I had a flat tire, unable to be patched, so stopped in right before they closed and asked some questions about my options. Joe was very helpful and set up an appointment for the next day to get me a new tire. He quoted me a very reasonable price. I went in for my appointment and was given a higher price estimate that was immediately fixed when I mentioned my conversation from the night before. There were some concerns communicated to me regarding my tires but Brad was extremely helpful in explaining them to me and working with me (completely understanding I had to call my dad lol) to get the best experience possible. I ended up with a great price and a great understanding of what was done and what would need to be done in the future. I'll be back! read more

Do yourself a favor and do not book any type of tire service with Town Fair Tire in Biddeford. The staff is apparently new and all I've heard since I've sat here and waited are the techs screaming the F word left and right. I came in for a snow tire changeover (mind you the 4 snow tires which are on rims already were in my car). They call my name (2 hours waiting after my appt time which i was early for) and say it's all done. I walk out to my car and the snow tires are still IN my car. I'm a patient person when the service is right and I understand holidays, shortstaffed etc... When I walked back in to tell them that clearly my snows weren't changed over, they argued with me and the tech even came out from the back and argued with management, in front of me, the customer. They said the changeover wasnt on the order. (So i'd just be driving around with 4 tires and rims in my little wagon?) and the invoice showed the changeover and the charge! Then a tech came out to move my car back outback and gave me a dirty look as if I got him in trouble. This is the worst customer service and experience I've ever witnessed. I am now worried my service will be done half ass and should I be concerned about my safety? In the end, I put my husband on the phone with the manager and they ultimately refunded me the whole charge, thankfully. Something I don't think they would have done for good measure since I am typically not one to make a fuss. read more

Had a flat tire from a nail. Brought it to TFT and had them remove the nail and plug the hole. I wake up the next day to find that not only is my tire flat again, but they never cut the plug. They literally just left the plug sticking out. Also now there is another small piece of metal that is sticking out of my tire that was not there before. Ridiculous. read more

SO BAD! I bought 4 tires with all the extras including an alignment. Everything was fine ( minus the 2 hours it took even though I had a pre-scheduled appointment) until it came to the alignment and snow tire return. I was told there was a nut seized on to the car and it needed to be loosened by a mechanic , packed with anti-seize and returned to TFT for an alignment. So I made an appointment with my mechanic, left TFT and started home . The first issue was they did not give me back my snow tires even though I had specifically asked for them before they took my car. So I drove the hour back to Biddeford after they took them out of the trash to retrieve them. About a week later I took my car to the mechanic to get the nut loose. They showed me it was hand tight and packed with anti-seize. I took my car back to TFT for another alignment. They gave it back to me stating the SAME nut was seized on. By this time I was frustrated and so was my husband. He asked what they are going to do to fix this and was told by the guy at the counter that the door was right behind him. As if the experience wasn't bad enough now we are being told to not be upset and just leave. There will be no worries about that I have cancelled my TFT credit card and will NEVER go back. read more

