Come early during the day because there will be more choices! I went around 3pm on a Saturday afternoon and the stock still looks full. However, when I went about one hour before business close on a weekday, the shelves are empty. Seats: there are plenty of seats to sit down and enjoy your food. I'm bummed that SLC doesn't have an 85 degrees, but finding Tous les Jours today was such a highlight! I wanted to try everything they had, from the baked goods to the milk bread to their cakes. Everything looked so appealing and the inside of TLJ smelt like a French bakery. I chose a bunch of items to try and ordered a match latte for my husband. We enjoyed the milk bun muffin baked good the best out of everything we picked up, which included a custard bun, the yuzu pastry, a tomato pastry, and the single Madeline cookie. My daughter told be about this place a couple of months ago so I decided to stop today by while running errands. When you walk in, simple instructions to grab a tray, tray liner and a pair of tongs. Many items are prepackaged and there are small case of assorted non-prepackaged pastries that you can choose from. I grabbed me a garlic and ham and cheese pastry, twist donut and a pain au chocolat then ordered an iced caramel macchiato. The staff were exceptionally friendly. The garlic ham and cheese was ok, the pastry had a bit of a sweet taste, like it's the same dough as their sweet pasties and it was a little like it had been slightly overcooked and also sitting out for a while. The twisted donut was super light and fluffy - think it melted in my mouth. The pain au chocolat was a little disappointing, think I've had the same type quality from my Smiths store. My iced caramel macchiato was great. Many times this can either be too sweet or the coffee tastes burnt. But this one was perfect. The ambience is clean, warm, inviting and encourages patrons to sit and relax. Variety of different sitting options from small tables and long wall bench, to comfy couches and a couple of bar length tables and bar stools are the windows. Appreciate the jazz music playing overhead but can still have a good conversation without having to raise your voice. Overall I would probably stop by again when I'm in the area. read more

All I can say is WOW! I'm blown away by this place and I'm sad I didn't know about it sooner. We enjoyed a delicious cloud cake and it was as light and airy as the name. This place filled me with so much joy!! I went to South Korea last year and I loved being able to feel a little slice of a Korean bakery here in Utah! My friends and I got a ton of different things to all share and try and nothing was a miss! I especially loved the curry bread and the strawberry and cream croissant! Beautiful cakes! We had 3 cakes for a house warming! Earl Grey, matcha and mango! All three were delicious and beautiful to look at. We all enjoyed the sweet, tender and fluffy cakes. The concept is really cool (a French bakery!), but the execution is extremely disorganized. I wanted savory pastries; where were they? I found them in at least three different spots in the room. Overall, it's extremely difficult to figure out what they're serving when you walk in IF you're looking for something specific. It works much better if you have no preferences. This was my first time trying this little bakery and it is now my favorite! There are so many choices and everything looks so good! We had the strawberries n cream bread and a chocolate croissant. All display cases are kept very clean, they have tongs to grab the food and restaurant in general was clean. The workers were very helpful with their favorites and helping us choose what to get. There are few things food related the Japanese don't do well. Finding a mediocre restaurant or bakery in Tokyo is near impossible. They do French as well as anything in Paris. This place matches that standard. I fell in love with milk bread in Tokyo and finding it here is not easy. They nail it here. I need nothing else to make this a 5 star place. However, they nail all the pastries we tried. It was pretty full, so we didn't try to eat in, but it's a nice space to eat in. read more

Run, don't walk! The bake goods are very delicate and fancy here. The texture of the cake is very soft and moist. The icing on the cake is more like whipped cream, taste very light and not overly sweet. I'm so excited to see a national bakery chain opened in Utah. The store is spacious. It's a Korean bakery, but besides fun flavors, you almost can't tell it's Korean. When you walk in, grab a tray, a piece of paper, lay the paper on top of the tray, then grab a tong, the rest is between you and all the goodies you pick. I had the Mont Blanc Pastry, it's a light airy square Kouign Amann. Sesame chewy donuts more similar to mochi than the usual donuts. If I have to name one thing to make it sound less perfect, it's the service. They're super nice and friendly, but since it's still fairly new, some of the staffs don't really know the name of the treats, so it might take them a while for them to charge you. read more

