combo meal of Chicken Katsu and chicken teriyaki. Generous portion of rice and slaw included.

For an appetizer, we got the special which was a four piece crispy rice appetizer. It was pretty good. My husband and son liked them both but one was a little too spicy for me and the other I thought needed a little something more. But overall pretty good. I ordered the Chirashi bowl. The tako (octopus), seared tuna, sake (salmon), hamachi (yellowtail), maguro (tuna), tamago (egg), ikura (salmon roe), ebi (shrimp), hotate (scallop), and superwhite tuna in the chirashi were sliced nice and thick. Some places cut them thin but here the size was perfect. Not too big, not to small. Just right. My husband got the ultimate Bento and my son ordered the Tuna Bento. They both got sushi, tempura and salad in their bento. The tempura was super crispy and the perfect amount of thickness of the batter. My husband and son loved the tempura. Their sushi was really good and the cut of the fish was just the right thickness. This is a family business and the girls serving us we're really nice and checked on us often. I like supporting small family businesses so I definitely will be coming back and recommending this to my friends!

Our server, Brandonlee A was truly a star! He was very friendly and has the entire menu memorized right down to the specific ingredients used in EVERY single dish- yes, even the side dishes! He's a big reason that we had such a wonderful first experience at Noii and I sincerely hope Management takes notice and promotes this guy to become a manager because he clearly is so passionate about his job, cares about the customers he serves and so knowledgeable about the food! That's something very refreshing to see in the service industry. The lunch bento set was wonderful - the sushi upgrade was definitely worth it too IMO, because I'm a huge aburi toro fan. Everything from the beef croquette to the salad with crispy fish skin and ikura was delicious. The food presentation/plating was 10/10 and it was a feast for the eyes too. Even the grilled chicken rice bowl with the onsen egg was so yummy. We also loved the yuzu mixed drinks as well. The birthday dessert with a yuzu jelly topped with meringue and edible flowers added the perfect finishing touch to our meal. The ambience, food and service were all a home run for me. That says a lot because VERY few restaurants are able to achieve the perfect trifecta of all 3. Hopefully they will keep these high standards up! This is now one of our favorite restaurants in Kirkland and we've already told all our friends to come check it out.