This place helped a super frustrating task become less-stress-filled and bank-busting. We needed all- season tires after moving here from the desert, so the hunt was in for cyber-week sales. I called and researched them all - thought we were going with Sullivan Tire until they pulled some shady -ish with my appointment. Town Fair tire listed options clean and clear on their website and suggested calling a "tire expert" prior to booking. I did, and they agreed with my decision without trying to up-sell me. We came in for our appointment and they couldn't find the special lock nut needed for our VW GTI, so they asked our permission to look through the glove compartment and console storage for what they needed, apologizing that they couldn't find what we should have been more responsible with: the precious locknut. I remembered that we had changed the tire in the side of the road once and had them look in some-tire storage for it - lo and behold we were back in business!!! Casey went above and beyond for us during our appointment and we could not be more appreciative. Thank you Casey, and Town Fair Tire for getting the Likens on the road safely for this weather - all under $700 for 4 new tires, installation, alignment, and warranty. Terrible Experience. I called last Friday (today is tuesday) to ask if they had a particular tire in stock. I replace mine 2 at a time and like to keep them uniform. They told me they did have my tires and told me i could either make a set appointment for 2 weeks from then (okay, it's the busy season) or they could put me in for a drop off on the following Monday and they would squeeze me in. It was going to snow that Monday night so i decide to drop off on monday morning and work from home, pick up before they close. I drop off Monday morning at 7:50. they call me that afternoon telling me they ordered the wrong size tires, but they could have the right ones the following day, tuesday, and were happy to keep the car overnight so i wouldn't have to drive in the snow storm on 2 bad tires the following morning. tuesday comes and just about goes. by 4:45 i haven't got a call about my car so i call to check on it. i called 5 times, held for 2 minutes each time only to be put through to a voicemail that's full therefore i can't leave a message. i know it's busy, but...really? so my dad gives me a ride over. when i get in i ask about my car and i'm told it's not ready, that the right tires just got off the truck an hour ago, and hadn't been put on yet. now, again, busiest time of year, i get it, but my car's been with these guys for two days and they're closing in 15 minutes at this point. they tell me the problem was they had to order the tires from their competitor, sullivan tire, in town. so...they DIDN'T have them in their warehouse like i was told. i point this out, they tell me "well, you know how fast tires go this time of year. what's there one minute is gone the next." ...i ordered them over the phone with them the previous friday. or thought i had. whatever, i'm here, the tires are here, i ask them how long it would take to get it done. one of the two guys i'm talking to says he was going to help out back after they got through the few remaining people at the counter. i express concern about the time, they tell me this time of year they're done when they're done, don't worry about what the closing time says. i say 'okay, give me an ETA.' 2. Hours. I told them i wanted my car back in that case. the poor guy at the counter seemed genuinely surprised. they reverse the credit card charge, get my key for me, and without an apology, without telling me they were all set with me, without even letting me move away from the counter they start talking to the guy behind me who had just walked in! so rude. worst part, they didn't tell me where my car was. i was traipsing around their slushy lots (they have 1 in front, 1 in back, and 1 off to the side) pressing the button on my key looking for a flash of light (not possible as my vehicle was buried in snow) and listening for the beep until i found my car in their back lot, where I'm fairly sure I wasn't supposed to be. as i'm cleaning off my car, one of their guys comes out back in a truck, and parks it crookedly behind my car, turns it off and walks away, making it VERY difficult to back out without hitting another car. i am very disappointed. not necessarily in the error in the tires being the wrong size the first time, things happen. i am, however, very upset with the lack of ownership and lack of recognition for the hassle this whole thing was, and lack of general decency in the treatment i received. i know it wasn't the guys' fault the wrong tires were ordered and when the truck with the correct ones got in, however, it is typical in a customer service setting to express some form of empathy for a customer's bad experience. the lack of decorum i was shown is despicable. i will not be coming here again for tires or any other service. read more

Made an appointment for tire rotation at 7:45 am. Arrived on time. Was told I had to leave the car there ALL DAY! For tire rotation? There is NO service after the sale! Price was okay but figured lots of free services like rotation and repairs. They are always so overwhelmed that when I did bring them a repair it took them three (half ass) attempts. All but the final attempt they would tell me to bring it in you get there and be told they aren't taking walk ins. I left them my car for 1 week and now I'm on hold for 16 minutes and counting. They can't find my car or paperwork. So go elsewhere, pay more because you won't use their free services. You'll just end up going elsewhere in the end. Update: I was told the reason they needed my car so long was that the tire had to be replaced and a snow storm delayed their warehouses truck. Though when I got my car back it was the same tire, repaired. So what took so long? I hope to never find out. read more

Today I had to replace a spare tire and showed up without an appointment. They had it fixed in an hour. They didn't try to sway me or try and convince me to spend more than my budget, but still gave me the best tire for my buck. I had been avoiding getting the tire replaced for weeks because I was afraid I would be talked into spending more, but that did not happen. Respectable staff and very kind! I've had good experiences at other TFT before. I went there on a Sat, It was pretty busy there and the person at the counter said 1 hour - 1 hr+15min. I went across the street for a cup of coffee. When I got back 1 hr+15 min later, my car wasn't even inside yet. Took over 2 and a half hours. The price was ok, and I have a new set of tires but the timeliness was terrible, even considering that they were busy. If you're going to give a time estimate, give an accurate one. read more

