Came in on a Saturday morning and it was pretty busy. I quickly grabbed a tray and a pair of tongs. Some of the items did not have descriptions and some that did, we're not matched up to the correct name card. For example, I got a blueberry cheese pastry but it ended up being just cream cheese. I liked everything that I got. The standouts were the chestnut bread, sweet potato with mochi, strawberry cream croissant, milk bread, and matcha red bean O bread. The bread is so soft and fluffy and had a good ratio of bread to filling. Not too sweet. They included a free mug with my purchase. How nice! read more

Finally stopped into Tous Les Jours during an H-Mart grocery shop, and I was craving some kind of baked good. It's a small shop, and I left with a fews things I can comment on: - Sweet rice donut (ball) - like a regular donut, but shaped (and sized) like a baseball. My, this was filling. I am pretty sure the filling was all mochi, which is what made it so awesome. It's also what made me go to the gym as soon as I got home. - Custard bun - pretty average, like other asian custard buns - Garlic bread baguettes - I was intrigued with this; they looked like biscotti, and since I was having pasta for dinner (yes, more carbs), I thought it would be a good side. The baguette was surprisingly sweet...like it was almost a HONEY garlic flavour....tasty, yes. But not what I expected, and not the best bread to go with pasta. Overall....a solid A-OK. Pastry itself is pretty good but WORST communication and customer service ever. I was looking for a specific cake and I couldn't find it. So, I called the store and the person said cakes usually get in stock both Monday/Tuesday and Thursday every week around noon. When I was there around that time there wasn't. So I placed an order a cake. When I was talking the employee trying make order she was keep making things so confusing either I can make an order or not. After a long talk trying to make her understand I wanted to order a cake, she finally asked for phone number. While I was writing down, she left without any instructions what I need to write down. I waited but she didn't come back so I left the store. Then she called me back to come again for more informations. Then couple days later, on the day that I'm supposed pick it up, I got a call that they don't have the size I ordered. The person said I should order ahead. I DID!!! Isn't that the whole point of making order?!! I just said it's okay with different size. About an hour after the call, went to store to pick it up and they said IT WASN'T READY! They said they will call between 4-5. So, I came back to my place and waited and there was no call. 5:40pm I called the store why didn't I get any call back? She said the cake was ready and she started to argue whether she is right or wrong about the time which I'm suppose to pick up! I was told it will be ready between noon to early afternoon like 1 or 2 when I was ordering. The person on the phone was saying its another employee's fault and it doesn't matter what that woman said. Well, I don't care whether she is right and the other person who placed my order noon to 2pm is the time I was told and why there wasn't call back!!!!! I TOTALLY DO NOT UNDERSTAND WHY does the customer have care about their own miscommunication problem and argue about it!!!!!! Why is it SO HARD to get just the ONE SINGLE CAKE?! read more

Awesome bread! Have to go early to get the best selection. Customer service has been pretty good when I've visited. I still have yet to be lucky enough to try the garlic loaf with the whipped cream filling, which I've been told is phenomenal. Maybe I've been spoiled by the wonderful bakeries in seattle, but tous les jours is still pretty good with the variety and uniqueness of the pastries. This is a korean chain bakery located inside Bellevue ' s new hmart which is tiny. You go in grab a tray and a tong and pick out what ya like! There were so many things I wanted to try, but i really liked their fried doughnut with red bean inside as well as coffee bun. Their cakes and macarons seemed way over priced however. I asked the lady how much they were and they all ranged from 30 to 50 dollars...for a cake. I'll settle for fruit tarts from safeway! I'll be back if I'm ever in Bellevue but wouldn't travel just to buy pastries from here. read more

So I've always gone to this bakery in the evening time, so their selection is scarce. However, everything I chose was simply fresh and delicious! I was feeling a bit sad that I haven't yet found a good bakery since moving here but my search had just ended! The beads are soft and not overwhelmingly sweet. Everything is so fluffy and tasty. It's a real treat! I felt suspicious about the mammath (sp?). But it looked good. When I got home, I discovered that it was lightly filled with sweet cream and strawberry jam! How delightful! I just found a sweet potato bun and a corn and cream bun, both very good. I feel like I can eat them all day. It can get pricey but well worth it! It's a plus that is in H mart. I've been here a few times since they've opened and only once have I seen them stocked with more items than the small middle area. That's not cause they don't have a lot of selection, it's because they're always sold out! I've been waiting for a good Korean bakery to open up and I'm so happy Tous Les Jours opened! It's really small, but I can get my red bean bun fix here as well as lots of other yummy bakery options. I only wish they were larger and had other items their other locations have. The one I've been too in Virginia is much larger and has other items like lattes, milk teas, and bing soo. I'm not sure if this location plans to have those items at this location (not sure where you'd eat the bing soo) but I would totally get them if they did! read more

