Pastries were dry and tasteless. Won't be stopping there again. Maybe it was an off day, but still no excuse for the very below par food.

I went to pick up some pastries on my walk home, so I couldn't get anything that would melt or spoil. I had analysis paralysis bc there were soooo many things. I got four things and it ended up being $16 so that wasn't super, but also I feel like Panera is even more expensive nowadays. The croissants were not bad and I got a regular croquette which had some sort of vegetable mixture inside. I don't like kimchi so ya. I do think I need to try some of the more perishable things and eat there. I feel like I may update this when I grab other things eventually but for now - lots of choices, nothing was mind blowing and nothing was bad read more

Wow. This place is amazing. I had the feta and spinach danish. It was so fresh and delicious. I had the iced caramel macchiato and it was one of the best I have had. The decor is beautiful and the restaurant is super clean. Staff is helpful and friendly. The to go packaging is pristine. Amazing addition to Lyndhurst. read more

As someone from California, where bakeries like Tous Les Jours and Paris Baguette are a little more prevalent, I was extremely happy to see that they opened a location in the Cleveland area. The pastries here never disappoint. The interior of the bakery is super nice, with lots of seating and even a study area. The servers were nice, but they ran out of matcha the day that I was there, and it was a 20 minute wait for the next batch to come out. I will come back next time to try the Matcha lemonade. read more

I like TLJ and have been to several locations in other states (also the one in Columbus). This Lyndhurst location is much smaller compared to other locations. While the cake slices are the same, I felt the sweet and savory pastries aren't full. On our visit, I was disappointed as they were pretty much out of everything even their best seller - strawberry croissants. I usually get the ube or tiramisu iced latte, but chose the matcha latte this time. It was really good and rich. Kudos to the staff who made my latte that day! Overall, I'm happy that TLJ is much closer to me now. I'll definitely visit again when I'm nearby. Hopefully they will have fuller cases then. read more

I've been two times (so far) I really can't describe how good the food is but I'll try. I had the guava danish, the spinach feta danish, and I've been back twice to get the caramel apple pie danish because they're just that great! I'm looking forward to tasting the honey pancake thingy (dk the proper name, lol but I'm going to have it eventually). I love the texture of the desserts, it like a French pastry but lighter, not too sweet, just perfect honestly. I also liked the spinach feta danish, those two never disappoint. read more

Nice service, excellent quality goods, pastries and food good. Owner was very nice, the only small critique I have is some of the staff does not know what's in the items. I asked about the Croquettes and were told they were cheese only to see it was filled with vegetables however it still tasted excellent.. then one of the barista's tried to explain how a 12 ounce drink and 16 ounce drink were the same. I was advising her that I couldn't have as much caffeine and I wouldn't be able to finish a 16 ounce.. I believe she thought price was the issue. I'm not one for waste or getting more than I can handle. She kind of went back-and-forth a little bit which I didn't really like, but it ended up being fine. The most amazing tiramisu latte - literally will dream of this! I also got a bunch (yikes!) of pastries. The Maple Pecan Cream donut...pure magic. Soft, pillowy, amazing. We got croissants, garlic bread, and more. I like that we picked out what we wanted on a tray! Also, the lovely staff made sure to pack savory (garlicky) items separate from sweet items. I love the way this bakery is set up and the selection is vast and always delicious!!! My favorites are the croissants, milk bread, and doughnuts. The sausage croissant is my husband's favorite. Lovely newish bakery in the East side. Good pastries similar in quality to those you might find in France. The almond crusted croissant and green tea cake was outstanding. Their mushroom galette was tasty and not dry. Would recommend you go early and allow some time, as they do have a line everyone I go. read more

This place is VERY unhygienic. I'm going to completely stop coming here. Quite a few times when I've paid with cash, the cashiers have checked me out, returned cashed to me, touched on my food, and the inside of my bag where the food goes without changing their gloves that they just touched money with. This continues to happen. The glass windows are nasty. During these times especially with this style of bakery, hygiene is important. TRAIN YOUR CASHIERS TO CHANGE THEIR GLOVES EVERY TIME THEY TOUCH SOMETHING THAT COULD POTENTIALLY CONTAMINATE A CUSTOMERS FOOD. read more

The interior is lovely and calm. Thoroughly enjoyed the music being played. The display of items is very nice. I had the strawberry/cream croissant with an Americano. Delicious! Very difficult to pass up the other delectable pastries so I got a box worth for later. The staff are friendly. This is day two of their grand opening. It was very busy. Had to stand in line with my tray of yummies for almost ten minutes. I expect it to simmer down after a week or so. The chairs are VERY comfortable. The decor is very appealing. We arrived at the bakery around 1030 on a Saturday morning. The parking lot was full and we easily found a spot on the street. Upon entering, it is very esthetic to the eye however it does not smell like a bakery - there are no smells of freshly baked items. We tried a few items - chocolate croissant, pretzel , mushroom tart and a slice of the mocha cake. All items looked beautiful however the quality was lacking. Not sure items are even made here or just heated. The croissant was probably one of the worst croissants that I have ever had. The mushroom tart and pretzel uncooked and doughy on the inside. Desserts were definitely not made in house and I'm questioning whether some of the baked goods were made in house as well. We bought several different desserts, consisting of Macarons two pieces of cake, strawberry and orange flavor. The only thing I ended up liking out of everything we bought was the little strawberry cake slice. As a macaron connoisseur that I am, I felt their macaron left much to be desired. They tasted as if they were stored in the freezer for months. Very disappointing. As for service it was more of a serve yourself kinda deal which I don't mind. You grab what you want go up the counter and pay easy as that. Ambiance is definitely the highlight for this bakery. Tables and sitting area were nice and clean. Decor was very modern and minimalist, perfect for getting some cute insta pics. Honestly I would just go there to take pics and look trendy lol. Excellent new spot on Mayfield. The pastry is excellent. Please improve the coffee bar. It should not take 30 minutes to get a coffee with milk. With the exception of the coffee issue this place is quite good. read more

I walked in to this place and about seven people saw me, and ignored me. One girl walked right bye, no hello or anything. A girl was filling the shelf right at the cash register and completely ignored me. Three guys were also behind the counter talking and completely ignored me. I've haven't been treated like that in a very long time. When I asked if they were going to acknowledge they all looked at each other and the girl filling the shelf with cookies said, "What can I help you with?" in a tone that wasn't too friendly. I said no thank you and walked out. They need some lessons on customer service! I will not return. read more
