I have now been here 3 times and feel a review is much overdue. The services I've tried are: Couples massage (60min swedish) with added on CBD oil, hot stones and lavender foot wrap. Couples Infrared sauna for 30min Full body detox and destress (dry brushing, Swedish massage, CBD oil, and foot wrap) The couples massage was excellent. I love that you can book the couples lounge for 30min before your treatment. It really helps you get into the mood for relaxation. They offer hot teas, infused cold water and little snacks such as nuts, chocolate covered raisins and granola bars in the waiting area. There's a variety of reading material such as books on essential oils, traveling and, my personal favorite, Cats on Catnip I had Samy as my massage therapist for the couples massage and I really appreciated how he would check in during my massage. He would ask me if the pressure was okay when he would move to different areas making sure I got the most out of my experience. I really enjoyed the massage, pressure and his demeanor so I have always booked with him since. I cannot obviously comment on anyone else for this reason. The infrared sauna was excellent. I love that they gave us chilled towels and a glass of cold water before going in. There were a couple times we stepped out to wipe our face and drink water and it made the experience feel even better. I love that you have use of a private bathroom with a shower right after in the same room. When I came in for my own massage with the Full body detox and destress I was nervous. I tend to not say much when I'm receiving services (even when I sit in a salon chair for 5 hours) so I wasn't sure how it would go. Samy again checked in with me during my massage which made me make the most of the experience. I tend to not ask for things like focusing on a particular area or if I want more pressure so I appreciate him opening that conversation. I plan to try one of their facial services soon and will write a new review. I'm always hesitant of facials at spas since I worked at a dermatology office for over 10 years. I am very much looking forward to seeing how things go and am sure I won't be disappointed. I definitely 100% recommended coming here. Self care is important. I was satisfied with my experience here. Upon arrival, the receptionist was very nice and kind. My masseuse, Uriel, was very approachable and attentive. He asked me about the pressure, what areas I would like to focus on, and asked me if I would prefer the oil to be wiped off after the massage or leave it on. In this case, I opted for CBD oil and he recommended that I leave it on for additional benefits and to get my $$$ worth, which I totally appreciate. (A) Ambiance - CLEAN!!!!! soothing, good music, massage table was warm and they have an air purifier running in the room. Also, the waiting area had a nice spread of water, snacks, teas, books, and a gratitude journal. I like the fact that they take pride in their waiting areas because it was dust-free with no specks of dust. (B) Massage - The massage was thorough. I asked for FIRM pressure and Uriel delivered on the most important areas. He wrung me out with firm pressure like a used paper towel while keeping me intact. I truly appreciated it. He did check in with me about pressure. For the upper torso, he totally inflicted wonderful pain that made me generate happy/sexy noises. SORRY, Uriel, but you were awesome. On the lower body, he dialed it down a bit, probably because I'm not super meaty down there, but I'll tell him to dial it up next time. THERE WILL BE A NEXT TIME. (C) Pricing - it's pretty reasonable. Is it cheap? NO.... I don't want a cheap massage where they are just phoning it in. The masseuse was super thorough when I told him to focus on my backside. In fact, I didn't know I had that many nooks and crannies until he kneaded me like an embittered, stubborn sourdough that won't proof correctly. After my massage, Uriel offered me water. I paid and gave cash as a tip. The receptionist was super nice. She reminded me that I was free to take my time in the waiting area or quiet room and to utilize any snacks or water/teas they have before I leave. The most amazing spa experience!! As a person with a bigger body and as a neurodivergent, choosing where to get a massage/facial can be intimidating. However, I won't have to look again because Touch to Heal Spa knocked it out of the park. Stephanie did an amazing job on the dry brush + massage. When my hips flinched (not because of her but just a reflex), she made sure I was okay, the pressure was good, and adjusted. My body was finally able to relax for the first time in a long time. My skin feels so smooth and I feel brand new! Any tension I had left the building! Carolina did a great facial! She checked my skin to see about any problem areas I might have. I went here for prenatal massage; the bed width is very small- so with me laying on the side and the big body pillow, there was hardly any space left so I constantly was worried about falling off the bed. The fear of falling made my shoulders tight. So overall wasn't able to relax. Plus there wasn't much message time on legs- thighs or calves or feet- so again not that great of an experience. The pressure was right. The shower facility was helpful, though the slippers provided are very slippery for a pregnant lady to wear. Ambience was good, snacks and tea appreciated. I wasn't planning on leaving a review as the facial itself yielded decent results, but after the manager of the shop left my message on "read" when I clearly outlined some unpleasant experiences (after she asked), it really demonstrated the actual care and compassion management has for their customers here. I see management replies to public reviews, to keep up appearances for other potential patrons, but when no ones looking they don't care - see image. As another reviewer complained they ask very loudly in front of everyone how much you want to tip and when I said 20 dollars she said "20 dollars or 20 percent?" This was my first time at Touch To Heal Spa. I chose the Tropical Escape because it was a 90 minute package that, most importantly, included a body scrub which I do on occasion when focusing on relaxation. Most spas don't offer it and those that do only seem to offer it as a standalone service or they have no frills like oils or fragrances with the combo scrub + massage. The Tropical Escape package was so much more because it includes a Swedish massage with oil and they wrap your hands and feet in hot towels before massaging them. To top it off it includes a facial. (I'm a typical guy and don't take very good care of my face so this is a rare treat.) Sam T was my massouse. She is very communicative both before and during the massage to check in with you. I''ve had head to toe massages many times, even internationally for far more money, but nowhere have I experienced the level of total relaxation! When it was over I almost asked if I could just lay there for a few extra minutes - but I know they need to prepare the room for the next client. Last comment is about getting your money's worth. I was brought back a couple minutes before my appointment so it could start on time and when I got up to change at the end, it was 1 minute past my 90 minutes. My facial required significant modifications and it was perfect. My husband who had never had a facial before is significantly impressed by the concept. I came here for a birthday treat months ago and got one of their signature treatments: DETOX & DE-STRESS. I called in and asked about their shower beforehand I was instructed by the friendly and professional receptionist that when booking, write that in the notes section. The day of treatment, the business was easy to find. I wasn't expecting there to be no designated parking so I ended up parking on Rincon Ave which has plenty of street parking! The shower room was clean, spacious and bright and reminded me of the type of bathroom in nice hotels. You get a basket to put your items in. Once the shower is complete, the front desk receptionist met me promptly to usher me to their waiting area. It was so cute, bright and quiet :) The waiting room had refreshments: fruit infused water, energy bars and fruit. They also had 2 very plush seats to relax and decompress right before the treatment. My favorite part is the waiting area has a notebook to write what your grateful for :) The treatment started promptly that started with a dry brush and one of the most RELAXING massages I've had in a long time!! My masseuse (Tina!) gave the most relaxing yet therapeutic massages every by using pressure points and stretching which are eastern massage techniques. After the massage, I definitely felt de-stressed!! I can't say what part of the service was my favorite. Whether if it's the shower, waiting room or the treatment itself. I definitely will return!
