While the pastries are fine, which is why I come back sometimes. I have a hard time with the customer service here. I am not sure if the owner is aware or even cares of how horrible some of the cashiers' attitude is toward the customers. The first time it happened when I had my 3 year old son with me at check out, the cashier automatically added the birthday candle packet to my bill without even letting me know. When I asked, she said because your son broke it. My son did pick the candle up from shelves and I asked him to put it back, which he did before we got to the cashier. the candles were perfectly fine so I showed that to the cashier. I would have bought it if he indeed damaged the candles but he did not and I was not willing to let them bully me into buying by framing my son. It was not about money, but principles. She did not say anything, not sorry or any excuse, and just gave me a pissed off look then took the candles off the bill. Really? Why was she the annoyed one? The second incident happened today with my mom and aunt. They paid and asked for receipt but the cashier gave them a dirty look, picked the receipt from the trash bin, threw it to their faces and had the nerve to tell them "you need to ask for receipt first because nobody asks for receipt here." That is a total bs! Cashiers need to ask customers first if they need receipt before tossing it to the trash. My mom and aunt never experienced such a rude behavior before and they left shocked and speechless. I don't understand why the customer service here is so horrible and some of the women who work here have the need to express such ill-mannered behaviors and attitudes. If you are so unhappy With your job, just quit. read more

I love this place! As soon as you walk into H mart you can see their glass case of delicacies- beautifully decorated cakes, pretty parfaits, macarons, etc. When you enter the bakery, it's like a carb lover's Disneyland!! SO MUCH FRESH BREAD the place smelled incredible. There are loads of loaves, individually packaged buns (red bean, pumpkin, custard, milk bread, plus way way more) and in the middle of the store, there's cases for a variety of pastries (donuts, croissants, fruit tarts, sesame balls, sausage croissants, again, plus much more) and these pastries you have to use a tray and tongs that they provide at the entrance. I ended up getting the coffee kaya bun (I kind of grew up on kaya bread!) and sweet potato mini pie. But trust me, my tummy wanted to buy more but my credit card said no. I kept eyeing the green tea bread, red bean bun, and this cheesy sesame ball thing but the coffee kaya and sweet potato pastries looked the most interesting! Side note: I came in around 3pm and a ton of the pastries/bread/macarons were sold out :( so I grabbed the best of what was left. Coffee Kaya bun: amazing! When I first bit in, I got a deep, earthy taste from the coffee grounds and could taste the sweet jelly from the kaya. Good combo of acidity and sweet! The bread was soft but had a crunchy/crust type deal on the top which added even more texture to it all. Sweet potato pie: My favorite of the two! Croissant was nice and flaky, and the sweet potato puree/filling had a light, natural sweetness to it. Definitely will have to get this again! read more

Watch out when purchasing items at this store! I bought a cake this morning. They did not take from the display window. Instead the Latino looking cashier said something to her colleague and the took a cake from behind the stack. They only show me the top part of the cake from the cartoon box when I got home the cake is smashed on one side and the cream is hard!!! read more

Tous Les Jours is a bakery that's inside of Hmart and the style of their baked goods reflect French/Asian cuisine combined. I bought a honey bun and a custard bun from here and I think it was at least $7 for both of them. I ate the honey bun and it was... interesting? It had mochi inside of the bread that had some honey in it, so it was unique. However, I feel like it was more air than bread haha. In my opinion, it was a bit on the pricy area for an asian bakery. It wouldn't be my go to bakery, but it was a unique experience. Maybe if i'm around i'll try more things. And of course, beware of the tiny parking area. read more

Came to this bakery strictly for their macarons, but left hungry and sad. Macarons were $2.25 and quite underwhelming. Initially the display case looked delicious. Upon close inspection the macarons were cracked... and looked a bit dried out. This is a good Tous Les Jours. Lots of yummy baked options and they were quite fresh. They probably have a lot of turn over due to their location next to the Korean market. I've liked most of the pastries Tous Les Jours produces (quite a few by now). For the most part they are well priced although there are some items that I think are overpriced. Their bread for instance (delicious but $5 for a small loaf of sliced bread is pretty ridiculous). Their macaroons are also expensive. However, I bit the bullet and ordered 6. The quality of these are definitely above average. Flavors were creative and distinct. I don't think I would get them again, but I was glad I tried them. read more