I've been here many times. Some items are good, but the service is not. I purchased several pastry items and then went to the counter to ask for 2 blueberry cake slices. The cakes slices are behind the counter and can only be accessed by the employees. The employee dropped one of the blueberry cake slices on the ground as she was pulling it out of the display case. She said that they did not have anymore blueberry slices, so I picked out another flavor of cake slice. The employee who rang up my order charged me for 3 slices, even though they only gave me 2 slices. She put the receipt in the bag instead of handing it to me, so I did not realize that I had been overcharged until I arrived home. I did not want to drive all the way back to ask for a refund, and I'm not sure if they would have understood me if I tried to explain the situation because the staff is not entirely fluent in English (which is fine and usually does not bother me because I have never been in a situation where I had to ask for a refund until this happened). read more

Most of their breads are good. They are best tasting if eaten on the day of purchase or the next day. Otherwise, the bread gets tough. My favorite is the milk bread. I usually get it in the morning because if they usually run out of the yummiest bread by late afternoon. read more

I bought pastries from the Bellevue location before and I like them. Last week I ordered caramel coffee cake which the sales person recommended for having more cake and less cream in it. It was bad.Only a small portion was used and non of our friends like it. I had to put the whole thing in the garbage. They use bad frosting and taste like cheap grocery store cake not a cake that you pay $38 dollars. I tried to reserve the same cake multiple times but this was the only instance that I was able to reserve it. It turned out to a much worse disappointment. Horrible experience!!! The two mandarin speaking women at the cashier provided terrible services. I was going to purchase one of the piggy cakes. They only had two. One was misshaped; the other one the piggy years sank into the cake. I asked them to pull the ears back up. She took it to the back kitchen and asked a lady to do it. That long hair lady was wearing a mask (that's good) but not wearing gloves. She was handling strawberries without wearing gloves!!! I believe she fixed the ears for me but due to hygiene, I really can't buy the cake because she did it without wearing gloves!!! I have bought their buns before and they were good. But recently I went there to get sliced cakes for my daughter's birthday. The sweet potato mousse was terrible. It was stale and flavorless with chunks of hardened sweet potato. When my daughter put the fork in, the whole cake fell apart. The tiramisu was just ok. The cake was good. But the service was not. I went there to get a cake one night. The bakery girl was new so she didn't know what to do with the packing. The experienced staff was on a call and tried to help/stop the girl putting the cake into a box. It end up two people putting a cake into the box in a hurry. So one girl's finger got into my cake and broke the cream surface. That girl was in a shocking face with a creamy finger waiting her boss to say something. But sadly no, no one even mention to change another cake for me.. The bread and pastries are ok. Although they claim to have fresh bake everyday, that may be, but i live close by and i can see at night the same bread and pastries are sold the next day. Also, the customer service is terrible. Mostly they dont smile, and kinda rude. They seem to be unhappy there and treat their customers just like they feel. I really like this bakery. If you want fresh batches, come in the morning! I usually get the mocha cream bread and croissant. It is a on the bit pricey side but if you just only buy a couple of things to have some things to snack on in the morning then it's worth it. They have a bunch of variety there also. Maybe it's the subjective excitement to see this store finally open! Loved this chain from my days living in Korea. I've had better pastries in Europe but it fills a nice void for satisfactory pastries on the Eastside. For the price, it's a good buy. I just don't think you'll find better pastries in this area. It's real convenient to have a "French"/Asian Bakery so close to my job. Delicious bready delights are one of my biggest vices, so I was excited this place opened. My biggest complaint that prevents me from giving a better review would be the fact if you aren't there when they open (which can fluctuate what time - depending on if they have actual food on the shelves/display) you will find a slim variety of choices. This place get's ransacked quickly and the turn around time for food items to be replenished is slow. The croquettes are delicious if you are lucky enough to hit them during a time they have them! read more

There was a fly flying around inside the pastry containers (the one in the middle) and the pastries I DID purchase and eat were not the greatest. The Walnut Cream Baguette was dry and crusty and my child got a piece stuck painfully against his gums. The Croque Monsieur was dry and oily. Even one of my favorites, the red bean bread was unsettling. And the prices? Insane. One dry and cracked and discolored macaroon for $2.25? One slice of cake for $4-$5? I cannot believe how much they charge for their goods. I was almost tempted to take some out from my tray when it totaled to $40. But, I thought they would be tasty. THEY WEREN'T. Extremely disappointed and frustrated. The customer service was bad as well. They shoved the breads into the bag hurriedly and most were squashed as they were handed to me. Don't pre-order anything from them!!! We ordered a blueberry yogurt cake a day before and they didn't have it available somehow (probably sold it to someone else) and said they could make another one later in the day. We trusted them since we have been buying the same cake for weeks and it always tasted perfect (because of the tangy taste of the yogurt). So we went back 4 hours later to pick up the cake and was so looking forward to enjoying it. Turned out it didn't taste anything like a blueberry yogurt cake at all!!! Instead of using the same amount of yogurt, they used cream icing and also between the cake layers. They probably thought their customers could not tell the difference between cream and yogurt!! BIG MISTAKE!!! Instead of being truthful (since they pride themselves in making high quality products), they didn't tell us they did not have enough ingredients (I.e. Yogurt) to make the cake and then charged us $35 for a blueberry CREAM CAKE!!! It's a TOTAL DISAPPOINTMENT!!
