    Tempura Rolls
    Cindy N.

Decent spot for sushi if you're in the East End. The sushi was affordable and quick service. A great variety to choose from in the menu. Sashimi & sushi set: Reasonable quality for what you pay for. Great portion sizes. Black and White Dragon Roll: The rolls are a bit on the larger side (good for portions but difficult to eat). Tasted delicious despite it being a bit hard to eat because of the large roll. Tempura Roll: This came complimentary with the meal. The tempura exterior was a unique change from the usual sushi roll. Really liked the roll but also again same issue with being a bit hard to eat because the rolls were large to eat. Overall, I had a good experience at Toto Sushi. The staff were friendly and quick service to pickup.

It's hard finding a go-to spot for sushi in the east end... Ordered the sushi and chicken gyoza which was delivered within the lunch hour. It came with miso soup and salad. The salad wasn't that fresh, found some wilted leaves in it. The presentation was also questionable, with brown pieces of lime decorated around the sushi. What I did appreciate was the sushi to rice ratio - big piece of fish, smaller ball of rice! The chicken gyoza tasted average. For the price I paid, I was expecting higher quality, so it is disappointing Toto won't be my go-to spot. On to the next sushi shop.

New fav sushi place! Loved the ambience in here, it felt high-end and intimate, without the multiple price tags. Sushi was so aesthetically pleasing, we also ordered the sake in a box which was $9 for 2.5 shots - a steal! I visited with my boyfriend and we ordered a rainbow roll, salmon lovers, and the albacore tuna torched roll. He also ordered a donburi. We really liked this place and it's definitely a hidden gem in the east end. Highly recommend!

Bang for its buck. Super cheap and delicious. I don't get out to the east end much but very happy I stumbled upon this place. I ordered 2 rolls and could only finish half. The rolls are huge. I got the Salmon avocado roll, the salmon was very fresh and the avocados were perfectly ripe. I also got The spicy salmon roll and it was delicious, very good taste. They also gave a discount and two fried sesame balls. It only took about 5 mins too! Can't wait to come back. Yum! Great customer service as well.

Teriyaki Chicken w/White Rice, side salad, and Miso for me. Gyoza too. Yummmmy

My son placed an online order for Toto sushi, which is right around the corner from his apartment They got the big tray of sushi and I got chicken teriyaki with white rice, miso soup, and we shared some Gyoza which those were delicious. My chicken teriyaki was very very good. Once I dump the white rice all over it, it was even better having that all mixed together. I did not like the miso it tasted, I don't really know ,just not good. The edamame was fine, but we got two free containers of with our order. I can't really speak about the sushi because I won't touch the stuff, but going by what my boys said, most of it was good. Some of it was a little bad, and they had to throw it out. I want sun almost threw up when I took a piece of something, but maybe it was because it was late and the fish was sitting around too long. So give this place a try if you're in Toronto, Canada and let us know what you think. Definitely get the Gyoza !!!

    Tarantula roll with purple rice.

We got the avocado salad, mixed tempura and Tarantula Roll. Salad was ok. The tempura was too oily, thickly coated and NO crunch. Quite soggy. Don't go here if it's tempura you crave! The tarantula roll was nice, though slightly bland, the aioli making it greasy instead of adding a brightness to the dish which was needed. The purple rice was a nice change from the usual white and the roll was filling as a meal in itself. The crab was real and fresh. Ok but not mind blowing.

Recently ordered take-out from Toto. My expectations were already high having heard from a couple of different sources that this was a great place. I was still very pleasantly surprised when the order arrived - great value and quality and quantity We had the lion king (yum!), miso (usually i don't even bother with the ubiquitous miso soup - but this was lovely - i might order it as a stand alone next time) yum, octopus, leslieville roll - all excellent

Roll Combo A. Plus they added something extra for me

I love this place! There's so many good things to say about it! Happy that it is nearby in the neighbourhood. Just went in today to get the Roll Combo A (6 Cali rolls + 6 spicy salmon rolls + soup + salad). Everything was delicious! I really enjoyed the Miso soup, the salad was good, and the rolls were tasty (really good spicy mayo sauce!) A very nice surprise on top this, was they also included something extra that I did not even order! It was some kind of potato hash brown pancake. I don't think I even saw it on the menu, so I'm still not sure what it was, but it was a very delicious! Thanks! And I'll be back again soon!

Feeling peckish so we ordered something "small" to feed into our craving. It's a generous amount. Very nicely displayed. It was enough for two people. I asked for separate packaging and they did just that for us. Definitely will order again. Thanks Toto!!

Bob Marley sushi. Giant. Not elegant. Like a giant chunk of sugar in your face.

Awful. Terrible customer service. Distasteful food that doesn't reflect or honour Japanese cuisine. If you call to ask why something is unpalatable (e.g. avoid the "Bob Marley" sushi roll at all costs) the manager will tell you why you are wrong and how other people like it. Other sushi places are better investments.

With my go to spot for sushi delivery not showing any signs of revival. This might fill the void for now. 3.5 stars

There were three add-ons (toro with caviar $25, uni with caviar $35, and caviar sushi). I opted in for the toro and uni add-ons. It was strange they give you the add-ons before any other nigiri. Everything was very good and fresh. Standouts for me was the appetizer, all three cuts of bluefin tuna, the lobster (by far my favorite), and the hotaru ika. I would've appreciated knowing that the omakase included or not included toro and uni before I decided on the add-ons but I don't regret it. It was a splurge night after all. Service was very attentive. Note that the dining space is very small. 12 seats around the counter and two tables. There was a very loud gentleman two seats from me who never learned to use his inside voice and totally ruined vibe. But that's not on the staff. Another note is that gratuity is automatic on the bill.

The sushi courses were served afterwards followed by some desserts. They also gave us an extra dessert for the birthday celebrant. Each dish was really thoughtful and tasty, and the fish was really fresh. The highlight was definitely the A5 Wagyu beef course. The beef was so buttery and melted in my mouth. They even explained the quality of the beef and showed us a certificate of the beef's grading. It was worth the splurge for a special occasion!