I ordered the fruit cake with chocolate base and it was absolutely delicious. The cake was light, airy and spongy while the cream was not too sweet - just the way I like it. The layers were filled with generous servings of fruit and the cake was beautifully decorated. The cake was a huge hit with our guests and everyone helped themselves to another serving which I believe speaks for the cake. Would definitely recommend them for the light and not overly sweet cakes. read more

I've been waiting and anticipating for an overseas bakery to open up here in the PNW (more selfishly in Bellevue, cause its close to home HALELUJAH!). The atmosphere is so cute! Like you've walked inside a little homey bakery. Though I do believe they should have had a better layout, as there are two entrances, and the pay line can get a bit confusing.. but hey. I'm willing to wait surrounded by temptation (lala). I've only tried a few breads (sweet potato ball, crispy cream cheese bun, and blueberry mousse cheesecake.) I am so enamoured with this bakery. Fuji Bakery is far away in Seattle, and in Bellevue this bakery located in HMart will satisfy my needs for viennoiseries just fine. At first I had the croissants and the pains au chocolat. Then I tried the sesame donut. Then the kimchee and the curry bread. Also loved the croissants and the donuts filled with whipped cream and strawberries!! Yes, such a lovely change for breakfast! But what I totally love is the chestnut pastry/roll. It is a flaky croissant dough, chock full of chestnuts inside. I can hardly get enough! The cakes here are beautifully decorated. They are light and not too sweet. Therefore, we were so happy to see they also have a location in Washington so we got a green tea cream cake for the new year! However its disappointing since the cream was too sweet and then we found a piece of plastic string INSIDE the cream and my husband almost ate it. OH SH*T!! So glad this place opened up in my neighborhood! I remember going to Tous Les Jours almost weekly whenever I was in Seoul! The service is a bit...dismal. But I really like the goodies here so I'm going to forget about that. 3 specific great things about this place. First - they have a lot of unique flavors of French macarons. Really interesting. They're a bit on the expensive side. Over $2.00 each. I think that's even more than what Bakery Nouveau in West Seattle asks for! WTH! But they're good! And adorable of course. (grew up eating kaya in Malaysia) I also grabbed the sweet potato pastry bread as well as the honey pan bun! All of them were SO GOOD. My favorites would have to be the sweet potato and the Coffee Kaya bun! It wasn't too bad too; pricing was about $2.25 each, but I believe the sweet potato was worth a few cents more. Love this new addition to downtown Bellevue! Came here for lunch to check it out and was impressed with the selections that they have. From standard Asian bake goods, to pastries, to european breads. Every looks amazing and I wish I could sample everything. I ended up getting the Kimchi croquet, strawberry croissant, and a strawberry pastry. Kimchi croquet was light and fluffy, the kimchi filling was flavorful and good. Strawberry croissant and pastry was good as well, both very light and flaky. I book birthday cake for friends every year. All of them love cakes I got here. Taste sooo good.

I ordered my anniversary cake for 10 days before my anniversary. I wanted to make sure I could get this strawberry cake. However I tried pick up the cake the crew told me they made a different cake that had the same price. They made excuse that I did not left the phone number. But I did left my phone. I understand there could be mistakes. But I felt they blamed it on me. After I expressed disappointment they tried compensate me with a bead or some candle. Then they told me not buy the cake If I don't like to buy. And the suggested me to buy somewhere else. They charged me for the full price with a candle. What a way to ruin someone anniversary!!! This is a chain from South Korea. I am tempted to give this place 4 stars, but I also need to remember that I kind of love all baked goods and will basically eat anything made of bread....SO yes, I think this place is very yummy, but I think I need to admit that it's not extraordinary or mind-blowing. There are a lot of typical Asian-bakery breads, both savory and sweet, with interesting combinations like pizza garlic bread or cream filled pastries, but I generally really like Asian bakeries for humble and plain pillow-soft loaves of sandwich bread. THIS IS NOT NORMAL SANDWICH BREAD, PEOPLE. Just saying, it's nice to take this bread home and maybe microwave it to rewarm, and then just get some butter, and yummmmm. It rips apart in long strips and is super delicate ^^ Another recommendation would be their sesame rolls filled with rice cake. Not sweet, but super chewy inside and kind of perfect. Other than these plain breads, my recommendations go to getting cakes, because what's not to love about Asian cake?
