This was our first time eating here. Everything was so delicious, the guy who took our order was supper friendly, the ambiance is nice and the food was prepared so fast. Lovely place and would recommend 100% Forgot to mention, they have a home made hot sauce, delicious! Spicy but not overpowering, a little tangy and overall flavorful!

Service is attentive. Food is really good. I ordered an egg salad sandwich today because I was in a hurry and needed something quick. I stopped by Tower Cafe to grab a sandwich because it's close by and I've never been. Menu is mounted high above the counter in colorful boards easy to read. I ordered an egg salad sandwich with pickles on rye bread. They made it to order so you can customize how you want. On top of that, they toast the slice breads so it is crunchy every bite. I was pleasantly surprised and would definitely come back again. Right now, they have an offer of 1 free soda with a sandwich order if you check in on Yelp.

Really good food! The chicken salad sandwich is a bit salty but still really good. My boyfriend got the sausage croissant, it was flavorful!

I've been a regular at Towers Cafe for sometimes, and I've always been impressed with their hot dogs. They use all-beef dogs that are grilled to perfection, and they top them with your choice of mustard, ketchup, relish, onions, and cheese. I like to get mine with everything, and it's always delicious.Hotdogs

Came by for lunch on a Tuesday afternoon. Minor foot traffic with plenty of items to choose from on the menu as well as snacks to go. Owner was amicable and diligent to serve us. Ordered a breakfast burrito and dirty chai latte - nothing special about it but was pretty good. Store was very clean and ambiance was nice with outdoor seating.

My ruben looked and tasted just like a tuna melt, but it was fast, close by, and my tuna melt was pretty good!

The only reason I come here b/c it's next to my office. I would recomend the owner change their choice of breads.

I'm extremely picky about my food, so I honestly expected I probably wouldn't like it. I couldn't have been more wrong. Their Chicken Pesto Sandwich was one of the best sandwiches I've ever had. After that first order, I started visiting the restaurant in person, and that's when I met Nabin, Shekhar, Suraj, and Chetan. Every single one of them is professional, detail-oriented, friendly, caring, and incredibly knowledgeable. They always greet customers with a smile and make you feel genuinely welcome. What really stands out is how much pride they take in their work. They happily customize my Chicken Pesto Sandwich exactly the way I like it, and every time it comes out fresh, delicious, and perfectly made. You can tell they care about quality. They are also very clean and hygienic--they wear gloves and regularly change them while preparing food, which gives me a lot of confidence in their food safety standards. Their customer service is honestly exceptional. It's rare to find a team that is this consistently kind, attentive, and committed to making sure every customer has a great experience. I now live in Menlo Park, and even after the last seven months, I still drive all the way to this San Jose location just to get my favorite sandwich. That's how good it is. Nabin, Shekhar, Suraj, and Chetan are true assets to West Coast Sourdough. They represent exactly what great customer service should look like. Thank you all for consistently making amazing sandwiches and for always treating your customers with such care and professionalism. I highly recommend West Coast Sourdough in San Jose to anyone looking for outstanding food, excellent service, and an experience that keeps you coming back.

The location of the store seems a little far away because it's in the corner by Safeway's gas station off to the side, so I imagine some people miss it. So keep an eye out for it next time you're in the mood for some hot subs. Chris, the owner, was so kind and explained everything to us. He was patient, informative, and professional. It's nice to see owners work at times and treat their customers so genuinely! So thank you, Chris! The store is honestly decorated so well. There's details everywhere on the wall, and it's all dedicated to San Jose culture and first responders. The ambiance felt local and cool. Now for the food, my husband ordered the Build Your Own Sub with Pastrami and it was delicious! I ordered their new and off the menu French Dip sub with aus ju and IT WAS SO GOOD. Highly recommend to get it now while they have it! Special notes: - All subs are served hot! - They have a hot sauce bar with unique sauces all leveled off from (1-10). 1 = mild and 10 = spiciest! Affordability: both of our subs came out to be around $20 for two large subs. Some people may view the prices as pricey, but if you get a large sub it's definitely worth it. Check out the photos for reference (I don't think the photos do the large size justice though because they are HUGE) and give Firehouse Sub a try for yourself!

Thought I'd give it a try. I like sandos....err subs. I placed an order online and picked it up without any issues, just the way it should be. My order was ready and waiting for me when I got there. The venue at the corner of a newer shopping plaza. There is a decent amount of seating inside and outside as well along with plenty of parking around. #Sandos: ~ Hook & Ladder - 3.5/5 The most basic one...I think. Smoked Turkey breast, Honey Ham, and melted Monterey Jack cheese, served with lettuce, tomato, onion, no mayo for me, and deli mustard with a pickle spear on the side. The sub were just okay for me, nothing amazing. ~ Firehouse Steak & Cheese (Large) - 3/5 Looks much better in the brochure. It's fine, tasted OK. Nothing to brag about, don't let the sando sit around. Make sure you finish it all at once or it will get soggy... may be its because of the oil and vinegar dressing I opted for? Not sure... The wheat bread is a tad too sweet for my liking and the white bread is just plain and flavorless. I do wish they provided options like Sourdough or Dutch Crunch, which also happen to be healthier for you. I wanted to complain that they were expensive but then realized that's how it is everywhere now. That food inflation is no joke... I'd stop by if nothing was around. Not so sure I need to try other items on the menu.