Probably the worst customer service around. We bought tires here because of the free change over (both summer and winter 2 years ago). This spring it was a free change over, even though they were not on rims. This winter, it is not free because our tires are not already on rims. When this was brought up, they asked who the sales person was. How do you expect me to remember the sales person from 8 months ago? They were very defensive. Also, when I called for an appointment this morning, they said I didn't need an appointment for a change over, first come, first serve. I said I always make an appointment, they said no, no appointment needed. I showed up today and they said I needed an appointment. Apparently, communication is not a priority. I am in the market for some new wheels for my car. I thought I'd check out Town Fair Tire in Biddeford as I was in the area. I walked in, looked at the display of different wheels and saw several that I liked and were in my price range. There were no other customers in the store and I thought it odd that nobody came to offer help. I spent maybe 5 minutes looking and none of the 3 guys standing at the counter moved an inch to help me. I finally walked up to the counter where the guy that was facing me was clicking away on his computer and never lifted his head to even acknowledge my presence let alone wait on me. The guy next to him had his back turned to me and was watching the TV that hangs down across the store near the waiting room. Another guy could see that I was waiting to ask some questions, but was too engrossed in some sort of catalog to take the time to offer help. I stood there for what was an almost uncomfortable amount of time and not so much as an acknowledgement. Needless to say, I simply turned and walked out. It was blatantly obvious that the three guys that were there have no business being in a service industry. It also makes you wonder who supervises these people and why they are so apathetic about waiting on customers? Wow. read more

We just purchased and had installed 4 new all weather tires. The staff was very professional and did a fine job balancing and installing the new tires. Within 24 hours of purchasing we had a flat. As part of the purchase the tires came with a 90 day warranty. They replaced the damaged tire with a new tire, quickly and efficiently, no questions asked. We were grateful that we purchased from them and that they were very good about honoring the warranty. We will definitely be purchasing from them again in the future. Highly recommend! read more

I would stay away from all Town Fair tires. Their prices aren't all that great. One thing that drew me in was free tire rotation. Now I went to a Town fair tire and they said they couldn't take walk-ins for rotations. Okay. So I went home and called another TFT and they said they couldn't take appointments for rotations that I should walk-in. Okay. So I go to that TFT and they say they can't take walk-ins. The guy at the counter was rude and said "we can't give appointments if there is no appointments to be had". WTH does that mean? I bought tires from these jerks just like all the people in the waiting room did and are doing. Now when it comes time to get my tires rotated they make it impossible to do so. Stay away. read more

Very disappointed with my visit. Their big ad is "we will beat any competitors price" but while I was getting my tires installed, I found them ON THEIR WEBSITE for $15 cheaper, each tire!!! Their not even matching their own price. The staff was also very unprofessional. The employees squealed the tires on my truck while moving it. I also saw them treating other customers cars poorly. One employee also was bumming cigarettes off me, I waited twice as long as they said and the whole shop stopped working when one of their friend brought his pit bull in. The pit bull was running around the store and all the employees were laughing and watching, playing with it. I must say I am very happy with the tires I bought, but next time I will be buying my tires from somebody else. read more

Yelp makes me give atleast one star but this place shoulnt even get that. There is a serious leadership problem in this store. I ordered tires off town fair's web site for my step daughter, set up an appointment as well. She arrived for the appointment and it seemed that no one knew anything about the appointment or the tires for her vehicle. They finally figured it out and brought the car in. She sat in the waiting area for close to 3 hours. Really? 3 hours for 4 tires with an appointment. When she went up to ask about my vehicle rob the store manager was extremely rude and made it seem like her time didnt mean anything i was on the phone with her when she did this, i have been hearing this a lot through out the community as well. When they were finally done she got home and realized they didnt put her all seasons back in the vehicle so i had to waste more time going back to pick them up. When i got back there to grab them i was then encountered by rob who made it seem like the tires were not there. Needless to say i did get my tires back but will never ever go back to town fair tire as long as you have such an incompetent person running this branch. I would rather pay more else where then have my family or myself insulted by such ignorance. read more
