they priced my two used tires fairly, better than any other tire store. unfortunately, I had to wait for nearly three (3) hours to get my tires changed out and mounted!!!!! I have been a car owner since 1979, and I have never had to wait more than one hour for tires to get my tires mounted, and this was on a Monday, not even a holiday??? Not to long ago, I had to get a rear tire replaced locally, and this was on the 4th of July with several cars ahead of me. If you want your vehicle returned to you in worse shape than you left it, this is the place to go. I brought my vehicle in at 3:00 PM for four new tires and an alignment. It sat untouched for about three hours. I was later told the job was "complete," only for them to add that they couldn't remove the rear tires and suggested I take it to a mechanic. I ended up removing them myself and returning so they could finish the job I was already paying for. My vehicle drove perfectly when I dropped it off, but after their "work," it began making a loud mechanical noise that wasn't present before. When I brought it back to address the issue that started immediately after their service, they denied responsibility and told me to "see a mechanic." I should not have to go elsewhere and incur additional costs to fix a problem that may have been caused during this visit. Hours wasted, incomplete service, and zero accountability. i have tried 3 different town fair tire locations in the Springfield area and they each have their own version of terrible. Chicopee threw away my all seasons when I scheduled a snow tire exchange and then only agreed to pay for two out of the 4 tires they tossed and 'couldn't find', the Boston road location reverse threaded my front tires so I ended up having to take a day off from work to bring my car to a shop to get that repaired in order to get my winter tires changed back to my all seasons. West Springfield tried to over charge me by more than $55 because the sales person pretended that he had to charge me for balancing a single new tire when I was swapping the all seasons over AND told me that he still Wanted me to balance my car even though I had one winter tire due to the above stated reverse threading. I have been customer since 1999 however I will be switching to Costco. read more

I've been going to Town Fair tire on Boston road in Springfield for as long as I can remember, Monday morning I was heading out to work and realized I had a flat, Knowing I had to be at work a half an hour I could have went to several tire places in my town but I didn't I went back to Town Fair tire, I spent $15 on a can of Fix-A-Flat I put that in the tire and I drove to Boston road, Knowing I'd be late for work I decide to take the day off so I didn't have to rush anyone cuz I know they need the time to take care of a lot of customers and I want everyone to be just as satisfied as I am, Eric went above and beyond helping me and I really appreciate it, I'll never go anywhere else and neither will my family, Town Fair tire is the Best of the best, Thank you Eric for making me safe on the road again. ​ read more

I have no real complaints. I know there are days when I come for a tire rotation there could be a waiting list depending on what customers are doing what down, ether way I wait it out or come back another day. 1/10/24 Its a shame when you bring your car to town fair tire in boston rd spfld, ma with the trust that nothing will go missing. My wife and i been bringing our cars to town fair tires for years. Today i brought her 23 Subaru for a flat tire. After picking up the car and got home, i notice that 2 of the tire air plugs were missing. I went back and talk to the sales person about it. He when to the back and came to me and told me ,the employee had it in his pockets, forgot to install them back hhhhhmmmm. I went back home and i told my wife to check her car since its her Subaru. When she check the car her pockets change was gone. This time i call, did not wanted to go there. After i explain to the person who took care at the front desk he told me, that he was going to address the problem to the manager. Its a shame when you bring your car to this business and trust that everything in the car is safe, when it really not because the employees are going thru the car to see what they can take and hope you don't notice. Made an online appt. for tire rotation--easy. Got next day appt. Got there early and was taken in early, another score. A tire delivery was in the works outside. Someone was artfully rolling tires out the back of a semi into the store like they were donuts coming out of the fryer, while an associate inside the store played interception. I was fascinated by that because the doorway width was a little tight for that kind of game. A timeout was called, however, and I made my way to the desk. Just want to add that it was a bustling, busy scene and the general mood was cheerful. All was neat and clean and employees had plenty to do. Hey! They seemed glad I was a customer! I came in alone, female senior citizen, so customer service is always a crap shoot. Had the pleasure of meeting Antonio at the desk. He greeted me like Drew Carey on the Price is Right bringing up a new contestant--all smiles He took my info and asked if a rotation was all I needed (All my Kia needed, that is). I asked about balancing and he suggested the full Monty , which is a rotation, balance, and alignment package, for a reasonable price. No hard sell, no pressure to upsell, just helpful info. I signed up for that. My one quibble, and it's just that, is that the waiting area needed a quick vac. But hey! those chairs were da bomb! I wasn't shopping for tires but on customer service alone I give this place five stars. read more

Went to TFT and they took forever to service my car. I had a nail in the tire. Not even a big nail. A cheap, 1 inch white finishing nail. I told the attendant when I got there that there was a small white nail in the tire when I got there. He said the wait may be about 90 mins. I already thought that was to long but I said ok because I have to pick my son up for 2PM. It over 2 hrs for me to get my car done. Six others came after me and left well before me. I complained and the guy told me that they had appointments. I said I had appointment at noon and I was there right at 12. So that excuse didn't work. So then he said they had to find the problem. I said I told you it was a nail. He said yes but they couldn't find it. Again I said I told you it was white... On a black tire and they couldn't find it? So then he said they might have found problems such as the nail being rusty. Seriously!?!?! I said I think you would have told me about that a long time ago not to mention you didn't pull my car back there until 1:35. He gave me a blank stare... Again I was there at 12. And again, 5 customers came and went while I was still waiting in that time. So that excuse didn't work. While I was standing there complaining to the attendant, the 6th customer came up and got his car finished. He was there for 30 mins! Thirty minutes!!! So they asked him what was done and it was a full tire rotation!!! All you heard was silence from the other attendants including the manager. So the manager went back to the bay, then the original attendant went back to the bay. I finally got the car back at 2:10. Why bother having appointments?! I would give them 1 star but the attendant said he will cover the expense despite me still offering to pay. He offered to arm wrestle me for it but I declined and I still offered to pay the $13. Then the manager came in and said not to worry about payment. I grabbed my keys and left. Extremely late picking up my son. But again, it was a 1 inch finishing nail (white), in the middle of the tire, on the tread. Just not a good experience today. Unbelievable... Do better please. read more