The other two pastries we tried were good-- cheese and apple filled, but the apple didn't have much filling so maybe wouldn't do that one again. One of my favorite places for pastures! Their cakes and cream breads are so good, I especially love the taro and milk cream breads because they're so soft. The matcha drink was okay but a bit expensive. The only thing I wouldn't recommend here would be the macarons, they're a bit too sweet and soft in texture. This is SLC's first upscale Asian French bakery and it is the experience. There's beautiful modern seating with plush velvet seats and couches and lots of room for those working to hang for a bit. All the pastries both savory and sweet are delicious and our favorites would be the croquettes, milk bread, cantaloupe milk bread, and the Taro milk bread. I've had almost everything in this bakery and everything is good! I do wish they had nicer bags for the croquettes but I eat it so fast, who cares I suppose. read more

Lovely ambiance here at this bright and clean little joint for the perfect sit down chat with a friend. I visited today with a friend for a cup of tea, and while the hot tea wasn't the best cup we've shared, the lovely setting, variety of pastries/breads/cakes, and ample seating options made us both eager to return. We prefer a good loose leaf tea with a strong aroma and flavor, but the tea doesn't have to be perfect if the setting lends itself to a good heart to heart chat. We look forward to returning to try the coffee options as well as share more pastries when they're most fresh in the morning. Lovely staff, prompt service with a smile, and amazingly clean interior make this well worth a visit. read more

So happy I found this place while visiting Salt Lake City! I was just looking for some good coffee and was pleasantly surprised at the selection of pastries when I walked in the door! This place is amazing! I've only tried a few things on the menu so far but I loved what I got. I tried a tiramisu latte which was delicious but it could be a little less sweet in my opinion (just a personal preference and I wonder if I could order it half sweet next time) I also got the sweet Frank roll which was in the little warming cabinet and I liked it so much, I wished I'd ordered another. And before I left, I grabbed one of their milk breads to go and I literally danced in my chair as I ate it. TO DIE FOR YA'LL! Honestly, the options are a little overwhelming, as we found ourselves running laps with the other patrons just deciding what to try. We settled on the almond croissant and the giant (head size) croissant. They were both flaky and good, but we needed some napkins and ended up wearing half of it. Annyeonghaseyo 2022, may I present to you Tous les Jours! *Insert Chef's Kiss* Right when you walk through the bakery door entrance, you are welcomed with the smell of fresh baked goods. The interior was designed with a modern and upscale feel. When selecting your baked items, be sure to use the provided trays and tongs for health and safety reasons. Don't let those bare hands go touching the baked goodies! I tried out the Croquette, small Tiramisu latte, and Honey Cheese Pancake. Traditional Japanese croquette is crispy on the outside and fried until golden brown. Typically it has a starchy soft mashed potato interior. When you're eating TLJ's version of a croquette, throw all of that existing knowledge out the door (especially if you're a die hard traditional croquette fan). TLJ style croquette is the baby of a pillowy Malasada (without the sugar dusting) and a Japanese croquette. This incredible Frankenstein pastry baby is tasty and uniquely savory with its meaty/mushroom filling. The Tirimisu latte was delicious and satisfying. It complimented well with the sweet and savory honey cheese pancake. This unique pastry was sticky and has a satisfying Mochi-like chew to it. My only wish is for this pastry to be warmed up. I think the warm temperature would really elevate and enhance my appetite for this treat. If I am ever in a pinch to get a birthday or celebration cake, I'm definitely coming here. Location/ vibe: This French-Asian bakery is a must visit! When you walk in the smell is of freshly baked pastries of all kinds! It has a lot of seating if you are looking to study or just hang out with friends and they do offer hot drinks of different kinds to for cold winter days. Quick, efficient service at a checkout counter where you can ring up pastries chosen from the cases, or order items to be made. Everything looks delicious and beautiful. Everything I've ever had was very tasty. Their coffee and mocha have a unique flavor, which is delightful. They only have whole milk for the drinks, no other choices, and no decaf espresso. Seating is comfortable and varied. The cakes look adorable and amazing, but I've yet to try one. The baked goods are a mixture of French and Asian (I believe Korean), so flavors can be found from both cultures, both sweet and savory. Nothing is super "American sweet". I highly recommend this bakery/coffee shop. read more