I took my car in to fix a flat and they scratched my rim. Was told it happens sometimes and to top it all off the tire still has a slow leak. I will always use the half circle scratch around the center of my rim as a reminder to take my business elsewhere from now on. read more

Jason did an outstanding job on my 2009 Altima. Fixed a flat, replaced a tire sensor, balanced the tire and reset the car computer. All at a fair price. Excellent advice and service. Antonio was great to deal with when I showed up an hour before they closed with a flat. He priced and showed me numerous tires to replace my cars stock oem run flats. While I was already there, I decided to replace all four instead of just one, because they were all bad, and I wouldn't pass another inspection with the ones I had. Usually when you show up at a business an hour before they close you get an attitude, but found none of that here. I watched on the cameras as the guys in the back busted their asses getting wheels on my car. They alignment guy stayed 30 minutes past closing to get my car done. I've purchased tires from this establishment many times because of the price. But I have to say that every time I do there's a problem to resolve. Don't remember all the issues but I've had lug nuts either loose or too tight. I'm forced to checking and tightening the nuts when I get home to manufacturer spec' (with a torque wrench). Another time they damaged my air pressure sensors on my new car and I ended up putting on my spare tire on the highway in the rain. The damaged sensor came loose on the highway and I lost all air pressure, damaging the tire and rim. They didn't assume responsibility and it cost me another tire ($200) and another sensor ($100). And I had to live with the damaged rim because it would of cost me an additional $500. Today I had four tires installed on my truck. I drove straight home to check the torque on the lug nuts and as expected, some were tight, some were loose...but there was also one missing!!! Really? What next? I should stop cutting corners and saving money before the next mistake on their part becomes fatal for myself and/or my family members. Careful of their service, I wouldn't trust it. read more

Short review they don't do the work you pay for do sloppy work and lie. What you save in price you pay in sloppy work. Here are the details..... On a trip up to Massachusetts tire air pressure sensor started blinking. Stopped and checked actual tire pressure with a manual gauge and all tires including the spare checked out at required 32 lb of pressure. I suspected the TPMS sensor was bad but was worried about string plugged I placed in the tire a few days earlier because I found a screw in the tire. My repair was holding but wanted it patched correctly for a long term more secure repair from the inside. Got there at 5:30 they close at 6:00 pm. Tech did a Quick check with scanner confirmed my suspicions that the sensor went bad. They took the car back after I paid and and were to replace the sensor and patch the flat. I asked the sales guy how long these sensors last and he told me 1 year. (That did not make sense since I had not replaced one in a long time 4-5 years so this is first lie, it's actually 5-7 years is the expected life of TPMS sensor) So right at 6:00 pm the repair tech swings by with my car and the light is still blinking. He tells me sesnor will reset on it's on. This is the First time I have had a tpms sensor fail so I took his word on it (made sense because the sensors transmit tire pressure intermittent to conserve battery like when your pressure is low it takes a while (less than a minute) for the dash to reflect you brought the pressure back to proper air pressure time . Well a day later Air pressure light on dash is still blinking. I also ask about the patch. He looked at me like first he heard of it. It's clearly on the invoice. Now have stress about the blinking light for 80 mile ride home and bring somewhere else. I used to be a loyal customer 4 cars multiple sets of tires from this company but what you save in price you pay for in crappy sloppy work. This put the nail coffin for me with them save money long term by having the job down right else where. Are they really balancing your tires correctly? As alignments? I go else where for this work and my tires last much longer now. read more

I was the second customer there when they opened. I knew what tire I wanted. Tito beat the Costco price I showed him from a picture I took of the tires on Costco's website; including installation, balance, and alignment (which Costco doesn't do and saves me a trip). The total time was about an hour 15 minutes of tire selection and purchase, and 45 minutes for the work to be completed. My suggestions for improvement are that TFT give an estimated wait time and improves the waiting area with the coffee/tea station (nothing available), or even offer bottled water. read more

Do not go here! I have had nothing but problems with the tires I had put on by then. One time they tried to tell my husband that someone was slashing the tires because they kept going flat but there were no slash marks. Today I had to go back and I didn't have my original paperwork. They couldn't find me in their terrible computer system despite the differnet names and phone numbers we tried. I said I've had this problem with them before and the guy actually told me then I should have had my paperwork and 'don't I learn from my mistakes'? I was floored, I turned around and walked out the door. I found the paperwork as soon as I got home and sure enough it had one of the phone numbers he supposedly tried in the computer... Also he told me my tires were bad because of the lack of alignment. Guess which company did my alignment? That would be them. read more

Roland took great care of me, took my car right in, and they quicky figured out it was simply a balancing issue with the tires. They balanced my tires at no charge!
